"Lost" Numbers Explained FINALLY!!

After almost three years of hypothesis' and theories about the TV show "Lost," finally some questions are answered. During the hiatus after the season finale last summer; ABC ran "The Lost Experience." I do not know all the details of this game but I do not even care. After each trial of the game, a fragment of the video was given for viewing pleasure. Someone talented pieced each video file together and it is what you see on the left.

Well here is the explaination and it debunks a few theories I have heard over the years and cannot wait until the season opener.

The numbers (4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42) represent the Valenzetti Equation, a mathematical formula having to do with the timetable for humanity's extinction. The show's sinister Dharma Initiative was an effort by the mysterious Hanso Foundation to ward off that inevitability. When Dharma failed, Hanso's nefarious acting leader, Thomas Mittelwerk, set in motion a plan to release a virus that would kill 30 percent of the world's population.

Freaky much?

Josh Groban's Next Single... "You Are Loved (Don't Give Up)"

This is Josh Groban's first single off his third album due to be released in November of this year. I haven't heard an the title of the album but it does not matter. The songs on the album will be awesome. I know I have been giving a lot of love to Mr. Timberlake, but in time, Mr. Groban will get his fair share. "You Are Loved (Don't Give Up)" is hitting radio airplay soon and the single should be available to purchase also.

I kinda like the song... His vocals are much more Pop oriented than his past songs. Don't get me wrong, this is not a bad thing. I don't believe he has found his sound just yet but this album could be it.

I am looking forward to hearing the entire album and seeing him on tour again next year around this time..

Listen to the Song | See the cover (Large Image) |

If you don't know who Josh Groban is by now.. That is fine.. He has enough fans... :)

(Verses)
Don't give up...
It's just the weight of the world...
When your heart's heavy, I
I will lift it for you

Don't give up...
because you want to be heard
If silence keeps you, I
I will break it for you

(Chorus)
Everybody wants to be understood
Well I can hear you...
Everybody wants to be loved
Don't give up
Because you are loved

(Verses)
Don't give up
It's just the hurt that you hide...
When your lost inside, I
I'll be there to find you

Don't give up
Because you want to burn bright...
If darkness blinds you, I
I will shine to guide you

(Chorus)
Everybody wants to be understood
Well I can hear you...
Everybody wants to be loved
Don't give up
Because you are loved (you are loved)

(Coda)
You are loved!! (you are loved)
Don't give up!! (don't give up)
It's just the weight of the world!! (you are loved)
Don't give up!! (don't give up)
Everyone needs to be heard!! (don't give up)
You are loved!! (you are loved)

2006 Primetime Emmy Awards Opening Bit

I had to post this because it was so damn funny. I wish they did more television shows, but the ones they had were on point. Each bit from Lost to House looked like it was directed by its respective directors. Amazingly fun to watch. My favorite was The Office bit.

You can't get anywhere without practice

Prison Break Dot Code

In the season opener of Prision Break, a cryptic origami Swan was for Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) saying, "THERE'S A PLAN TO MAKE ALL OF THIS RIGHT." Followed by a sequence of dots. I assumed it was some morse code, but I ran across a site that had a way figure it out. Click on the picture for a larger image.

The code results to 9755766765 or (975)-576-6765. A phone number. A simple Google search for the area code of 975 and it is North Missori code. I have tried calling the number and nothing. At least it isnt a Hollywood 555-5555 number.

In the episode, Michael's (Wentworth Miller) credit card bill was looked at and one of the listings was a Voicemail service. hmm.. Now the question is.. Can Sara solve it... before its too late or Agent Alex Mahone (William Fichtner). We will have to watch and see...

At least these codes make sense.. unlike those clues on Lost.

Ne-Yo is Gay... FALSE!!!

I have recieved word that this story is false and that a Barbara Stradoff does not even work for Essence. I don't understand how someone would take time to craft a believable blurb, well believable to me. I should have figured it wasn't true when a Google search of this Barbara resulted in nothing. My first indication that it wasn't true is the fact that he has a kid. But then again.. Tom Cruise has a kid. I kid kid..

I guess when I posted the fake piece, it didn't help cool down the rumors.. One last time, I am sorry and this story isn't true unless otherwise proven in the future.

My 2006 Emmy Picks

Outstanding Drama Series

Grey's Anatomy (ABC)
House (FOX)
The Sopranos (HBO)
24 (FOX)
The West Wing (NBC)

Wow, this is one of the hardest categories to pick my favorite in. I watch all the shows besides The West Wing and I can kinda rule out The Sopranos. Yes it is the final season and all but the show has lost its steam compared to the first 5 seasons. Grey's Anatomy and 24 seem to be the favorites from what I read from other critics. I picked 24 because this season that passed was amazing and the drama was felt from each episode. Grey's Anatomy has its drama but its cloaked in comedy and 24 has been more consistent. And I think season 5's finale was more shocking than season 4's.

Outstanding Comedy Series

Arrested Development" (FOX)
Curb Your Enthusiasm" (HBO)
The Office" (NBC)
Scrubs" (NBC)
Two and a Half Men" (CBS)

Again, another trick category to pick a favorite. I watch every show besides Two and a Half Men. That show and Scrubs seem to be the surprise nominations. Arrested Development has been on thin ice since it debuted 3 years ago and as far as I know, FOX hasn't made plans to renew the series. I will rule out Scrubs as the winner. The show has it's core audience but sometimes some of the jokes seem in bad taste but I have had many laugh out loud moments.
The Office is an amazingly hilarious show. I cannot say how many times I have seen each season over and over. My pick is The Office because the humor is unique compared to the other nominees. However I do have a feeling Arrested Development might take it away or I could be very wrong.

Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series

Frances Conroy, "Six Feet Under" (HBO)
Geena Davis, "Commander In Chief" (ABC)
Mariska Hargitay, "Law & Order: SVU" (NBC)
Allison Janney, "The West Wing" (NBC)
Kyra Sedgwick, "The Closer" (TNT)

I picked Mariska Hargitay because from the list, it is the only show I watch. But if I had to make a prediction based on what I hear, I would most likely choose Kyra Sedgwick.

Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series

Peter Krause, "Six Feet Under" (HBO)
Denis Leary, "Rescue Me" (FX)
Christopher Meloni, "Law & Order: SVU" (NBC)
Martin Sheen, "The West Wing" (CBS)
Kiefer Sutherland, "24" (FOX)

Hmm.. Toss up between Denis Leary and Kiefer Sutherland. Both awesome actors in their respective shows but Kiefer seem to be one-dimensional. I am not saying that's bad, the delivery and intensity is always on mark. However, Leary's ball busting, Irish whisky drinking, firefighting Tommy Gavin character is very cathartic.

Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series

Stockard Channing, "Out of Practice" (CBS)
Jane Kaczmarek, "Malcolm in the Middle" (FOX)
Lisa Kudrow, "The Comeback" (HBO)
Debra Messing, "Will & Grace" (NBC)
Julia Louis-Dreyfus, "The New Adventures of Old Christine" (CBS)

Julia Louis-Dreyfus.. why? The only show I watched and it's funny... All I can really say..

Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series

Steve Carell, "The Office" (NBC)

Larry David, "Curb Your Enthusiasm" (HBO)
Kevin James, "The King of Queens" (CBS)
Tony Shalhoub, "Monk" (USA)
Charlie Sheen, "Two and a Half Men" (CBS)

Tony Shalhoub is nominated again and won last year. Charlie Sheen is the new comer and is banking on the fact that he is nominated and asking CBS for a million dollar per episode deal from what I recall. Steve Carell and Larry David are funny dudes on their shows.. Even though Shalhoub will most likely win again, I will be rooting for Carell. Off the bat you want to hate him for the stunts he pulls but when you give it time, you feel sad for his character. Go 40 year old virgin!!

Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series

Candice Bergen, "Boston Legal" (ABC)

Blythe Danner, "Huff" (Showtime)
Sandra Oh, "Grey's Anatomy" (ABC)
Jean Smart, "24" (FOX)
Chandra Wilson, "Grey's Anatomy" (ABC)

A top notch running for Supporting Actress here.. Danner won last year but her role seemed to be cut down in season two of Huff. Jean Smart was a little too whinny on 24 for me. I would like Oh or Wilson to win, especially Oh but Bergen will have to be my pick.

Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series

Alan Alda, "The West Wing" (NBC)
Michael Imperioli, "The Sopranos" (HBO)
Gregory Itzin, "24" (FOX)
Oliver Platt, "Huff" (Showtime)
William Shatner, "Boston Legal" (ABC)

William Shatner.. No explanation needed. I think he won the last 2 years and deserves to win again for his character, Denny Crane.

Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series

Cheryl Hines, "Curb Your Enthusiasm" (HBO)
Megan Mullally, "Will & Grace" (NBC)
Elizabeth Perkins, "Weeds" (Showtime)
Jaime Pressly, "My Name Is Earl" (NBC)
Alfre Woodard, "Desperate Housewives" (ABC)

Don't know who to pick here.. I will just go with Alfre Woodard.

Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series

Will Arnett, "Arrested Development" (FOX)
Bryan Cranston, "Malcolm in the Middle" (FOX)
Jon Cryer, "Two and a Half Men" (CBS)
Sean Hayes, "Will & Grace" (NBC)
Jeremy Piven, "Entourage" (HBO)

I REALLY want Jeremy Piven to win, but I think he has been nominated a few times already and haven't won. This goes to Will Arnett.

Outstanding Reality/Competition Program

"The Amazing Race" (CBS)
"American Idol" (FOX)
"Dancing with the Stars" (ABC)
"Project Runway" (Bravo)
"Survivor" (CBS)

I could careless about this category so I will pick last year's winner, The Amazing Race. However Dancing with the Stars was fun to watch, and a lot more fun to be there.

...and the Emmy goes to..

Listen to FutureSex/LoveSounds

Here is a treat for you Justin Timberlake fans.. The entire album available to take a listen to INCLUDING the bonus track "Pose" featuring Snoop Dogg. The following are my thoughts on the tracks and be sure to buy the album on September 12th. Best Buy is selling it for $9.99. You will be album to take a listen to the album on the right side under Plug it.

FutureSex/ LoveSound
- First thing I think of is Prince.. The beat, sexuality and Justin's voice screams "The Artist." Second I think of is JC Chasez.. Remember his song A.D.I.D.A.S (All Day I Dream About Sex)? This is the first song of the album and does set the tone and mood.

SexyBack

- The first single and the calling card of Justin Timberlake's comeback.. Well not a comeback but a return to the music scene after a hiatus of four years. Not a fan of the video because there is no dancing!!

Sexy Ladies

- Definitely a little Moris Day and the Time sounding. A little too slow for my taste but still a jammer

Let Me Talk to You - Prelude

- All I can say is that I feel like i should be in Rio de Jeniero awhile listening to this song. Dressed up in ruffles in bright colors in a parade behind steel drum players.

My Love

- The next single off FutureSex/LoveSounds.. I say one of my favorites off the album. I hope the video is better than SexyBack. Listen to the giggle and operaish sounds after the chorus. Does the opera sounding chick a violin or an actual chick. Listen for yourself

LoveStoned/I Think She Knows

- Another fav. It has my favorite lyrics off the album, She's freaky and she knows it/She's freaky and I like it/ Very very funky track and the hook reminds me of a Michael Jackson song. I say the best vocal performance on the album. The song slows down half way and sounds like a Coldplay song with Timberlake sounding a little like Chris Martin.

What Comes Around Goes Around

- The song opens up sounding like you would hear it in a Hookah bar but once the beat kicks in, it mellows out. Another downer song that would seem like it would be on the last album following, "Cry Me a River." Timberlake has already stated that its not about Britney Spears. I am going to say it here.. I do think it has some resonance to Britney. All and all a decent track but its not "Cry Me a River."

Chopped Me Up

- Three Six Mafia guest on this track and it feels like Justin should be the one guesting on it. The song seems really out of place. The best part of the track is Timberlake's hook.

Damn Girl

- An obvious Will.I.Am from the Black Eyed Peas track. The down beat from the drum is a signature Black Eyed Peas sound. The chorus gives you that Al Green tingle.

Summer Love

- This track gives me the Bobby Brown sound especially the hook. One of the favs though but the production is a little over done...

Set the Mood

- A little 112ish and Ginuwine sounding...

Until the End of Time

- The song hasn't grown on me yet but I do like the stings.

Losing My Way

- A decent song.. on the MTV special, he said its about someone in a movie called Virgina Beach. I think.. A decent song to listen to.

Another Song, All Over Again

- A song that sounds like Brian McKnight or Musiq Soulchild would do.

Pose

- Guest vocals with Snoop and it is a half way decent song. The last few songs are disappointing with more than 75 percent of the CD hitting high notes.

All and all its a good album I don't think its better than Jusfied but it is worth a listen to. I predict LoveSound will be there third single off the album. The cd hits stores on September 12th with an extra bonus song for iTune Pre-Order. The FutureSex/LoveSounds World Tour kicks off in January in Los Angeles.

"My Love" featuring T.I. He talked about it on MTV, the song with the southern flavor with T.I. on the track. I believe this song is way better than SexyBack.Enjoy!!

In this corner we have the Gilmore Girls.. In the other corner we have WWE Smackdown. FIGHT!!

You either caught the reference from my title or thought it was totally random. If you had the latter reaction, yours was the same as mine. If you haven’t heard yet, the WB and UPN networks have merged into a new entity, The CW Network. The end result network coming from the 2 parent companies, "C" as CBS and "W" as in Warner Bros.

Both networks started in the mid 90’s in 1995. The overall ratings from each network are usually on the bottom on the totem pole. The WB tried to shop to one of the top 4 network which declined, (I assume it was ABC since their sister network ABC family currently syndicates Gilmore Girls, Smallville, and 7th Heaven) and went for the sure thing, UPN.

