Insert Pirate Cliche here..

On May 31st, the world's largest site that provides tracker links for media, .The Pirate Bay was taken offline. A tracker for bittorrent programs is like a map and hence the word tracker. A click on a link that is posted on a bittorrent tracker site and it links you to other peers who are downloading and sharing the file. The actual sites do not have any actual music or movies located anywhere on their servers. The reason why Napster in its hay day was easily taken down was the fact Napster servers were hosting music files.

In the press release released by MPAA, they seem pretty ecstatic that they are following the very reason why Americans are hated aboard. We enforced our beliefs and laws on countries out of our authority and bitch and moan until we get what we want. Awesome!!

However, I believe the site will be back up again. The site that has been shut down with a notice explaining the situation also states they will be back up in a few days. In the MPAA release, they also state how the Pirate Bay posted up cease-and desist letters where the site made fun of various companies (Microsoft, Warner Bros, EA) with their responses. I have read a few of these and they are quite funny. In one of the letters, the lawyer representing a company even admitted that he had no power since copyright laws in the USA does not apply all over the world especially in Sweden, where the Pirate Bay servers are located.

Basically the MPAA is gloating about the take down and is presenting incorrect facts. They are claiming banner ads on the site are profiting the administrators to the site where I am sure they are and the argument is that they are doing this by illegal operations. However as far as I know its not illegal to host simple links. You also have to keep in mind that current copyright laws pertaining to digital media is not cut and dry or even logical. Recently the people behind the Digital Millennium Copyright Act deemed ripping music off CDs and putting it on your computer or digital device is illegal. The whole debate that President Bush broke this law when it was shown he had Beatles music on his iPod. Currently the Beatles catalog cannot be purchased anywhere such as iTunes, Rhapsphy and so on. Basically our president broke the law…. Again.. but funny how it was changed it is legal now TO RIP YOUR OWN MUSIC. When dealing with the internet and technology, things are never cut and dry and will never be if we have state representatives pushing 80 and not know what an iPod is.

It will be pretty funny when the site is back up and running. What will also be a stinger is that if the Pirates Bay is deemed legal in Sweden, the government will have to compensate the site with damages...

No Comment... if i use tracker sites.... :P

The Sidekick III finally...?

With much rumored news and such. This isnt confirmed but it looks like the 4th verision of the phone is coming out towards the end of June with the release party a few days before the release. Get ready to jump on the band wagon soon!!

Update:A new release date of July 10th is slated and recieved from a very good source. Also it appears that T-Mobile has discontinue sell of the Sidekick II. At least that somewhat confirms the release but not the actual date.

I spoke to a media rep from T-Mobile and she states nothing. No surprise. She cant confirm the rumors or anything. So who knows? The picture is something nice to look at.

The New Ipod....??

The iPod... one of the trendiest thing EVER these pass couple of years next to pogs.. Remember them pogs?? Back to the iPod, after only a few years it has been one of the most advance devices we use in our daily lives. From something that use to resemble a white brick to not being bigger than a pack of cards to barely as big as a match box gum cases. While the casing gets smaller and the viewable screen gets bigger and adds the color.

Anywho, you may be wondering how this device can get better. What can Apple do to advance this product besides the usual capicity, black and white versions, longer battery life or bigger screen. Well here are some photos of a patent submission Apple sent on in. I heard about the idea a few weeks ago and it looks like a go. A touch screen ipod with its touch wheel that can be brought up anywhere on the screen AND the screen is possible to be viewed in wide screen. The widescreen will accomidate people ripping DVDS onto their iPod and not sure if the iTunes store offers widescreen format of the shows they have for sell. It also looks like iTunes is embedded into the new iPod. Anyways, here are the patent photos.. You be the judge... Im sure ill be getting one!!

Problem I found with the second image is that it makes it somewhat of a 2 handed iPod. The current iPods pretty much takes only one hand and a thumb. Looking at these photos, looks like there might be 2 new different iPods. The usual one hand one with a touch screen and the wide screen special video one. Is Apple releasing both? or one? Who knows.. Give it sometime and well see the next iPod craze!!!

With all the Apple advancements, why they charging 49 bucks to listen to radio??

Holiday Madness!!

Ran across this online, saw it on the news, and even on the Ellen Degeneres show. Totally sucks for the neighbors, but i mean cmon its the holidays and you gotta get into it.

It took Carson Williams, an electrical engineer of Deerfield, Ohio two months and $10,000 to sync up 25,000 lights by his computer with the songs played over car radios. He does 3 songs which are "A Frosty Song, "God Bless the USA" and "Wizards of Winter" by TransSiberian Orchestra.

