Wow.. Talk about a hiatus
Friday August 3rd, 2007

Ok ok I know.. It has been effin long as heck. My excuse? Been way way too hella busy. Why am I getting back to it now? Partly theres a fatty scholarship out there going to someone who can pull of a tight blog. i.e. me.. It is the exactly kick in the butt that I need to get back into blogging and getting people back here..
Now I do not know where to start with this blog again and I have so much to ramble about. I will track to back track to events I did a few months prior. I couple red carpets, concerts and you know the usual.. for those who used to read this thing.
I guess the main focus of this comeback post will have to do with school I suppose. So I basically got accepted to every school I applied to besides USC. USC was really where I wanted to go to, but I would have had to take a handful of more classes and I am ready for a major change. The last couple of semesters I have gotten 4.0 and straight A's averaging about 17 units per. So yeah.. I decided to go to UCLA. I was hella surprised when I received the email saying I was accepted. It hit me for a split second, the excitement that is, but I was deflated after I remember I had three more classes to finish. If I kept the schedule I had in the Spring, with 24 units, I would not have to take them in the summer. I am saying this now as I have only one more week left and will be passing the classes. Anyways.. Let's get into the meat of this post... Orientation... Oh sidenote.. I didn't get parking.. BOO.. That is going to change my preference of where to live.
I had orientation last Friday on the 3rd of August. It began at 7:45am to 9pm, I was looking forward to it and not at the same time. I wanted to make sure all my questions were answered along with picking out my classes. I was not a fan of the early morning especially driving into the city with all the traffic. If I planned better, I would have had a hotel at a pretty good discount weeks in advance but when you use the family and friends rate, you need to plan at least 3 weeks in advance. That I did not do.
That night I was up until 2am and woke up at 5:30am and headed my way on over there. The traffic wasn't too bad until I hit the 10. It was not horrible since I was just loving the drive and the music all together. Got into Westwood and had to figure out where I was suppose to park. There was absolutely no signs pointing to parking anywhere!! I would think it be planned a little bit better but whatever. No biggie parking, hopping out of the car and asking around. I would have been pissed if I got a parking ticket.. parking tickets in Los Angles as far as I know run like 45 bucks. That is crazy!!
Eventually found the where I had to park and took another 30 mins to find Royce Hall. I been there for a Jethro Tull concert but man its a lot different being dead center on campus and being all intimated by all the awesome buildings. I get to the check in and there I am sweating my ass off. I can feel the sweat bead off the back of my neck onto my back. It was bad.. this is what i get for wearing a blazer and shirt. I mean it was still pretty cold out but all that walking does not result in a dry Anh.
There I had to walk to another building that I forgot the name to, Kerchoff to pick up my Bruin card. A few weeks ago I sent in the photo to have my card made but the resolution of the photo was too small. This is what I get for taking the photo myself and having someone at Ritz camera handle it and print it out. When that was rejected, I had to go back and make some adjustments and the chick behind the counter was being a dick on how I had to pay 15 bucks for the print. First of all they didn't take the photo, second I handle it myself and you're not going to charge me 15 bucks for something you normally charge 24 cents for a 4x6. I had some drama with the Bruin card again, something about not sending in my terms and conditions but I guess they figured it out..
Headed off to some other place.. Man I need to learn the names of the places.. sat and listened to orientation.. Basically dont cheat.. drink much.. and some other stuff. Met up with my student adviser. Handled some stuff.. Eat.. Got like 8 bucks on the Bruincard.. Had a pretty bomb salad.. The chick in front of me acted like the cooks were stupid. She told them like no cheese or something but they were working on my salad and she repeated to them. Unno. Thats what gets people to spit in your food. Ate.. Met the other people in my major and orientation. Headed off to some other building. Killed like 3 hours in there before I talked to my adviser. Missed some workshops.. Dont remember much.. Headed to dinner in one of the halls. I was on my diet.. well lifestyle change of being better, so had a salad and chicken soup.. Left to register for classes in the very nice orientation person's summer apartment. So nice! I kinda want to be an advisor. Signed up for 2 Philosophy classes and an Accounting course. Thats about it and left and went home. Waited with this chick for her ride. Im way too nice..

San Diego Street Scene Day One
August 4th, 2006

San Diego Street Scene.. I missed out on the event last year and wanted to see what it is all about.. The drive down wasn't too bad since I wasn't the one driving. The parking wasn't a big deal either. When I entered into the festival area around the perimeter of the Qualcomm Stadium, Yellowcard was on stage and they are some pretty good performers. I say that's saying a lot since I was about 1000 feet away from the stage or more. It was far but the music was loud enough to hear. After checking them out a little and made my way to the other main stage to see who was on.
The hike to the other side was crazy far. The first stage from he Captain Morgan stage, where Yellowcard was performing, was the Inferno stage. Every so often blast of fire would shoot into the air. You could feel the heat from quite a distance from the stage. On that stage were random dancing chicks with hula hoops with black lights illuminating the
paint they had on them.

There was a Captain Morgan tent with people leaving it with pirate foam hats. I wanted to check it out but my driver was 21. Oh well.
The place didn't really look that crowded at all but then again I think this is the second year they had it at this larger venue.
Slightly Stoopid, which sounded like Sublime were at the other main stage. I checked them out a little and waited for Wu-Tang. As I went to the front of the pit area and waited for Wu-Tang to start. The stage was pretty damn high. I think it was about 7 feet up and kinda would be hard to shoot if someone on stage isn't at the edge. That sucked. I am not a fan of Wu-Tang, but I knew I was going to be leaving Rock the Bells early, so I figure to get my shots now.
After shooting the first couple songs, I went back to the Yellowcard stage to see AFI. The whole time I was at the Wu-Tang Clan stage, it stated that AFI was getting on at at 10:46. That time was 30 minutes early and kinda ran into the Kanye West set time.

The photographers in the pit were getting warned that if the crowd got crazy, that the guards would kick us out. Well let’s hope that doesn’t happen but that the power of the AFI fans. The show started with “Prelude 1221.” Davey Havok came out in all white looking dolled up with fake lashes, pink eye shadow and lots of make up. I knew once I heard the first song I want to see them in an unstressed situation. It’s really hard to enjoy anything when you are worried about getting a shot.
I ran off to the Kanye West stage since he was getting on at 10:45. He had the orchestra set up with I think maybe 7 violinist? I couldn’t see everyone. I was excited to see him but I was whatever’s after he came out. I really wanted to get back to AFI. I hung around a little bit to listen to his songs and left. Listened to AFI a little bit more and left there. I didn’t to deal with people leaving and I had to get back to Rancho for something. Made it back in good time. I missed Snoop Dogg, and few other people on Saturday but I will be stuck at Rock the Bells all day.
Kiss my eyes and lay me to sleep.