This merge is a last ditch effort to try to turn a profit on these networks who main demographic is the diverse 18 – 34 males and females. Both will take their strengths and the weak will bite the dust.

The shows The WB is slating to keep Smallville, Gilmore Girls, Supernatural and Beauty and the Geek. The UPN has Everybody Hates Chris, Veronica Mars, and America’s Top Model. The WWE Smackdown will play an intricate part in the scheduling.

Those are the shows everyone is reporting that are apparently in The CW lineup. What about the other shows? Currently in limbo until the network makes their Fall Lineup announcements in May. The WB’s Everwood has been on the backburner as of November; however Entertainment Weekly reported that the network had the show featured in a clip reel shown during the press conference. That’s certainly a sigh of relief for me. This may seem like a surprise to the general audience of the networks but was much bigger surprise for the producers for the shows on each network. Apparently no one involved with the current shows lineup even had an any idea.

UPN is benefiting from this more than The WB in my eyes. UPN is currently in 75 percent of the markets where to The WB hit 95 percent markets.

Nothing will be for certain how this merger will result. Each network will respectively stay on their current lineup until September, and then the actual The CW will air. We can only hope all my shows will stay intact. However its been said if the two networks couldn’t get it right the last 11 years, the next 11 wouldn’t be any easier. Lets just hoep all the crap shows on UPN doesn’t manifest itself on the new network. There go all the random sitcoms on the UPN and a few on The WB.

Goodbye Michigan J. Frog, hello whatever the new logo will be.

Dancing with the Stars Season 2

Note: Photo of the cast on Season 1, cant find a current one.
The show will be back January 5th at 8PM. Is this season going to be as hyped up and popular as the first season?
Well they are using the same formula.. Strike up the band aka orchestra, outfits that would make a exotic dancer blush, and hopefully the 16.8 million viewers the show brought in last summer. Oh dont forget the oh don’t you remember that person from that __________ Insert movie, tv show, and/or boy band?

TIA CARRERE – Television and movie star known for her stunning beauty. She will be partnered with professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

GISELLE FERNANDEZ – Emmy Award-winning journalist. She will be partnered with professional dancer Jonathan Roberts, who returns to the series from last season.

GEORGE HAMILTON – Actor and international bon vivant. He will be partnered with professional dancer Edyta Sliwinska, who makes her second appearance in the series.

STACY KEIBLER – WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) diva. She will be partnered with professional dancer Tony Dovolani.

DREW LACHEY – Recording artist and former member of the pop group 98 Degrees. He will be partnered with professional dancer Cheryl Burke.

KENNY MAYNE – One of ESPN's most-recognized personalities, known for his dry wit and a former college quarterback. He will be partnered with professional dancer Andrea Hale.

TATUM O'NEAL – Academy Award-winning actress. She will be partnered with professional dancer Nick Kosovich.

JERRY RICE – Three-time Super Bowl champ and considered by many to be the greatest wide receiver to ever play in the NFL. He will be partnered with professional dancer Anna Trebunskaya.

LISA RINNA – Actress, entrepreneur and host of SOAPnet's "Soap Talk." She will be partnered with professional dancer Louis van Amstel, who returns to the series from last season.

ROMEO - Teen rap star and performer since age eleven. He will be partnered with professional dancer Ashly Delgrosso, who also returns to the series from last season.

Tia Carrere fills the random, C-List card carrying member but you have a body that looks good in them dance outfits celebrity as Rachel Hunter did prior.

Drew Lachey, yes related to ex-Newlywed Nick Lachey, filles the Joey Mcintrye former boy band member.

Always looking overly tanned George Hamilton covers "the really who are you old guy with an interesting voice" John O'Hurley.

Jerry Rice fits the "we need at least one black guy quota and lets see if we can make him look dumb" role that Evander Holyfield held last summer. However I think Rice will be a bit better since hes once of the greatest wide receivers of all time. So gotta have those crazy legs. Romeo joins Rice as one of the brothers.

Lisa Rinna fits the "we need someone who has to do with Soap Operas" as the first winner Kelly Monaco did. Will she be as good? I think she’s gonna be a little prissy but for sure he will look good in the outfits.

That chick on The Bachlorette last season will fit the TOTALLY random "celebrity" Giselle Fernandez of this season.

2 added additions, Stacy Kiebler of the WWE will look HOTT in the outfits. With her long long long legs, she should be a good dancer. Tatum O'Neal, who knows. Should be a good season.

Them outfits... wow...

CBGB lives to see another day.. well a year actually.

Looks like its saved for another year. I posted on this a few months back about its demise, and to be closed down since what i recall the rent each month about $40,000. The owner Hill Kristal reached an agreement on December 6th with the committee which owns the building. The location will remain in its NYC location in the East Village until October 31, 2006. The owner is looking for a new space for the place. Good luck on that. More info on CBGB and the saving efforts check out. CBGB Online | SaveCBGB.org

Who the heck is the Carver??

So the third season of Nip/Tuck is coming to an end Tuesday. Finally we will find out who the Carver is. The person has been terrorizing Miami since second 2, mainly McNamara/Troy. I totally missed all of season two could i really couldn’t handle them surgery scenes but man did i get into it this season. Who do i think it is?? Let me go over some reasoning in my mind and yeah..

Everyone one thinks its Dr. Quentin Costa, played by Bruno Campos but that’s a little too obvious if you asked me. I have a theory that involves him but ill go over that later. Being a surgeon, he has access to all those numbing chemicals and of course being Bi. Christian Troy was rapped the finale of last season. But i don’t really think its Dr. Costa.

I really think its Matt McNamara (John Hensley). It’s been a crazy life for this kid, learning his dad isnt really his biological dad, but his real dad is the best friend of his mothers ex husband. Yeah i know crazy. Lotta drama with him and his former dad. Fights, retraining orders and what not. Matt ex girlfriend was actually a post opt transgender. He has had a messed up year and i mean dont you think being the Carver tops it off? Plus since this is Nip/Tuck and the show is ALWAYS pushing the buttons. That would mean he rapped his own father, his biological one that is. Not really that inappropriate for this show, and Matt did question his sexuality after his stint with Eva, the transgender chick, dude, whatever. Again with his real father, and father that raised him being surgeons, readily access to surgical knives.

Heres the kicker though.. I don’t think there’s just one Carver, i believe Matt McNamara and Dr. Quentin Costa are working together. Why? I just do. I kinda believe a son rapping the father is just a little too much. So in that case the Dr. did that. I haven’t gone back to look if Matt was at Christians wedding or not but i assumed. So in that case, Dr. Costa was the one who kidnapped Kimber. Heres a truly off the wall but don’t think it is, Matt and Quentin are lovers!! How about that for a must see 4th season?? Quentin is an open bisexual in the show, and Matt thinks he knows what his orientation is.

Maybe im right? Maybe im wrong?? I haven’t gone over this predication with anyone, but im going to stick to it. Check out the 2 hour season finale on Tuesday. I know i will... However hopefully at the Geisha House in Hollywood at the Season Finale party...

whodunnit??