The crazy show has been up since the week of Thanksgiving, however the internet i.e. my site is the only place to find the show now. Just recently there has been an accident between 2 cars with no injurys that shut down the show. Talk about some rubberneckers or the minor few that ruins things for other people.

Below are 2 of the 3 songs/videos. Enjoy and share it around and bring some cheer. Click to view or right click to save.

A Frosty Song | Wizards of Winter

This would be one awesome effect at a Rave

Use your Right side of your Brain... Music Lovers.

Ran across this and thought it was pretty fun to do. Looks like its a photo by Virgin and it may look like a crazy circus but theres a method to the madness. In the photo are 75 bands, however its not photos of them but images that represent the name of the band. Here are some examples... Just look in the sky, you see 2 jets and gorillas. Obviously to me, the 2 jets represent The Jets and the primates, The Gorillaz. Click on the picture to get the full size blown up and i will have a results page of the ones i have found. ENJOY!!!

TROJANS!!! UNDEFEATED!!

UCLA vs USC football game today!! I had access to go to the game and sit with the UCLA Alumni folks. Tickets were going for 150 each and i really wanted to go. I really wanted to tailgate that sucker to. As i think of it, Christmas is coming around and my funds are limited. Plus i was rooting for the Trojans and not the Bruins. If i were to be in the alumni section, i would have to respect them. So i was screwed either way. Watching the game, i would have been happy and not able to show it. Finaly score 66 to 19. Yeah, sad sad slaughtering game.

Dane Cook on Saturday Night Live. What i worry about his hosting appearance on the show was true. I didnt think it was that funny. Then again i didnt see every skit, but from what I saw wasnt all that great. Im sorry Dane, you are the man. But i see Saturday Night Live more of celebrities makign fun of themselves. However i will watch the show over, and maybe recant my opinion after seeing the whole thing.

Dane Cook and USC rules!!

The Los Angeles sessions took place at The Village, the same studio where Clapton recorded the original.

Sharon says, "The magnitude of these natural disasters surpasses anything we've seen in our lifetime. With this single and other relief efforts, our intent is to keep these tragedies in the forefront of everyone's minds. We must not forget and do all we can to help these people rebuild their lives." Kristin Cavallari... Laguna Beach's Mean Girl..

Laguna Beach.. The "Real" O.C. A show that "documents" the happenings of the rich and beautiful teens of this beach community. I was anti this show for the longest time due to my loyalty to The O.C. The uber drama, overly drama i should say, on FOX. After the first season has passed, with my dislike, and with every fiber in my being going against it. I finally gave in, watched a few reruns and eventually brought the DVD, and got really into it. Caught up in time for the premiere of the second season. I mean im not going to lie.. i love drama. Cmon i pretty much watch over half of the shows on the WB... Everyone knows already my life is full of it, so its nice to have my drama on the back burner and to watch a very very very well cut show, showing the intensity of drama on Laguna Beach.

Ok ok now.. Back to the matter on hand.. Kristin.. The resident heart breaker and hook up queen of Laguna Beach is featured on Rolling Stone's Hot List. Miss Cavallari is Top Hot Reality girl. The articles goes in on the background on her and such. I guess it would be interesting for people who are obsessed with the show.. As i know a few people who are.. Obsessed enough to go to some club in Orange County just because it was promoted to have the cast of the show to appear. Of course, all the lame people attended that event and of course didnt see no one!! Its quite funny but just another tangent.

However i did learn a few things... Kristin does not attended USC like she states in an episode, however in the article it just states that she is only taking one class at her oceanfront Catholic University. What school would this be?? LMU.. Loyola Maramount University in Marina Del Ray pretty much Santa Monica. My friend attends there and have heard she is there. I dont know why Rolling Stone doest say which University, but its the one. Something i learn from this.. Looks like shes of Catholic religion... We all know from watching the show, she doesnt seem to practice it much, then again maybe its not even her religion, since her dad is a Buddhist. But man, only one class at a private University.. Must be the life..

After her Land Rover debacle in season one, after car shopping for a new car with her crush Sam. Looks like what daddy Cavallari protested... she will have the beat up car for 4 more years.. She rolling around in a BMW SUV.. Ashlee Simpson style.. Im totally in love with this car because its pretty kinda different for BMW.. Anywho.. Her best friend Alex is rooming with her, we learn she was planning to attend Santa Monica City. Compared to her friends.. Kristin who had aspirations to attend USC, however attending LMU now. Miss Kristin is a bright chick, being involved with the Associated Student Body.. A friend i know who seen and met her at a ASB gathering.