Interscope BET Awards Afterparty
June 27th, 2006
Bottomline.. It was at Club 750 or something. It used to be a rave club a few years back called Orion. Place was packed and when I got there, the place was overcapacity and they were not letting other people in. Why we were late? 2 chicks getting ready.. Wow… Seriously.. Waited around for one and a half hours and that was that. So if anyone knows how it was, fill in buddy in. I was told Pharrell was performing or something. I don’t know.. Oh well. Learned my lesson..
Oh had another interesting texting conversation. And if you read the Opening Night post you know who and why.. Yeah.. sucks..

BET Awards Media Day
June 26th, 2006
Nothing much to say really... Arrived at the Shrine Auditorium around 10ish, and checked in, got my picture taken and my badge. I waited for the media room door to open and after standing around for 30 minutes in the dry heat, the door opens. Went in and got my stuff checked and walked through the metal detectors, don’t want a Vibe awards incident again.
I had to double check if I had access to the red carpet tomorrow at actual event but no one knew who I had to talk to. After explaining my story to about 4 people, I was in contact with someone who was in charge of everything but she couldn’t help me. Basically said we will see what happens later or tomorrow.
Sat in the media room for I think nearly two hours and no one even came out to do interviews or to give some photo opts. Looking at the schedule, the only people I would want to do anything with were Ne-yo and Rihanna. I talked it up with some of the other reporters and photographers, but other than that it was just a waiting game. I ended up leaving, and that’s that. Maybe it will be different tomorrow.. Maybe..
I should have stayed but class was calling

Electric Daisy Carnival 2006
June 24th, 2006

I went two years ago and wow it sucked. The venue is kinda dirty and you spend half of your time playing how many water bottles can you kick walking 10 feet. I say about 20 was for me. Yes, its that bad.
I had some trouble receiving my tickets and the power crazed ticket lady didn’t help. Once I received my tickets after midnight, went on into the venue and wow. I visited Sean’s booth, selling his water and it looked nonstop.

Walked around all over the place and the airport hanger with the Drum and Bass was way way too loud.
I checked out the Trance room and saw Christopher Lawrence. He was pretty tight but it’s hard to enjoy the music when you have a 5 pound camera with you. Shot him and waited for Ferry Corsten. He was the last one to DJ for the night until 4am. Fun fun. Shot him and hung around a little bit and left.
Raves!! HURRAY!!

Opening Night 2006
June 23rd, 2006

Opening night at the Hollywood Bowl.. The summer kick off of the season at the bowl.. Hands down I say the best night of the summer.. Last year was awesome and of course this year will be the same.. The special guests this year were the Blue Man Group, Santana, and Andre Watts. Santana and Andre Watts were being inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame..
Getting lost sucks.. I know how to get to the Bowl but I wanted to try a different route, a somewhat faster route. This route, taking the 5 freeway off of the 134, coming in behind Hollywood is usually faster from my past experience. None of which I experienced on my own. I took this route and ended up pretty back passing the where I was suppose to go and coming back around. I did noticed the Quioxte Studios, the one where that one chick from The Hills works at or whatever.. How nice...
After hitting the 110 to get back onto the 101.. Exited Santa Monica, and noticed my first, actually my first and second glimpses of Trannys in Hollywood.. I’ve gone up and down Sunset in West Hollywood and never saw any, but I was in NoHo and they were out tonight!
I went along my way to the bowl.. There is something about the streets in Hollywood. It’s totally friggin opposite.. I believe that if you’re not a local, its really hard to figure directions of streets compared to the way the freeway moves.. Again got lost, and eventually figured my way there exiting Highland and coming around the bowl.. I went into my parking lot place where my parking pass was. Parked and you gotta love the stacked parking. Pretty much you are on someone’s ass, don’t try leaving early and don’t try leaving ASAP after the event is over. I am not sure but I think the Bowl seats 40,000 people so figure that in cars and it’s a lot...
Headed off my way to the West Gate check-in, the red carpet stuff was already done.. I wonder who the special guests are for tonight.. Soon I will find out and I hope I didn’t miss the chance to shoot someone.. I picked up my tickets and tried to get another one since there was another with us but it was a sold out night..
I went into the place to check out our seats and guess what.. There were people in our seats.. They were friggin box seats. This would be the closest I’ve ever sat at the Bowl and kinda freaking out.. These box seats are where the rich people come early and have dinner. Drink their expensive wines, eat thei cheese and what not.. Back to the problem at hand.. People were sitting in the seats that were on my tickets, the group said they were assigned there but didn’t have tickets.. In my mind I didn’t care because I had someone outside waiting to come in.. Adriana was then seating in another box and I went back to the gate to get Troy.. Maybe I could bring him in and that would be that. I said screw it and spoke to someone where my 2 box seats were traded in for crappy bench seats.. Oh well.. Either 2 awesome seats with one missing buddy or 3 crappy seats with the group together.. And that we settled for that..
John C. Riley was performing and he has a pretty awesome voice.. Andre Watts; James Spader introduced him out and I was kicking myself.. I missed a chance to shoot him awhile back and again this time.. He plays one of my favorite characters on Boston Legal and blah!! Watts is such a awesome piano player... It was amazing to see how fast this guys fingers and hands move.. Gotta find his CD somewhere if he has one and listen to it.. Intermission..
All throughout the first half of the night, I was thinking we should make our way back to the box seats.. We could just sit where were put after we found those people in our seats. However, when i went back to get Troy and tried to find out where our seats were.. I didn’t know where I was and an usher was eye balling me. I had to explain to him the situation and he couldn’t get in his head that our new tickets didn’t match where we were going.. Whatever...
Right when intermission started, we went back to those seats.. The group that was there moved right next to the box where we were moved.. No one was there, asked them and no one sat there. Looks like we found our new seats.. I conversed with the couple sitting next to us. I totally forgot her name but she was a sweetheart, she’s a radio personality for a radio station out in Pasadena. Very fun to talk to.. In the front of my head, I was worried someone would suddenly show up to take over the box.. I tend to stress out about little things like that and what not but oh well... What I found interesting is that she asked where i go to school and she said she knew of the school and said it was a good school... That surprised me because I wouldn’t think it was all that great of a school but hey an outsider knew about it and that works for me...
The group in the box in front of me to the left, one of the ladies had a huge staring problem.. Like one of those snobby glares where you can see that she disapproves of you. I was like what the fuck is this chick looking at? Just sip your wine, enjoy the stars and look at something else.. sheesh..
I couldn’t believe that I was dead in the middle of the Bowl and when I look back, literally there is over 35,000 behind you.. Its amazing.. When you look up, you see the two spotlights shining to a point in the sky.. Just amazing.. Now... While I am sitting here taking everything in.. It brings me back to the last time I am here... Sondheim’s 75th... I didn’t have as great of seats but it didn’t matter because the person I was with was the best part of the whole night... Never mind meeting, talking, and interviewing Josh Groban.. But the person I was with.. WOW.. I still sorta remember it, our funny conversations about where dudes and chicks store their heat, why one side of the bowl seems to cater to the better off audience.. cough left side.. and then the more common man.. hint right side.. Ehh.. Anyways.. I thought I would shoot her a text and that was that.. Kinda sorta wished she was here but oh well.. If anyone knows anything about me.. I hate small talk and blahs!!
The intermission is over.. They had put out this PVC pipe mallets instrument and it was a dead giveaway of Blue Man Group next.. I’ve never seen them perform before and thought it would be cool to see tonight.. Their first act was these three drum barrels with 3 colors of paint and the middle blue man banging on them squirting the colors into the air. Fun and cool to see. Next... a throw and catch of paint balls and marshmallows.. One blue man would throw a paint ball into the air and one would catch it with his mouth.. Then spit out the color on to a canvas.. The other would catch marshmallows and he caught over 20 of them suckers.. It was pretty amazing and none fell on the floor.. Lastly the final PVC pipe mallets thingy with the orchestra and that would cool to listen to. The PVC pipe put out an unique sound..
Now for the final act.. Santana... George Lopez came out to induce Santana but not without cracking some jokes.. Lopez has some shows at the Gibson in December and I wasn’t interested in seeing him since I saw him last year.. After his jokes about immigration and the rich white people in the front.. I kinda wanted to see him and see his new stuff..
Santana was awesome to see.. the first song was sung with Jublient Skyes.. Semi We are the World political song.. The two others I haven’t heard but oh well..
Opening Night always ends with Fireworks.. Gotta love the fireworks.. Especially when its played along the LA Philharmonic.. There was this Phoniex lighted up prop on top of the Bowl..
Now to file out of the place and get to the car.. As I was filing out.. and decided to take another route of the place.. This older dude bumped into me on purpose and said where do you think you’re going. Wow.. I was going to cuss this dude out for being stupid and hella rude.. Seriously.. Why don’t you worry about yourself instead of worrying about others..
Took us about 45 mins for people to siphon out of the parking lot I was in.. and on the way back home.. Hurray..
I love the Hollywood Bowl