Musicality: Ashlee Simpson - I Am Me

So I figure i should have a post of this album, and a post from now on for all my featured albums since people seem not to find it so easy.

The album is out October 18th, however i have the full album for your listening pleasure. Some of you will already purchase the album even after hearing, some will not like it and save some dough, and then some will like the album after listening.

I would love to review the album and critic every single track, but ill just comment on the tracks i like. Which are... "L.O.V.E" with its funky disco beat... "Burning Up" with the same, however the vocals on this track a lot more seductive. "Coming Back For More" sounds like a Shaina Twain song.. If you listen closely to the guitar in the introduction. However i do like the poppy sound and the relatible lyrics.

Obviously this album songs and their lyrics would revolve around Simpson's emotions at the time of writing the songs. The last album was example number 1 and so is this current album. The title track "I Am Me" is another prime example, and explained by Simpson at her House of Blues concert last month.. It was a song about when she saw her ex-boyfriend with another girl. Of course it was easily to assume it was Ryan Cabrera.

"Eyes Wide Open," totally random song about her seeing a ghost. Pretty much the most random song she could write and sing about.

OUT OF 5 STARS

I give the album a 3 out of 5 stars. The album doesnt do much and doesnt show much growth from the debut album. Its still has the punky pop more pop than punk or even rock sound, which shouldnt bother the fans much, however the album has less songs to dance to. I highly doubt this album will be as multiplatinum as did "Autobiography."

Cinema: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

I came to watch this movie with much resistance. I wanted to keep the old movie in my mind and not have it replace. Trust me of all people, i love the remakes. Starsky and Hutch, and other movies i cant think of. I just thought you couldnt made the original version any better. You just cant. Time Burton state and not verbatim, " Some people hold in high regard the original movie, im not one of those people." That is the very reason why he decided to make a remake, and of course with his favorite actor, Johnny Depp.

As i watch the movie, wishing i was watching Wedding Crashers. I was craving for chocolate. Not to spoil, however the opening of the movie is Wonka's factory producing CGI bars of candy, showing the manufacturing of the chocolate bars with the golden tickets. Even though the candy was fake, man that made me want a cadbury bar, or a Hersey car or something. an, o man, all through the movie i wanted chocolate so bad.

The movie gave a little back story on the history of the factory. I am not too sure if this was covered in the book or the last movie. Saying how he closed his factory down due to spys giving up secrets and what not. I found that pretty cool. The movie actually gave background to the factory, Wonka's life, and a little story afterwards when Charlie wins the factory. A little emotional story and what not.

Burton made out the factory to be this huge thing in this little small city compared to Charlie s family's house. The dynamic of Charlie's grandparents on both side was remeniace of the original. The relationship between the main grandfather and Charlie was sweet. You can clearly see the impoverish situation of the family with the daily meals of cabbage soup.

Again, this movie seem to set out explanations more than anything else in reflection of the prior movie. The status of the fathers job, which was a toothpaste top screwer. In other words, someone who screws on the top to toothpaste containers.

One thing that was truly missing and is so timely, was the music from the first. I guess you just cant include that into a remake. However the "Candy Man" and Oompa Loompa chants. The only music were songs that came about after a member of the visitors of the factory were axed. Which were pretty much were the same as the original. The visitors being axed that is. Well the memorable processes. They added the a few new ones, well replaced them that is. One where the smart kid is shrunk due to Wonka's invention of transmitting chocolate bars into television. Another, the spoil girl tried to take a worker squirrel. Both her and the day was pushed into the huge garbage chute. I will have to say that the Oompa Loompa ssongs after, was kinda annoying.

Speaking of the songs afterwards. As i watch the Oompa Loompa. I couldnt help but be dumbfounded. The actor who played them looked familiar. Just one week prior i was at a party he attended. I worked the red carpet and he showed up with Jose Canseco. i didnt think anything of it, i just thought he was part of his entourage or something. However, his name, Deep Roy he was all the Oompa Loompa.

Also, the movie gave the background on the Oompa Loompa, and why Wonka even had them working for him, which was nice.

I kinda miss the fruit flavored wall, and the soda pop that got Charlie and his grandfather floating. Those moments in the original stuck out in my mind.

Johnny Depp protroyal of Willy Wonka was kinda weird to say at the least. With his nervous smiles and laughes. Then his weird flashbacks to his childhood where his father, played by Christopher Lee, which was a dentist, pretty much tormented him about sweets and what not. During his childhood flashback, he had this gotty contraption for his teeth. like this headgear type thing.

Over all, i ended up liking this movie. I mean like i said prior, i do like remakes. I just wanted to not like this one. Even without an open mind, i indeed liked the movie. The only problem was the annoying music from the Oompa Loompa and i still having had that chocolate bar i was craving.... :)

Who can take a sunrise,
Sprinkle it with dew?
Cover it in chocolate and a miracle or two?
The candy man
The candy man can
The candy man can, cause he mixes it with love
And makes the world taste good

Update: Wango Tango 2005!!

Its that time again.. KIIS FM annual super concert bash!! I knew the date and place before they officially did. Now, the acts, that is top secret info and Ryan Seacrest will be announcing them starting Monday, one by one. However, i am going to make my predicitions and reasons why.. I will try to confirm them with my sources as soon as i can.. Wango Tango usually draws in about 16 acts..Gonna be hard to predict.. Of course, im going to this, i mean cmon.. its a given... anyways... Now on to the predictions...

Ryan Cabrera A fan favorite and always does shows for KIIS FM. He has a big gap from one show to another during those days. I think it is a week. So ill say Ryan.

Jesse Mccartney His song "Beautiful Soul" is on rotation nonstop and hasnt done any shows.. He has been doing mall tours and what not. Heard he did a Hollister Lounge 22 concert, only ones invited were people who spend money on the clothes in their club.. uhh.. did i go? no.. could i have? yes.. hollister club member? hell no.. surprised? yes because i live in rancho and we have a hollister now.. whatever..

Kelly Clarkson Another KIIS favorite, and Ryan Seacrest always plays "Since You Been Gone." I guess its good to know a KIIS FM DJ especially if he hosted the show where you won your stardom. Nonetheless, the cd is great! Listen to it lots... Also she is in town doin the Wiltern a few days later....

Frankie J & Baby Bash - They performed at the 2003 JoJo Jam, also a favorite of JoJo. The song "Obsession" is burning up the charts. Number one for a few weeks on iTunes. Not really a major act, but you need a few of those before you get to the heavy hitters.

Lindsay Lohan - Havent seen her performed much out there since her album "Speak" was released. But if i know KIIS FM as well as i know, this will be a form of publicity for KIIS, so they will do whatever it takes to get her there and perform 2 songs.

Paris Hilton - Thats RANDOM!! Well, just for kicks, and most likely the concert will be taped for a FOX concert special, and the appearance will give it some HOTTNESS?. She may even premiere a song off her upcoming cd.

Omarion - Not to be racial, but they gotta hit upon R&B, Rock, and what not. He will be a good addition to the bunch.. have the cd, but havent listened to it yet, but i guess its cool.. adding to the theme....