Oh not from the article, however i learned.. If you followed the show, remember the guy Kristin was talking to? Matt?? The whole deal that she wasnt really with Stephen and got with that Matt dude. Well this Matt guy isnt so random. He obtained her number somehow and they were hanging out. This Matt? Was Matt Leinart, USC Quarter Back and Heisman Trophy winner. She claims that he got a big head after the whole thing and pretty they stopped talking. I found that pretty interesting..

OH!! a big thing i learned that was soo interesting!! Talan... the pimp of Laguna Beach.. He dated LINDSAY LOHAN!!!! Man.. I bow down to this guy.. Hes totally like this sensitive dude to Taylor which i can relate, but he knows to say fawk it... and still.. Gets the Lohan booty.. However, the episode coming up about prom.. Wow.. From what i saw.. He went all out dressing up in a tux, red balloons and everything in his garage with Kristin opening it up revealing him. Wow.. this dude is a hopeless romantic.. something i like to call myself most of the time... Trust me.. Way too hopeless if you ask me.. OH! Looks like hes a Ryan Cabrera fan.. He attended a taping of his television show "Score" debuting on MTV sometime this month. Anyways.. Heres the excerpt...

"She starts crying, going 'Aaargh!' and slams a glass on the table," Kristin dishes. "I was like, 'Are you kidding me right now?' Talan had to tell her to leave."

Well wait.. Before that quote.. Let me set it up.. Kristin is sleeping in his bed fully clothed, and as far as i know Talan wasnt with her. Lindsay sees this and like any girl.. well a girl who tries to size up another girl.. Gets jeolous and angry.. Who knew?? Haha.. Girls are vicious when it comes to their men or boys or whatever!! Funny stuff...

A few little tidbits.. Stephen... Looks like hes living in Los Angeles, somewhere around Kristin and is trying to be an actor. Big surprise there? Hes taking acting classes and what not. He does have that "look" to be a star, however his build and his height isnt on his side. The questio nis wheres Lauren?? aka as LC?? It looked like she was moving to Los Angeles also, however not very much of a mention of her, then again its an article on Kristin.

The article was informative.. Learn lots. Its always nice to read about things that interest you, and i LOVE knowing the dirty tidbits not normally known to the public.. Thats why i love being a journalist. Pick up your copy of Rolling Stone to read the whole article.. Its not too too interesting for a nonfan, however to a fan.. Might be a good read.. I did cover most of the points.. The article pretty much just plays like the show.... just in words... and less skin....

Hmm... Maybe Disney is soo innocent as it seems...

If you ever wanted to know the true meanings of movies. Take a American Cinema class. So im finally back to school and decided to take another Art class since it meets the requirements for attending UCLA or USC. I have already taking a music class, History of Rock Music. Totally loved that class.

Anywho, so im taking this class, American Cinema.. The first class i attended, we talked about Wizard of Oz. It may seem to be just a movie about this little girl who gets whisk away to this magical land who’s trying to get back home. Meets a lion, tin man, and a scarecrow. I can’t recall however it was about the characteristics of a political party. How the 2 witches represent an industrial industry against a non industrial one. However everything represents something on a political level as many movies do. However there is somewhat of a religious aspect to it. Saying how what you are missing, you need to go to this "God" to give it to you. By the time you get there, its just some man behind it. Then says tells you that whatever you need is in you all along. The problem with this is that the movie speaks to children. Not 100 percent sure what was told, it’s very broken what im saying here. It made me recall something someone told me that her dad says that Lord of the Rings has many things reflecting on God and the Bible and such. I would love to hear it. Seems like certain movies has a obvious meaning, then theres the political and religious symbolism.

Another thing I learned was the stuff about Monsters. Prime example given was King Kong. A movie about a giant gorilla brought back to America to be on display. Kong breaks free and gets the blonde hair beauty, climbs up the Empire State building and gets shot down. End of movie. However the Gorilla represents the Black Man. Kong was brought back to America on a boat in shackles as did slaves. Kong took the blonde beauty white girl which means represents a black man doing it. Climbing up the Empire State Building to the top and not looking back. Once you get what you want you have to climb and climb to the highest point. However, once you get up there. You will get shot down. In the famous quote" Its beauty that killed the beast." No the airplanes with the gun didn’t kill Kong, it was the acquiring blonde haired white girl.

Other things discussed...Vampires represent Jews. Vampires are of a higher class, very articulate and with money. They suck your blood and turn you into one of them. The way to kill an vampire is a Christian cross.. Cross of anything. As you can see, Jewish people stereotypically have money. Sucking your blood.. Your lively hood, your money. Don’t get close to one or they will turn you into one of them. Jews are also known as devilish people, and so only thing to kill them is a cross. Learning so much in this class, its just so interesting and kind of scary to see how movies can represent so many things besides the obvious.