Malibu's Most Wanted
February 25th, 2006

Going to keep this post pretty short and sweet since there isnt really much to blog about.. Ill just go and do an outline the happenings of a field trip to Point Dume in Malibu, California.
- Headed off to campus and the bus was about 45 minutes late. Hurray!
- The drive wasnt too bad and it was pretty interesting to see were Malibu actually was.
- Minor hkiing, and it was a nice view.
- Group of surfers and their buddies on the bus were hella annoying.
- Pretty much didnt do crap but sit on the beach and hung out. My group ddnt do shit that is.
- Noticed a RV and clothing outside and assumed it was a photoshoot, and did more research and it was a Seventeen photoshoot.
- The chick came out to shoot, and couldnt really reconigze her but she was wearing vintage swim suits.
- After more staring, it was Emma Rossem from Day After Tomorrow and Phantom of the Opera.
- The shoot moved around us, and at one point they asked my buddy Vince if he wanted to be apart of it per request of Emma herself..
- Talked to the other players, make up, and hair. Paul Starr was the make up dude, and chatted with him.
- The others were all hyped up by it, I was just whatevers.
- Pretty much it, highlight of the trip, met Miss Rossem. The magazine will be out in May for the June issue.
- Funny incident, the bus was late taking us home half of the people had to go to the restroom but our professor didnt allow us to stop. My buddy Jon ended up peeing in a water bottle and the other chick from our group was offering the driver 200 bucks. Funny stuff
- Wouldnt mind going back to hang out, but theres no boardwalk but the Santa Monica pier is pretty close.
There much more little things that happen in between the bullets but an outline version is plenty. If you have a chance to get out there, check out Point Dume. It has a tidepool and a pretty awesome hike. When I was there, people were rock climbing by the beach. That would be a fun activity to do while there.
Check out my buddy with Emma in June Seventeen magazine on the surfboard

Beautiful Eyes, Sake, and Kobe Beef.. oh and a view to die for...
Thursday January 19th, 2006

After a crazy first week of school, a sigh of relief is here. Ilene's going back to New York dinner at Yamashiro in Hollywood. I haven’t seen her in ages and every time i see her, she gets more and more beautiful. I don’t know what it is, but in my experience, the girls i know that are half Spanish and half Korean are simply and amazingly beautiful. I think the more random you get in the mixes, the better the results. The top result of the mixture is most definitely the eyes. Oh the damn eyes. Anyways!
Met up at Leslies after picking up her brother. Ilene was meeting us up there and off to Leslie's mother workplace to meet and leave to Hollywood. Of course things are never go accordingly to MY PLANS. I like to say im easy going and which i am, but certain things i just like to follow a schedule. Pretty much off schedule since i was wanting to leave at 6, get to west Covina around 6:30, bullshit around until 7 and then off to Hollywood to make the reservations at 8.
Left at 7 and headed straight to Yamashiro. At this point I was pissed because i said clearly that we were leaving at 6. Almost told at the last second we should just go straight to the restaurant. Again the only good thing is looking at Ilene's eyes. Finally left, and Ilene up front. I just kept it quiet and bumped my Panic! At the Disco. However Leslie wanted Craig David which eventually Ilene did too. I wasn’t going to have it. I caught Leslie trying to push my feelings towards Ilene. Leslie has asked me before to make some copies of the photos i took of Damien Marley. I told her no, just to see how far she was going to go and that was that. Recently i told her not to tell Ilene to ask me since i most likely couldn’t say no to her. So when Leslie was trying to get the Craig David cd put in, she made a comment like, "Cmon Anh, its Ilene... You know.. Ilene." She was sooo leading, and then Ilene got into it, and i was steadfast and just listen along to my cd.
Eventually I did put it in since i listened to all the songs i wanted to hear. The third track of the album, "The Story Goes" entitled Hypnotic got Ilene all into it. Nice.. Now if i ever hear the song, it’s going to remind me of her.
Made good time into the city and got to the restaurant. Which is right by the Magic Castle and around the corner from the Hollywood Bowl. You have to go up this little street and around the corner on a pretty steep incline. After going up and around for what it seems like forever. Arrived right in front of the place to bored looking valet attendants. Handed over the keys and to the left you see all of Los Angeles. I mean ALL of Los Angeles. From the skyline in downtown to Sunset Blvd to Beverly Hills to what I think was the skyline of Universal City. It was just one of the best views I have seen in my life. The wind was blowing out, which usually means not a cloud in sight. It was just amazing!
A little history on this place....
Yamashiro means “Mountain Palace” in Japanese. It was the dream of the Bernheimer brothers in 1911 to build a hilltop mansion 250 feet above Hollywood Boulevard to house their priceless collection of Asian treasures. Hundreds of skilled craftsmen were brought from the Orient to recreate an exact replica of a palace located in the “Yamashiro” mountains near Kyoto, Japan. This dream became a reality in 1914.
Read the rest of the History of Yamashrio