Akon - Hate the song, but KIIS listeners love it. All i gotta say there..

Ciara - Again going with the flava, her she gots 3 singles out, and thats pretty much the set for each artist.

The Killers Now for the rock bands.. I wouldnt think they would play this type of venue but you never know. Avalon Attractions produces Wango Tango and is promoting their tour as far as i know.

Maroon 5 They are currently on tour, they did Jingle Ball, but maybe another show. However, i kinda doubt it. They are in Anahiem on the 8th, and the show is a week after. Maybe a break? But if they have other dates passed it, then i doubt it, however it would be nice to see them again.

Will Smith - Switch is a hot hit. Also will bring in some star power....

Gwen Stefani - Surprised performer at 04 Jingle Ball, i would say it will be nice to have her on the line up.

Backstreet Boys - Yes yes, sadly i dont want to put them up on my predications and all but their new single is out and cd on the way. Lets just not hope this happens, but im just guessing.

a Random American Idol.. im sorry but im sure theres gonna be a few.

I DONT WANT TO PREDICT ANYMORE, RYAN SEACREST WILL BE ANNOUCING ONE OR A FEW TOMORROW. I WILL POST THEM UP WHEN I GET THEM, HOPEFULLY BEFORE RYAN DOES!! HAHA.

Wango my TANGO!!!!

Musicality: Snoop Dogg with Justin Timberlake!!

Just a minor rant, well not rant but post. One of the tightest songs off Snoop Dogg's latest album; R&G (Rhythm & Gangsta): The Masterpiece. The lastest video/single of the album features Justin Timberlake and Chalire Wilson. This song is OFF THE HOOK!!! Produced by the Neptunes, which always gives you that hot hot beat..

This video makes me laugh my butt of because Justin Timberlake is tight and in a scene, he does the crip walk. Just funny.. but nonetheless hella tight..

Cant wait to check Snoop out in May, its gonna be a tight show especially with The Game on tour with him.

Check out the video out for yourself

I'm not sure what I see,You better don't f*ck wit me!,Are you telling me this is a sign? She's looking in my eyes, now I see no other guys Are you telling me this is a sign?

Britney shocking the Press once again...

It is no big surprise that Britney Spears is still all over the media even without an album out, however she has already announced the title of the 5th album, Mona Lisa. Shes even premiered a clip from the album on 102.7 KIIS FM a few months back.

Anyways, she has stated that she wanted to be a young mom. Britney may as well get that wish. It has been all over the news, with photos of a larger sized Britney and Britney shopping for baby clothes. Hmmm.. However, the media keeps on speculating. Personally i believe that she is, i mean the facts are there in plain view to see. However then again, she is not touring. She is known to let go after touring, and gain a little weight. But.... then she states on her website...

"I feel as though I have been very quiet and still lately. 'The calm before the storm' — I can really relate to that statement."

Can we get a little more cryptic? Who the heck knows... But i think i heard on E! News that she is shooting for a December birth?? I think? Well that would be the same as the mother who is a Sagiturius. All i goats to say is that Sagiturius rules!! I just find it funny that the media cannot get enough of her.

Mr. Spears might be a father to be once again...

My Oscar Picks!

The 2005 Academy Awards hosted by Chris Rock. We are used to seeing him on the MTV Video Music Awards, however he is going to be hosting Hollywood biggest night. His plan on hosting is a great and shows him that hes a great entertainer. He stated that this will be the peoples Academy Awards. Where he will make the person who never seen Sideways but seen Bourne Surpremecy two times seen apart of the Oscars. The following are my picks.... like it or love it.

Performance by an actor in a leading role

Don Cheadle in “Hotel Rwanda”
Johnny Depp in “Finding Neverland”
Leonardo DiCaprio in “The Aviator”
Clint Eastwood in “Million Dollar Baby”
Jamie Foxx in “Ray”

Jamie Foxx really deserves this award, its hella tight seeing him from the Jamie Foxx Show to his role in Ray and Collateral. I believe he will win and should win, however Don Cheadle is one of my favorite actors. He also should win this award. It would be between them. Dont think i dont see the other nominees, these are some heavy hitters.

Performance by an actor in a supporting role

Alan Alda in “The Aviator”
Thomas Haden Church in “Sideways”
Jamie Foxx in “Collateral”
Morgan Freeman in “Million Dollar Baby”
Clive Owen in “Closer”

Again i would love to see Jamie Foxx get this award. However Alan Alda i think will win this award. Morgan Freeman had an excellent performance in Million Dollar Baby but he has done roles like this before and it wouldnt be any departure.

Performance by an actress in a leading role

Annette Bening in “Being Julia”
Catalina Sandino Moreno in “Maria Full of Grace”
Imelda Staunton in “Vera Drake”
Hilary Swank in “Million Dollar Baby”
Kate Winslet in “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”

Hands down i want Kate Winselet to win. HANDS DOWN. This i can say was my favorite movie of 2004. However, Hilary Swank's performance and transformation into this buff chick will take the Oscar away, no doubt.

Performance by an actress in a supporting role

Cate Blanchett in “The Aviator”
Laura Linney in “Kinsey”
Virginia Madsen in “Sideways”
Sophie Okonedo in “Hotel Rwanda”
Natalie Portman in “Closer”

Cate Blanchett is the favorite. Natalie Portman was pretty hot in Closer. However i believe Virginia Madsen will win. Her role was more unique to me than the other nominees in the other movies.

Best animated feature film of the year

“The Incredibles”
“Shark Tale”
“Shrek 2”

I dont see much with Shark Tale. However Incredibles had a great concept, but man Shrek 2 was a funny movie.

Achievement in directing

“The Aviator” Martin Scorsese
“Million Dollar Baby” Clint Eastwood
“Ray” Taylor Hackford
"Sideways” Alexander Payne
“Vera Drake” Mike Leigh

Martin Scorsese, cmon. One of the friggin greatest directors ever. But if he would have competition, it would be from the man... CLint Eastwood.

Best documentary feature

“Born into Brothels”
“The Story of the Weeping Camel”
“Super Size Me”
“Tupac: Resurrection”
“Twist of Faith”

Very very very informantive. Junk food is sooo sick. If you havent seen it, you have to watch this movie

Achievement in music written for motion pictures (Original song)

“Accidentally In Love” from “Shrek 2”
Lyric by Adam Duritz and Daniel Vickrey

“Al Otro Lado Del Río” from “The Motorcycle Diaries”
Music and Lyric by Jorge Drexler

“Believe” from “The Polar Express”
Music and Lyric by Glen Ballard and Alan Silvestri

Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber
Lyric by Charles Hart

“Look To Your Path (Vois Sur Ton Chemin)” from “The Chorus (Les Choristes)”
Music by Bruno Coulais
Lyric by Christophe Barratier

Very likely to win, not being bias since Josh Groban is the one who sang the song. But it is going to be performed at the Oscars, like i said in a previous post. T-Minus 22 days until Josh Groban in Vegas!