Now.. watched Citizen Kane. A movie about Charlie Kane who has died, and before he croaked he says "Rosebud." It proceeds with a flashback of his life and brings it back to the present of someone trying to figure out what "Rosebud" meant. The only time you see Kane say Rosebud was when his second life left him and he’s going all mad and destroying a room. He stops at a snow globe and chants out Rosebud. At the very end of the movie, they are burning his processions and they throw in a sled into the fire which said Rosebud. I came to the conclusion that Rosebud was symbolic of his childhood. The childhood he lost when his mom sold him off. Before he was taken away, he was in the snow with his sled and was pretty happy. However.. My professor before we finished class.. He told us he was going to explain that "Rosebud" means Booty Call. Yes... i was shocked as much as everyone else in the class. This is going to be very very interesting.. So i kind of can’t wait to be informed on how one of the greatest films ever made can be summed down to a sexual calling between two people....

Hook it up with some "Rosebud." :p

Pimping all over the WORLD!.. j/k

I ran across this pretty nifty tool. Its a map that uses Google Map to track where your visitors are coming from. I inputed a simple code this site, and if you visit my site it will be recorded. A hour later, a pin will show up on the map and state where you are coming from.

I opt for the adfree version that allows me to keep track of the last 100 visitors. Below is a screen shot of my map Saturday September 3rd, 2005 around 4:30 Pacific time.

Funny thing, i have a lot of random visitors from all over the world. I would think most of them would be around Rancho Cucamonga and Los Angeles.

Click HERE to check out the map in real time and see if your city shows up...

Thanks for all the support guys!!

Google Strikes again..

Google evenyone's favorite browser to search for legal sorts such as your favorite singer, actor or researching things to school to the illegal sorts of downloading mp3s, downloading movies, pretty much downloading anything. You may also want to know that job employeers and even your college admissions officer may even try a Google of you. However you can also commit the most violating and illegal act you can do, identity theft.

You may or may not know, but Google has functionalty of searching for images, news, deals, their own email client GMAIL and even their new feature Google Maps. But what you might not know is that you can search for phone numbers. Yes phone numbers. If you put in a phone number, you can get a a result of an address and they will even map it out for you and give you directions to that very phone number. I have tried this and right now it looks like its land line phone numbers. So you might want to think twice about giving out your house number if you think the person you are giving it to is a little effiy. Go ahead and Google your number..

Test your Typing Speed.

I know its hella random, thats why its under that category but i need to finally figure out what my typing speed is one and for all. I scored only 88 words per minute which is pretty decent on one sentence Better than around 50 what i thought before. I tried it again and got 102 on another sentence. Once again then got 109. I am just gonna go with the concusion that i type really fast.. Test your speed here..

Hit me up on the 2 way yo!

Its that time of the year. My contract is up on my cell phones, and its time to get another one. Cingular gives me a discount, the same discount they give to new customers which is a good thing. T Mobile who is hella wack doesnt give you any good deal at all and rebates here and there but i dont know. I really want the sidekick II
i been wanting it before it came out, i wished i got the special deal they gave to customers. Anyways at the moment its 320 dollars which is pretty steep for me at the moment. However i need to get it soon because im going back to work in Los Angeles doing my events, and its all about your clothes and what you own and shit. So yeah, i gotta hang with my peers. I've had the Sidekick I for over a year and yeah. So once i get the Sidekick II and you have T-Mobile and want the Sidekick I, ill give it to ya for 50 or 100 bucks or whatever.

Cingular, i wanted this phone. the Sony Ericsson Z500a. It has a camera with a 4x zoom and a VGA Video Camera. Its a flip phone also and i assume it has bluetooth. Why do i need Bluetooth? I dont really need it but where my house is located. I have horrible reception so i use my bluetooth headset to talk and its wireless and its just better to talk on especially when i use it for hours. I was about to buy the phone today. I went to the Cingular store and they didnt let me get it because i wasnt an authorized user on the account because its under my dad and my credit sucks balls and yeah. Good thing they didnt, i assumed it had bluetooth and i was told it had it, so i would have made a purchase i dont think i could have returned. The price is a steal however, 50 bucks after rebate. That hella nice for a phone that retails for about 180.

However i came across another phone, this one is hella sweet. 1.3 megapixel phone and other stuff and looks nice, but its too bulky, and with my sidekick. Thats not goin to be a nice thing. so i might have to just settle for the Z500a, its said to have good reception, so maybe i can chill with that or something. Ill switch phones when i needa get up on the Bluetooth. I dont want be to spending more on a phone with Cingular since i dont use much of their service. I doing a hella good job saving my money huh??

I love my effin toys