Had a little wait time before we were seated. The bar area faced the overall view of the city, which of course was amazing. We were then seated in the Sunset Room, which I sort of requested. You can kinda see the view in the photo since that picture is pretty much where we were sitting.
Most of the view was right behind me, i could have easily traded sides at the table but i didnt mind. I had the eyes to enjoy instead. Ordered off the bat some calamari and got some Sake. The cheapest one there which was a cold milky, "Nigori." You can feel the milky consistancy and wasnt too strong. Calamari was totally good.
Looking around the menu, especially at the entrees, the items looked sooo good yet really expensive. The number one thing that caught my eye was the kobe beef and there was the kobe beef with grilled prawns. Goodness they were expensive. How expensive? Well Kobe beef can go for 300 bucks a pound. A flippin pound!! The whole thing around it is that the cow is massaged daily and fed beer. However I read that its fed beer to induce an appetite during the summer. Another thing i read is that the cow could be born and raised anywhere but ended up in Kobe, Japan when slaughter, its still technically and legally still Kobe Beef. Well i over looked that and decided upon the Grilled Seafood which included lobster, calamari steak, scallops, shrimp, mahi mahi among other things. The Black Bean Lobster in risotto caught the eye but i wanted something different sorta and fairly less expensive.
Ilene got the Sitting Buddha Sushi roll which actually tasted like a Spring Roll i am accustom to. Other sushi we got were Dragon Roll, Rainbow Roll, Catipiller roll and a Sushi box which included 20 pieces of typical random sushi. I was gonna share a Sashimi Sampler with Brandon but our waitress Yoshi convinced me to get the Toro Tuna sashimi special. Entrees we ordered, I got the Grill Seafood and Ilene got the Kurobuta Pork Chop. I guess the cooks made it twice and we ended up getting the one they sent out also. Leslie's eventually arrived and Leslie preordered her a Kobe Steak. Thats what im talking about.
Her mom gave me a good chunk of the Kobe beef and man o man. The best flippin meat i have EVER tasted. Kobe Beef is known for the unique marbelization of the fat interweaving with the actual meat. This meat doesnt need nothing. No A1 sauce, just light salt and pepper on the grill to a medium rare perfection. I honestly was chewing each piece about 50 times before swallowing. It tasted that damn good!!! Now this must be how the other half wines and dines.. Oh yes!!
The lobster i had was pretty good. The sushi was ok, decent i say. I wasnt really impress but Yamashiro, even though it has a Japanese history, but it states its cuisine as "CalAsian." Other than that, everything else was wonderful. The ice tea has a really strong flavor.
A lot of conversation, and laughs and fun. I refrained myself from pulling the good ol "Thats what she said," on Ilene. I mean there were some key moments, but i wanted just to hang out and be cool. It was brought up and little Brandon whos only in fifth grade hears me say it but he doesnt understand the context of how to use it. Its totally funny sometimes when he says it and it actually fits the context of the usage. Chitter chatter was fun.
Dessert was even better. We got 4 deserrts.. I picked up some cream puff thingy. It was ok, Leslie and Ilene shared something. I didnt recall. Leslie's mom got a Strawberry Donuts which were really good since it had this strawberry sauce and Brandon got the various sorbet. A great way to end a great night of food, views and conversations. It was even better since i didnt have to pick up the check. I could barely pick up the Kobe Beef tab, i dont think everything combine i could have handled. I dont know the total but i do know how much the tip was, so i could do some math and figure it out.

Afterwards we all hit the bathrooms. The way you have to take to get to the bathroom you go through the Koi Pond dining area. The was vacant since it was not really a busy night and any normal person would pick the view over the view of potentially century living old Koi. What sucks is that there wasnt a walk way to get down to see the Koi upclose but i guess its just part of teh ambience.
I made it back to the table to chat alone with Leslie's mom. She was digressing on the day, and of course i put my witty intelliegent comments and off to the outside. Rigtht in front of the entrance where you see the view of the city is a little Japanese inspired garden. You can see the Pagoda which i guess is the oldest structure in California.

Walked around each side of the garden while Ilene was taking pictures. I told her what I learn from Anthony Bourdain, I told her, "Be a traveler, not a tourist." This goes for everyone who reads this. You should know the difference.
More photos, posing and so on. Our cars came from the valet and off we go. I decided just to cruise around Hollywood and Sunset to show Ilene the sights. I mean she lived in California but its always nice to point out the landmarks and such. Drove around and then off back to Rancho. I was thinking maybe we should hit up a club and just dance the night away. Manny was doing Scribbles in Diamond Bar but i figured nah.
Headed to Leslies to hang a litle, tried to do some computer stuff. Was going to head back to Ilenes but i was tired and we headed over to my house for a little. Did whatever and that was the night. It was a totally fun night and Ilene gets back from school in May. Its going to be a good summer for sure! HAHA...
Kobe is some good shit!! the Beef and the Laker. 81 damn points!!!