Best motion picture of the year

“The Aviator”
“Finding Neverland”
“Million Dollar Baby”
“Ray”
“Sideways”

The only ones to pick from this category is either Aviator or Million Dollar Baby. Aviator is the favorite but i will have to go with Million DOllar Baby

Achievement in film editing

“The Aviator”
Thelma Schoonmaker

“Collateral”
Jim Miller and Paul Rubell

“Finding Neverland”
Matt Chesse

“Million Dollar Baby”
Joel Cox

“The Aviator”
Sandy Powell

“Finding Neverland”
Alexandra Byrne

“Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events”
Colleen Atwood

“Ray”
Sharen Davis

“Troy”
Bob Ringwood

I would love to see Troy win. However you have seen the whole epic greek or ancient look done with Lord of the Rings. The Aviator will take this due to the time period it was based in. The costumes were amazing and the glamor was clearly shown.

Achievement in art direction

“The Aviator”
Art Direction: Dante Ferretti
Set Decoration: Francesca Lo Schiavo

“Finding Neverland”
Art Direction: Gemma Jackson
Set Decoration: Trisha Edwards

“Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events”
Art Direction: Rick Heinrichs
Set Decoration: Cheryl Carasik

“The Phantom of the Opera”
Art Direction: Anthony Pratt
Set Decoration: Celia Bobak

“A Very Long Engagement”
Art Direction: Aline Bonetto

Ill have to go with Finding Neverland, however i have a feeling The Aviator could take this away. I havent seen Phantom of the Opera and plan on checking that out.

Achievement in cinematography

“The Aviator”
Robert Richardson

“House of Flying Daggers”
Zhao Xiaoding

“The Passion of the Christ”
Caleb Deschanel

“The Phantom of the Opera”
John Mathieson

“A Very Long Engagement” (Warner Independent Pictures)
Bruno Delbonnel

Hands down this has to go to House of Flying Daggers. This movie is so visually stimulating. Great colors, great contrast.

Mr. Groban returns to the Oscar stage.

The Oscars are this weekend. The biggest showing of celebrites in one place at one time. The attendees are getting ready by finding that perfect dress or suit and getting pampered like royalty. I, myself have an Oscar party to attend to and have to get ready myself. Anyways, while everyone done what they do to get ready, Josh Groban is rehearsing for his perfomance on Oscar night.

Feeling under the weather this week, he will be performing "Believe" from The Polar Express with Beyonce. That will be a very interesting performnace to watch. Oscar night is also Groban's 24th birthday, will he be celebrating at an Oscar after-party. That will be left to see, however i believe the song will win the Oscar for Best Song and hes going to have to show off the Oscar at the parties. However im sure the writers will be have dibs. I will have my Oscar picks later on today. Be sure to watch the Oscars or at least his performance Sunday February 27th on ABC 8:00PM.

Josh Groban, song writer Glen Ballard and producer of the 77th Academy Awards Gil Cates listen to Groban's recording of the song the Oscar nominated song 'Believe' from the film 'Polar Express' with singer Beyonce Knowles at Capitol Recording Studios in Los Angeles Ballard co-wrote the song with Alan Silvestri. Photo taken 2/21/2005. Click for larger image

Straight from Gil Cates' blog, producer of 77th Academy Awards:

Later in the day, I spent several hours at a musical recording session with some of the performers of the Oscar nominated songs. After listening to Beyonce, Josh Groban, Antonio Banderas and Carlos Santana fine tune their performances with the full Oscar orchestra conducted by Bill Conti, I am more confident than ever that the live musical performances will be a highlight of this year's Oscars.

Some FYI for yall... from Rolling Stone.

TOP MONEY MAKERS 2004
40. Josh Groban $12.1 MILLION

ON THE ROAD The operatic balladeer played seventy-five dates, performing before an average of 7,000 fans a night.
ON CD 3.7 million units sold.
ON THE SIDE He took in Hollywood cash for tunes featured in The Polar Express and Troy, and he sold 500,000 copies of his two concert DVDs.
Last year's rank: NA

Yeah about half of that came from me. HAHAHA..

Believe in what your heart is saying......You have everything you need, if you just believe.

Update: Grammys 2005

So just watching the preshow stuff on E! and MTV. Im sorry but Star Jones and Kathy Griffin are hella annoying and i dont even think they know who they are talking to. Very very annoying as fuck! However i saw Christina Milian wearing Versace looks hella fine. Then Joss Stone looks hella tall and shes hella fione also. Shoot. All about the British chicks with their accents. Of course Alicia Keys friggin is hella beautiful. When i saw her back at Jingle Ball, goodness!!! SHes looking hella good on the green carpet.

Starting off with Black Eye Peas with the hella tight song Lets get it Started. Man i remember seeing them last year and man they were hella tight, especially Fergie, shes wearing something a little not used to her usually short skirt.

Then it went right into to Gwen Stefani and Eve with Rich Girl. Reminds me of the American Music Awards with back to back performances, but its gonna be 5 back to back. Man, it would be hella hella tight if i was there. Jeeze. ANYWAYS!! They all up in the pirate attire which is pretty nice and stuff if you are into that.

Now back to Black Eye Peas, thats pretty friggin sweet.

Los Lonely Boys, from Texas. They do a pretty tight version of Hotel California in spanish. Stupid Star Jones didnt do no research at all and thought they were from California in Los Angeles. How racisit is that??? Mexicans from LA. HAHA.. anyways.. They perform there song Heaven. DUDE, the Staples Center looks soo fucking sweet.

Now, Maroon 5, they are hella gonna win so many awards. I CANT WAIT TO SEE THEM IN CONCERT!!! Performing This Love, the piano guy supporting a peace sign arm band of course aimed towards Bush of course. Adam Levine dawn the guitar and playued a solo with Will.I.Am singing versus of Lets Get it Started.

Last to perform, Franz Fernandad with Take me Out. Their sound is so damn great and so catchy!! I recommand their album if you dont have it already. The lead singer has funny hair and a weid hair cut.

All the groups all are playing together and it sounds like a huge mess, but man if you were there, it would friggin amp you up so so much. 5 groups singing their song. DUDE, its hella crazy!!

Now they are going throught the line up of people who are performing or presenting and man, some of the peopel there esepcially actors are hella random....

Queen Latifah is hosting which is kinda random, again. It should have been Dave Chapelle or something, make that shit funny or something. Oh well, Chris Rock will be hosting the Oscars and that shit will be hella hilarious.

Her opening is somewhat on par but whatever. Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez is going to have some sort of crazy performance. Im gonan be hella upset watch.

They showed a few categoies and winners when John Travola, Christina Milian, and Steven Tyler were up presenting. Best Pop Vocal Performance when to John Mayer. That hella sucks. big balls. Josh Groban, next time.. next time!! Los Lonely Boys won Best Pop Group/Duo. Big surprise, it should have been Maroon 5 or Hoobastank.

After the commericial, Alicia Keys is performing. She performs If i Aint Got You with something that looks like an orchestra. She brings out Jamie Foxx and Quincy Jones. Jamie Foxx performs Gerogia by Ray Charles. Alicia Keys puts so much emotions in her singing and you can see it, and thats hot. Wow they have the pianos up against each other and they shit was hella tight.

Nelly and Adam Sandler presents Male R&B performance. Adam Sandler always keeping it real and looking like a bum. Call my Name by Prince wins, wow.. I would think Usher woudl win it. This is soo setting the tone of certain awards. The flash by marquee goes by and Britney Spears won a Grammy for Toxic for Dance Recording. I wanted her to win that and she did. Right on!!

Bono and U2 performing with a glowing white background. That looks tight and gives a nice effect.

Rock Album, Green Day wins. Pharrell of course has to put out the Startrak. haha.. Here my pick won and stuff.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are perofmring together and singing Escapemos. People were friggin wondering what song they were singing, well if anyone picked up Marc Anthony's latest album and they would know. Jeeze. ive had this album and heard this song grips of time, no surprise here. well maybe there might be, im waiting, but they are in a bedroom scene. The other duet they had, is a great song. About a relationship where the guy doesnt deserve the girl and does everything to try to break it up or ruin it and the girl tells the guy he is crazy. ZBut when the guy reliezes she is right, she is already convinced that he was right all along. Funny huh?? No Me Ames i think its called. Which i think translate to I Wont Love You or something. My spanish is hella rusty.

Well its 9 o clock, now im switching between Despearate Housewives and the Grammys. This is going to suck.

Best New Artist goes to Maroon 5.. Like it should. Kanye West, you can tell wanted this award, but yes Maroon 5. Man, im so damn tight with my predictions. HAHA..

Green Day is performing American Idiot. Hella tight son and its hella tight performance with teh fire and such. Most of the performing woudlnt get people up and dancing and at these the song makes it seem like people will do that.

Alicia Keys wins R&B album. Shes soo fione!!! Again another pick i pick wins.

Kanye with a great perofmrance. He and his pose, haha... he hella always poses that way and its tizate!! and he wins Best Rap Album. Gotta love what he said that is true. "Nothing in life is promised except death." - Kanye West. Is that so true.. you are promised NOTHING and no one can promise you ANYTHING!

im sorry.. Boston Legal is on and yeah.. So hilarious!! Well im pretty much not watching more of the Grammys however, i gotta wait for the big awards that are left over....

Musicality: Grammy Awards 2005

Its done. I not going to worry about it anymore. what am i not worrying about? The fact that i should be at the Grammys covering it, enjoying it, talking to the likes of Usher, Kanye, Josh Groban, and sooo many other people. But whatever. Once the Grammys are over, ill be fine and will go next year. This time, i wont be waiting for someone to give me their damn drivers license number because i wanted them to go. FUCK THAT SHIET! anyways..

Ok, man i just tripped myself out. I thought Josh Groban and Beyonce was going to perform at the Grammys but its at friggin the Oscars. Speaking of Oscars. IM GOING TO MY FIRST OSCAR PARTY!! but ill talk about that in another post.

Now on to who i think is going to win the categories and what not.

Record of the Year
i have to go with Usher with Yeah. I mean what couldnt you not hear the beginning of last year? This friggin song, and also this song is what drove Confessions to hit i think over 2 million units in its first week or day or something??

Album of the Year
Now this Category is very very tough. We got Green Day, Alicia Keys, Usher, Kanye, Ray Charles. Kanye West should totally win this, but if he gets beat out it would be between Usher and Ray Charles. You just cant forget about Ray and his passing and theres the sentimental egde.

Ok, i just saw a commericial for the Grammys, and man i just have this bitter and resenting feeling. God, ok whatever. i will have at least 50 more Grammys...hopefully...

Song of the Year
I have to say The Reason by Hoobastank. This song was a great song and reminds me of certain things and people but that is besides the point. However i been here good stuff about Tim McGraw's song for his daddy. The song Live like you Were Dying. So i would say its between Hoobastank and Tim McGraw. Alicia and Kanye are also nominated but i dont think they have a real chance in this category.

Best New Artist
* Los Lonely Boys
* Maroon5
* Joss Stone
* Kanye West
* Gretchen Wilson
Wow, this is going to be very very interesting. Let me start off with that i believe Maroon 5 will win but Kayne West is nose to nose with them. Los Lonely Boys, great sound and album but not to the caliber of the other artists. Maroon 5, incredible band and cant wait to see them in tour. I really want them to win. Joss Stone who went on tour with Maroon 5, love her voice but i wouldnt think she would win against the other artist. If some of the others werent, she would totally win. Kanye, not winning at the American Music Awards was bullshit, but as best artist he can win but he will get a better award to make up for this one. Gretchen Wilson, im sorry but shes annoying and sucks. At the American Music Awards, she robbed best new artist from Kanye. thats all i gotta say about that.

Best Female Pop Vocal Performance
Dont know too much about this category. I would go for Sheryl Crow. How its a very good category with Joss Stone, Bjork, Gwen, and Norah Jones. A category with hella good female vocals. So since i dont know much, im not going to say much anymore.

Best Male Pop Vocal Performance
IM SORRY BUT I HAVE TO SAY JOSH GROBAN!!! Im not going to lie, i am hella partial. Elvis Cestello, Prince, John Mayer and Seal are up again Josh. I would say John Mayer would be a maybe because the song is a nice song but the upset will be from Prince. I have a strong feeling Prince might take it away... sadly...

Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal
* My Immortal
Evanescence
* The Reason
Hoobastank
* Heaven
Los Lonely Boys
* She Will Be Loved
Maroon5
* It's My Life
No Doubt
I love all these tracks. Great great songs. I say its between Maroon 5 or Hoobastank. Its very very close. I say Maroon 5, but i wouldnt be surprised if Hoobastank might take it away.

Best Dance Recording
* Good Luck
Basement Jaxx Featuring Lisa Kekaula
* Get Yourself High
The Chemical Brothers Featuring K-OS
* Slow
Kylie Minogue
* Comfortably Numb
Scissor Sisters
* Toxic
Britney Spears
I would want Kylee or Britney to win but the Grammys association doesnt really like them to be honest. I heard of Scissor sisters but havent heard their music. So my pick would be Chemicals brothers.

Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal
* Monkey To Man
Elvis Costello & The Imposters
* Take Me Out
Franz Ferdinand
* American Idiot
Green Day
* Somebody Told Me
The Killers
* Vertigo
U2

I would love to see Franz Ferdinand or the Killes but they wont win. Its going to be either U2 or Green Day. Green Day been getting great reviews with their album even though fans of the group from the beginning say this isnt their best. U2 with their damn iPod commericials, get the "old" people vote. However i would say its goign to be Green Day. This goes double with the Best Rock Song category.

Best Female R&B Vocal Performance
* I Want You
Janet Jackson
* If I Ain't Got You
Alicia Keys
* I'm Still In Love
Teena Marie
* Whatever
Jill Scott
* U-Haul
Angie Stone

Alicia Keys all the way. Hands down. Janet is still getting shit from the Superbowl nipplegate thing. Alicia Keys will making great music.