Education.. a Multi-Billion industry.. i think..?
Hurray the Fall semester is here again for the ____ time... It’s blank not because I am omitting the number. At this point I have lost track.
Parking is unbelievable. I think its because its the first week where everyone is trying to get classes or act like they are going class. After a few weeks, it dies down. Also permits arent required just of yet. However I think i came to school an hour earlier just to get a spot which is totally ridiculous.
Now the run down of my classes. Mass Communications and Society with Kipp Preble. Oh what made me pick my professors was Rate My Professor.com and of course the requirements i had to fulfill. Rate My Professor is a very very handy tool to get a feel of the class and professor. Anyways.. So Preble, it says that he’s a sexist and if you are a chick, you wont get a good grade. Well since im a dude, ill be fine. The class seems very interesting; however our first project is a media sobriety test. Testing if we are either addicted or just habitual users of media. Of course its self tested and self discipline to actually do it for 72 hours.
OH! If you didn’t know. The measure how interesting and good your class is, depends on how many attractive members of the opposite sex there is. In that case, my Communications class is great. There’s one cute girl who has really cute eyes and lips and her hair looks good done up and down. Anyways. Looking forward to the class, and she walks my way to my next class, so a chatter session will be fun.
Macroeconomics with Kimberly Edgcomb. The class is totally packed but im glad i didn’t need to try to add the class. Can’t really say much about this class. The professor seems really cool, time goes by quick. But i think its because i have a buddy in the class. I found that if I have a buddy in the class, i am prone to chatter and joke around way too much. In classes where I don’t know anyone yet. I just keep my mouth shut. Cute chicks? Just one.
Eastern Philosophy with Dr. Maura O'Neill, that’s with two "L" since she’s Irish, and will fail you if you don’t put 2 "L." Rate My Professor says that you should open your mouth if you can’t back up your statement, because she will make you look stupid. Well no thoughts about this class at all. There this chick who has a staring problem foreals! It annoys yet makes me laugh cuz her and her friend aren’t so hot. Back to the professor, i got the vibe she has had a few run in with the Dean. Found it sort of funny but the class is interesting nonetheless. Covering Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism. Oh and Taoism is pronounced Daoism. So that new club in Vegas should really start educating their visitors.
Earth Science with Judy Lowman Wow, i think this is the first class fresh out of High School kids take. I mean i noticed a few football players and fellow wrestling teammates. What’s the thing is that most of these kids are annoying as heck, talking and talking and passing around notes. I mean dude is college and not high school. Grow the fuck up. The class is in a lecture hall with over 100 students. It just gets annoying. As for the professor, total hippie. Extra credit for doing homework on recycled paper, bringing toys for the chimps somewhere, towels for the human society, and picking up trash on field trips. The class isn’t too bad, the passing of the notes is annoying but one of the chicks, who do it, is very cute.
Last class, is Biology with Roseann Cobos. Class is again whatever’s, just another requirement. The professor isnt boring which is good. Her voice actually has some personality with it. What’s funny is when she states things, she shakes her head with a smile. There’s these two big girls who sit behind me and talk talk talk and laugh laugh laugh. I don’t know why but i got looks, smile, and comments when the teacher was talking about calories and ask about how many calories per gram for protein, fat, and carbohydrates (Protein and Carbs is 7 calories per gram and 9 for fat by the way). Who knows..
Now that’s the run down on my classes. I was going to add a Earth Science Lab, Real Estate, and Anthropology classes which would run the classes up to 8. Yeah, that would be over kill in credits and would kill me especially when events start coming again. Its pretty slow at the moment, but come over March, it will be out of hand. So 15 units with 5 classes will be fine for now. I shouldn’t even worry, and take my time and finish up classes. My friend at USC is paying 1000 dollars per unit taking classes he would have taking for 26 dollars per unit. Good luck to me finishing this crap up.
Oh click on the fellow link. I guess there are ways to “hack” a scantron. One of the first ideas was to put chapstick on it.. Interesting.. Well its a good read. If you didnt study for a test and in desire need. Try out a few of these tricks.
Conjunction junction whats your function??

Miss America.. eh.... nothing special...
Wednesday January 11th, 2005
Off to Hollywood to shoot the contestants of the Miss America 2006 pageant. Didn't leave until 11ish after picking up Jesse. I figured I could use one of my gift cards from the dolce group to eat at Bella for lunch since it was right down the street.
The drive wasn't bad but had this chick that cut me off going into the carpool lane. Sorry if I limit my speed to 80 which is already fast enough. I ended up going 90 to catch up with her to fuck with her. But I couldn't catch up.
Got into Hollywood a little before 12 and parked in the complex and out of the car around 12:00. The photo opt started at 12 and check in was at 11:30. It was pretty much just the 52 contestants plus 2005's Miss American and the honorary major of Hollywood, Johnny Grant.
When I got to the grand staircase, things looked done. Photographers were just standing around. I tried to find who I was supposed to check in with. Eventually found Brooke after going through some CMT reps and all the security giving me a hard time.
I was surprised things were over since it was barely 12:10 and with my experiences, things never start on time and Brooke herself seemed dumbfounded about it.
I agreed to shoot the 2005 Miss America with the president of the pageant. I was feeling rushed and didn't get to set my camera up right. Photos came out over exposed and whatever. Wasn't no point since I didn't get the whole group.
As I stand there looking around, these girls aren't all that cute. Yes they are tall and fit, but the face wasn't doing much. Lots and lots of cake up. Even Miss California didn't look all that great. I saw 2 other photographers I recognized but didn't have time to say anything.
As I stand around, they all boarded onto the 3 tour buses back to wherever. The pageant is going on in Vegas and maybe I might go and cover it perhaps.
There's something you always see when you come to Hollywood Blvd and hang out in front of the Mann's theatre. You see the costume characters which are usually made up of Comic book characters.
All im going to say is that I know the Superman dude semi personally. Been to his house which was kind of scary and yeah. Its right on Franklin north of Hollywood Blvd where the place was a converted hotel into a apartment complex. Just think about that. Well its more of a motel than a hotel. For those who don’t know what the difference is, a motel has the doors opening outside as opposed to hotels where you are pretty much opening the door to your room inside, like a hall.
Talked to him a bit and headed off to lunch
2 blocks down I think.... on the corner of Las Palmas. Bella Cucina. The place is pretty small and homey. Took a seat down and checked out the menu. The menu wasn't too loaded with items but what they had sounded good. Decided on the beef Carpaccio and spaghetti with seafood in a zesty tomato sauce. The seafood consisted of clams, calamari, mussels and shrimp. The Carpaccio was the normal with raw beef, arugula, and parmesan.
They had this bread that was soooo good! It was accompanied with this tomato salsa type thing and they put a bottle of extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Lets just say I could have just the bread and only the bread.
Another good thing about the place is that the hostess waitress... Well they have many different waiters that attend all of the tables. The only waitress there was a little cutie... Very nice complexion. It was nice when she came around and such.
The Carpaccio was good and so was the spaghetti. I didn't get a spoon and asked for parmesan cheese. I would think its the norm.
Noticed a lot of rocker looking types walking around and joked around must have been some rock thing going on.
Got out of the restaurant and headed back. The weather was amazing today.. Totally loved it.
Had to find somewhere at the complex to validate the parking. Its only 2 bucks if you have it validated so yeah. There was this place that used to be in the place of Tonic. Mr. Beard Bake shop or whatever. They sell éclairs, cream puffs and that sort of stuff. Got the original cream puff and that was hella good. Not really sweet. Got my parking stub validated.
Headed back home and that was that. Later on the night I was working on updating my computer. Recently put on Windows XP and to my dismay, the place I put all my music is gone. All 9000 songs are gone. More to come...
Chicks are SUPPOSE to not be on time!!!!