Best Male R&B Vocal Performance
* Charlene
Anthony Hamilton
* Happy People
R. Kelly
* What We Do Here
Brian McKnight
* Call My Name
Prince
* Burn
Usher
Of course Usher. This is the friggin anthem of all them broken hearts and broken relationships.

Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals
* Lose Your Breath
Destiny's Child
* Show Me The Way
Earth, Wind & Fire Featuring Raphael Saadiq
* Say Yes
Floetry
* Diary
Alicia Keys Featuring Tony! Toni! Toné!
* My Boo
Usher & Alicia Keys
Usher and Alicia Keys all the way. However Destiny's Child would take some votes away however, this duet with 2 superstars with the sound and everything. This will be Usher and Alicias definate 2nd Grammy of the night.

Best R&B Song
* Burn
* Call My Name
Prince
* My Boo
* Yeah!
* You Don't Know My Name
WOW, Usher has 3 songs in here and Alicia has 2. Its going to be a toss up between Burn and My Boo. Yeah is in this category but i wouldnt say its much of a R&B song. Im going to have to go with Burn.

Best R&B Album
* My Everything
Anita Baker
* I Can't Stop
Al Green
* The Diary Of Alicia Keys
Alicia Keys
* Musicology
Prince
* Beautifully Human: Words & Sounds Vol. 2
Jill Scott
Again Alicia Keys however, i think Prince has a good chance here too. But i would want Alicia Keys to win.

Best Contemporary R&B Album
* Afrodisiac
Brandy
* Damita Jo
Janet Jackson
* It's About Time
Christina Milian
* Confessions
Usher
* Hurt No More
Mario Winans
Brandy got nominated?? Jeeze. I would really want to see my girl Christina win this, however its has to go to Usher. No Doubt.

Best Rap Solo Performance
* On Fire
Lloyd Banks
* Just Lose It
Eminem
* 99 Problems
Jay-Z
* Overnight Celebrity
Twista
* Through The Wire
Kanye West
For this category, Jay Z should win, however it has to be a safer choice. So that leaves Twista and Kanye, and it has to go to Kanye.

Ok there are a lot more categories, about over 80 but im too lazy to comment on them. I touched base with the important ones. Ill talk about the winners and performances later on..

Theres always next year

Cinema: The Notebook.

This movie is featured in my featured part of my site. I been waiting to get my hands on this movie for the longest time. It looked like great movie in the Summer of 2004. However i didnt want to check it out without rolling with a chick. That summer i was way too busy to do anything.

Now, i have this movie with me and the DVD is coming out on the 8th. Rachel McAdams stars in this movie. You may remember her in Mean Girls as the head mean queen Regina. However in this movie, you see her softer side and even her acting chops.

The movie seem to jump into the main story rather abruptly. I came into thinking this movie was mainly about Noah and Allie, granted which it is. However there is a underlying story that i did not catch on until quarter into the movie. I dont want to ruin the movie for you, but when you get to that part where you relieze what was going on in the story. You cant help to take a step back and feel sad. Enough about this.

Again that went abruptly, is the relationship between Allie and Noah. They seem to fall in love with each other very quickly. Which kind of takes away from reality for a second. Then again, im sure it happens to some of us.

One part that i found rather odd. Maybe it was just me. The scene where they were going to make love for the first time as it seems. Allie, Rachel McAdams askes Ryan Gosling what he is thinking. If ever someone asked me that especially in that circumstance. I would so be turned off and fall right asleep. However then again, its somethign valid. If i loved someone like that, then i would be concerned. I dont know, a moment that seems usually to be so raw in other movies turned out to be a very sweet moment.

I think i have figured out the recipe of a love story. Boy meets girl. Girl falls for boy. Boy and Girl love each other. Boy and Girl have perfect experiences. Boy is not good enough for girl. Girl parents hate Boy. Boy and Girl break up. Girl falls for another Boy. Boy and Girl find each other again. Boy and Girl live happy. End Story.

Summer love or fun, whatever you wanna call it. Thats a nice thing, but onces it is over. You can get it back. Sucks. Anyways! I talk any more about this movie without ruin it for you. Most of you may not agree to my taste in movies. However, i do like this movie a lot. I am watching it for the second time as we speak. Its a great story of love, lost, and true love. I would recommand then movie if you like tear jerkers or have a special girl who likes tear jerkers.

Tube: The Apprentice - Trouble is Brewing

Going into this week. Watching the previews and what not, it looks like someone is goin to quit. Last week when they were doin the renovations of the hotels and what not. Verna couldnt handle it and bitched bitched and bitched. I am predicting right now that she is the one that is going to "quit" Its 9:01 and we shall see...

Ok, its 9:03 and she is still bitching and moaning. Give me a fuckin break. However, Danny is a nice guy and backing her up and what not, but im not too sure about her anyways.

Thinking about it now, she could be playing this game. Get some sympathy, she how she can do, and just not get fired.

9:06. SHE IS GONE!!! PEACE OUT!!! I WONDER HOW SHE GOT ON THE SHOW ANYWAYS!! DEAD WEIGHT! FUCKIN DEAD WEIGHT!

Creating marketing campaign with 75000 for Nefcafe Taster's Choice... Sounds fun! I wanna handle that much money doing something. Oh wait.. I already kinda do. HAHA!

Danny is Magnacorp's project manager. Mike with the European idea, and no one liked it. I would say its a decent idea.

Net Worth is going with the All American Theme. Angie is their project manager. Shes a little crazy and gonna be way way bitchy. Right off the bat, i think Net Worth is gonna bite it. Well acutally both team is gonna have trouble in each. I mean the episode name is Trouble is Brewing. Which plays on some words.

Sidenote, Stephanie on Magnacorp is fione!! YUM YUM!

iPod idea is hella tight for Magnacorp! I friggin got 2 iPods when i was in NYC because i always wanted to and dude like everyone did have an iPod. I love NYC life, walking everywhere, enjoying a drink, the people.. I miss NYC!!!!!

At first i thought Net Corp idea kinda sucked. But it looked hella fun, and looked hella nice. I take it back. Man, 10gs, that would be hella nice.

WAIT WAIT!! Theres a black guy on the show?? Dude, havent really noticed him at all. Just caught a glimpse of him at the line up to see who will win.

9:31, i agree is the decision. It was a great great idea! Loved it.

Award of the task. 12 seater helicopter. Around Manhattan. I am going to do that one day, that and Vegas and Mani. Love it!!

9:39. looks like Magnacorp is going to try to see if they can have Donald Trump overturn Mikes exemption. Which is dearly needed because he was an ass the whole task. But to be fair, it shouldnt has happen.

Danny, Stephanie, and Mike are in the boardroom. Useless blabble. Mike shouldnt be in there. Well i mean he should but theres friggin rules and such.

I dont know what else happened. I switched over to Ashlee Show because i missed it and such.. so yeah? Next week? someone tell me whats up.

Starbucks anyone??