CES... You need a Red Bull or drugs to survive this place..
The biggest electronic trade show in the world is back again. Last year it rained and it totally sucked but it wasn’t too bad since i caught up and hung out with a friend I haven’t seen from Long Beach. This year, the sun is out and the air is cool.
Usually the show starts on Thursday with a press debut type party thing and starts up Friday until Sunday. I wished I came out for those days to see the keynotes and check out the parties. The keynote I wasn’t to see was Bill Gates; I mean it would be awesome to just hear him talk. I found out that Gates had Justin Timberlake come out and show off Microsoft's music service, Urge. Timberlake says it’s a combination of MySpace and iTunes. God help us all.
I came down over Saturday.. so from what I recall i missed the Pre-Show CES show, the #1 gamer Fa1ality party at the House of Blues, Black Eyed Peas Intel party/performance, Monster's Stevie Wonder Awards party, The MTV Killers concert/party, and a Best Buy Party Pure. For sure next year i gotta take in the full experience of this convention. What’s always at the same time is the Adult Video News (AVN) Expo and Awards. Just watch The Girl Next Door and you see the general feeling of the place.
Left Saturday morning... had 2 naps and was already there. Not going to get all into the details. I’ll outline the happenings dealing with CES.
• Headed to Alexia Park where all the audio exhibitors are.
• Took the bus shuttle to the Convention Center
• Headed to the Press room and got my press bag. It was a friggin luggage thing on wheels.
• Gathered the press releases on the electronic companies
• Walked around the floor.
• Watched Johnathan "Fata1ity" Wendel inhumanly beat challengers in Quake 4. They were given 4 minutes to score just 1 kill off him and i saw 3 rounds of players and nothing. He got 22 kills off a dude and his score was -2. An amazing player, kills in the air and what not.
• Hung out at the Google booth.. Tommy Lee comes up to check out a plasma screen with some Google info. I noticed and asked to take a photo. Of course his bodyguard has to answer for him. Dude says from a distance. At this point, i was already 15 feet away, put up my camera and the bodyguard and his buddy start trippen out. I was did you not say from a distance, and of course bodyguards aren’t known for their brains and said that wasn’t a distance. So I am thinking, i should either take it anyways or just be a dick and turn into paparazzi mode. I just decided to just walk away.
• Checked out the Microsoft booth, there new operating system Vista looked amazing. Too bad they stole most of their ideas from Apple's OS system.
That’s about it... OH!! Of course the subject on everyone’s lips was the next gen DVD format. Either Blueray or HD-DVD. I could get into the details of each format but im not going to. Use Google and read on it. I personally was for Blue ray but I read an article where HD-DVD is much more easier for distribution to convert to for its much more friendly on the wallet price.
Headed back to my Aunts where i was staying.. Hung out and feel asleep to watching Wedding Crashers. Amazing movie.. I remember the part where the wedding for the Christopher Walken's daughter, where they were saying their vows about captain and shipmate. I was the only one laughing in the theatre. I love the movie...
Next day... Left Vegas after of course checking out the buffet at Mandalay Bay. Since it was Sunday, they were having a bunch with Champagne. Great food like always!! Since it was still early but then again late.. The drink of choice was a Mimosa!! The waiter then suggested i try instead of Orange Juice and Champagne, but Cranberry Juice and Champagne. I liked it much better since it cut out the alcohol taste. Good stuff!! What i did notice was this lady at my 2 o clock was staring. Like MAD!! Every other time i would people watch around the place, she would be staring. I looked behind me to see if there was anything to see but there wasn’t anything. I sat at the same place I have sat the last 2 times i have been there. Ehh whatever... Here’s a question, why do they have the dessert buffet place all the way on the opposite end of the main buffet? Just a thought..
Can’t wait to be back in Vegas with friends to party it up and stay up until the butt crack of dawn.
AVN or CES. Tough choice for next year...

Started 05 shitty but ended it much better!!!.. sorta
December 31st, 2005
You know... Rain sucks. I thought, hey no rain in December. I could deal with that since im not a fan of the rainy weather especially when im driving. I dont mind it if im home and all. Other than that, the only disadvantage of not having rain is not having snow in the mountains for snowboarding.
Here i am excited for the New Year Eve events. I had one already set up, Giant Village. Huge 6 block of downtown Los Angeles taken up, with 6 stages. On those stages were suppose to be Black Eyed Peas, Death Cab for Cutie, Flaming Lips, Christopher Lawerance, Junkie XL, Crystal Method and a lot more. I mean this was a party from 8 until 4am with 6 stages and lounges in the surrounding hotels. It the biggest 21 and over party in the World, why wouldnt it be the best New Years Event to hit up.
Story short.. Got down there. Event shut down. I mean i was hoping there wasnt any rain by the time i got down there and there wasnt. Semi clear skies, it was feeling like a great night for a party. It got canceled due to LAPD and the Fire Marshall shutting it down due to the safety of the people. I was like give me a break. However for some reason i was mad. I didnt even care. The three surrounding hotels from what i remeber the Westin Bonaventure, Sheraton and another were sold out. I can gurantee the only reason why it was sold out was because of this event. To add to the bullshit, im not big on caffene when i can help it. Most of the intake comes from tea however i figured i needed some Red Bull to prepare for this event. I downed one from the parking lot to the event and felt the effects rather quickly. My chest was not feeling all that great and so on. Thats what i get when i drink a can of liquid crack.
While walking back to the parking lot through the Sheraton. Saw Ben, the singer for Death Cab for Cutie and Postal Service hanging around with his girl. Even the performers didnt even know the event was canceled until an hour prior. I did hit up the publicist who was handling the event, but i was sure she was getting calls. She was very apoligic and i reassured her it was ok. I guess they will produce another event that will have the tickets honored.
Heres the thing.. I was kicking myself for not backing up the events which i initially thought i should have done. There was a party Pamela Anderson was hosting on the Paramount Studios with a midnight performance from the Pussycat Dolls. I would so have loved to see that. I skipped a fashion show at the studios due to the fact i had a term paper due the next day which i didnt start. Here was my chance again to party there. I was in talked with the publicist of the event, which i called but was busy with an US Weekly photoshoot for the event. I didnt want to bother calling him back, wasting his time since i was pretty much set on Giant Village.
Whats event more ironic. The first event i wanted to cover that night was John Legend at the House of Blues but i didnt bother again because of Giant Village. Gridlock LA, the Pamela Anderson event, was also canceled i learned a few days later. Talk about crappy rain. I knew people came to Los Angeles just to celebrate New Years and 2 of the biggest events were shut down. How nice.
I ended up heading to Curtis' place in Hollywood to hang out and figure out what was going to go down. The forsure opition was Together as One, a huge all ages rave party at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. Sorry but i didnt have 60 dollars to spend on a party like that. Especially when i dont enjoy raves that much. Before that, Curtis wanted a boxspring to be disposed. Had to throw that thing off the second floor balcony. Fun. After Troy and I tossed that into the dumpster, a Russian dude from the adjacent buiding yelled at us, telling us it wasnt a public dumpster. Ehh, well its on a public street.
Curtis and Troy off to Together As One. And I going back home to rest before heading off to Laguna Beach. A friend wanted to hang out and I came with the idea of why not hanging on the beach and watch the first sunrise of 2006. She didnt get off work until 2 and hey it would be fun.
Got home.. and knocked out. I couldnt drive an hour over there and stay up until 6am. Screw that. I was home just doing a few things and i didnt even care. I wasnt disappointed or anything. Its somewhat of an overrated day but people choose to celebrate it. Oh well. I think the reason why i didnt care is that i spent last year in a much more worse state of mind. I was helping a friend move and we went and did the dinner thing. But during the move, i was talking to someone. Our relationship had been getting really blah and that day, December 31st of 2004, i reliezed something that I didnt want to. Talk about a low point. That put my head in a tail spin and was in a funk all that night. Ehh whatever. So lets just say, 2 canceled events and not spending time with a hot chick on the beach was much better than what i felt last year. Thats for sure.
Live and learn.. doing it big for sure NYE 2007

Well uhh the Dolce Group rules!!

Well thats all i gotta say. If you saw my Christmas List post.. I wanted some gift cards from the Dolce Group restuarants; Geisha House, Dolce, and Bella. To my suprise, the actual Dolce Group sent me gift cards to the three restuarants. Im not gonna state the amount, but lets just say, its enough for me to drive out an hour to go dine at either of the 3 restuarants.
Im still wondering how they knew where to sent the gift cards. Oh let me explain it first. Its like a sideways foldable card with 4 panels. The front says Happy Holidays while the first page of the inside says, Wishing you a tasty holiday season.. The Dolce Group. The next three pages has these business card sized cards with the name of the restuarant. Totally awesome!! I know Dolce had revamped their menu and i havent visited to try it out yet. They even offered 50 percent off Mondays and Tuesday to entice me to come in for dinner. Im soo going to go in and i havent tried Bella yet, and of course you all know i LOVE Geisha House.
The group will be opening their restuarants in Vegas, which i soo have to check out and the OC will be getting the restuarants. They will have lots of business but the flagship restuarants of the Dolce Group; Dolce and Geisha House, should really just be in Los Angeles and Vegas. Thats just my opnion. Other cities they are opening other restuarants are in Atlanta with Atlantic Station, Georgia with Geisha House, Dolce and King Pin, and then a sports bar in Dallas named Victory Park.
Genichi “Gen” Mizoguchi, the executive chef at Geisha House will be on the Iron Chef in January. I am assuming its the American Version on the Food Network challenging (im guessing) Masaharu Morimoto. 2 top Japanese chefs. Mizoguchi knows the art of the blowfish.. Maybe hell show off a little of that.. Be sure to check out the show or even better the Geisha House.
Once again... Thanks to the Dolce Group!! Ashton Kucher, Wilmer Vilderamma, Danny and Chris Masterson, Simon Rex, Jamie Kennedy, Dule Hill Lonnie Moore, Mike Malin, Shereen Arazm, Jessica Meisels and Marissa Knies. You guys rock!!
Anyone for dinner?? Its on me... =)'

Video On Demand Rules!!!
The title says it all. Its a little better than downloading tv shows yourself. I mean the downloads i get are in High Definition and no commericial. But i am pretty much stuck on the computer, and my little 19 inch screen. On Demand, you can stop pause and play it all and such. Whats even better is that you get On Demand for the cable movie channels you subscribe to. So i get HBO, Starz, Cinemax, and Showtime all on demand. Which means, the series they air i can watch.
I never got into Sopranos, especially since i was like 15 when it came out. Watched the first season, LOVE THE SHOW!! I soo need to get the other season DVDs. Entourage is on there, first season. The current season of Curb Your Enthsiasum is on, and its sooo FUNNY. Watch the episode about the Korean Bookie and the missing dog. ITS SOO FUNNY!! Showtime has their mini series, Sleeper Cell. So awesome!! Weeds was on there but i missed it when i wanted to watch it. Not only series are on demand. Movies, specials, documentaries and the late night wack adult movies are on to. I just cant wait until Real Time with Bill Maher and Entourage comes back. I never have to worry about missing it, just pull it up on demand and watch it over and over.
MTV has a little on demand for there shows, all the After Show for Laguna Beach is on. Kinda weird to watch it now, after meeting the cast and finally going to the actual place.
On Demand rules!! Im sure most of you guys dont even know you have it or know that its free. For Charter users, its channell 999. Remember to get it, you gotta be a subscriber to the channel!! HAVE FUN!! I know i do!!
ALL TV NEEDS TO BE ON DEMAND!! SCREW TIVO!

Welcome-D to the O.C. bitch!
I liked to start out saying people do not know how to drive and that EVERYONE needs to take another driving exam!! See i dont mind if you have crappy driving skills, but when you inflict that on to others, that’s when i have a problem. When i say others, i mean me!! They should even invite sensors that know when there are other cars around and install cameras. If you you are a crappy driver, that footage gets sent to the DMV or police, and your license gets revoked. When i say crappy driver, i mean not following the little rules when driving.
Here i am driving south on Daycreek Ave. At the intersection of Daycreek and Foothill, its a 3 way left turn light. I usually like to be in the far right of the left turns because im eventually going to the far right lane to hope on the freeway. I have had experiences where the 4th lane turns left when it can only go straight and here i am trying to make a left getting cut off. Anyways, I’m making a left and the cars in front of me go into the 4th lane after you make the left. Last i recall, in whatever lane you are in, you end up in that lane when you finish your turn. Of course there are times when you can be get into another lane, but CMON there are other cars behind you, stay in your damn lane or if you want to change lanes at least there gotta be some damn space for the cars behind you to go somewhere.
Another thing, while i got past all that, i had to get into the 4th lane to get on the freeway. It was backed up due to some rubbernecking on the onramp. I was stuck again behind a car trying to get into the lane, i waiting and got out. Drove up more and try to get into the lane myself. Some stupid car behind me honked at me, i was like wtf.. I would understand if i cut you off or you were behind him, but they weren’t. They were trying to get into the 4th lane too. I need to start using my horn more to be honest. All this trying to get on the freeway to get to Laguna Beach..
Prior to this i had to take a final for my American Cinema class. I had to take it at 3 other than the normal 6 because i had an event to cover. Headed to school, and there was no parking lot. I thought my professor had a class, it sounded like that when he told me i could come in early. Took the test with someone else, took me about 30 mins. 30 mins to do a final consisting of 40 questions and an essay. Easy stuff..

Now off to Laguna.. Hurray.. I was covering an event from one of the cast members charity event. Member of the Laguna Beach show on MTV. Im not going to get all into it but you can read my article. I have never been there, and actually haven’t been around that area in a long long time. I do recall being around Dana Point and Laguna Nigel.
The drive wasn’t too bad, 15 to 91 to 241 or 261 and after its a blur. The 261 or 241 is a toll road into Irvine. Instead driving around Anaheim Hills and Orange, it just cuts right through. A good time saver. The tolls wasn’t too bad but here’s the thing. The sun was setting and in my eye like none other! I was getting really blinded by it and it look like i took the wrong interchange. It said either South Orange and Irvine. I took the Irvine route and according to the Mapquest it was the right way. It didn’t feel right. The freeway ended, and i was sooo off directions. I turned out to be on Jamboree, i just figured to go south until i hit Pacific Coast Highway and then take a left down to Laguna. This drive was forever!! Or at least it felt like it. You ALWAYS feel like it takes forever when you don’t know where you are going but in your gut you feel like you are going the right way, and you just doubt and doubt every block.
One benefit i found going this way?? At least i know where Fashion Island in Newport is. I never knew and it was pretty cool to see. Another plus? The air felt so much pure and cleaner. The sky was beautiful and soo clear. Living inland, the sky is always disgusting unless the wind is blowing a little, its not. I finally hit PCH, and they weren’t lying when they say PCH is a mess!! Once i got onto the highway, i know i was safe. If i could, id get a convertible and drive up and down the highway all day, minus the traffic.
I eventually got into Laguna. Saw Ocean Ave, and Laguna Ave. I couldn’t help but look to my right and see the ocean. I love it when you are there, and the ocean seems so high. Its true, this place is just a little town and people will talk. Then after i got into Laguna, i was hoping the Methodist church was on a main street, where they have the signal light signs. It was already dark and i didn’t want to go around looking at the little street signs.
Got to the church, and it seemed semi crowded but wasn’t. When i got into the place and nothing was going on but a raffle off. Everything was way too disorganized. Here i am walking around trying to see what the areas were and what was going on. Nothing!! Nothing at all, a outside area of nothing and an inside of people waiting for the Meet and Greets with the cast. One of the most unprofessional and pointless events. I mean, yes there is a point, this charity, but i mean at least produce a newsworthy event to attract more attention.
Here i am walking around like a chicken with its head cut off walking from the outside holding area and the inside place. I just decided to walk towards the back that lead around to the meet and greet area. You can see the church right before you enter the doorway. Its a pretty small church, i say you fit maybe around 100 people or so. I guess there isnt that much practicing Methodists in Laguna.
The only person i notice at the moment here was Trey, just hanging out. Eventually Stephen and Jessica came and they did a little meet and greet with them 3. Its not a surprise that every single breathing girl there, mainly under 18, wouldn’t be surprised if under 16, were there to meet Stephen. Very very brief thing there. They had to get everyone out to the streets to create a mock finish line for when Dieter arrives. A 120 Miles, that is amazing stuff, in one day. I gotta say that he is a machine.
Was pretty annoying out here. Little girls all gitty about the cast members of the show and so on. MTV had i think 3 camera guys all over the place just hogging up space to shoot any of the people. I was told the pr person who was handling this event was contact a lot of media to over. From what i noticed there was only 3 photographers counting me, and 1 writer for sure and maybe another. That’s it. I have been to whatever events with more coverage.
Whatever reason, 3 fire trucks came to do something up the street. Its a rather small codisack, didn’t know how they fit them in. Anyways, they had a check that Dieter was going to present to the SAVE organization, looks like so far they had raised a little over 43,000 dollars. Right on. So he came up, to a crowd less than enthused. I mean im sure they would be, but whoever was handling the audience sucked and it looked more like MTV was trying to do it, but we all know how lame they are.
Before Dieter came up, Alex Murrell and Alex H was dropped off, where What would Dieter Do? shirts. They are both really tall, well Alex H is much taller. Dieter came, and all sweaty fell on the floor semi jokingly and just hung out. After that, just a mad mob rage to show how unorganized this is. He left, while MTV and the check presentation didn’t even happen. Taylor and Morgan showed up outta nowhere, and WOW!!! I have to say that i think Taylor is the most beautiful chick on the whole dang cast. Kristin knows she has a nice body and she uses that too much. Lauren "LC" has an effortless beauty but that beauty isn’t always apparent all the time. Taylor?? Always pretty with minimal makeup. If you can look hot with only lip-gloss that is beauty without makeup. She was wearing this orange redish dress and was looking soooooo cute. Anyways.
Dieter came back, presented the check to the dude at SAVE, and was presented with a plaque. He was doing thank yous and someoen from the crowd had to mention LC for a thank you. I read in his journal about how shes whatever if she doesnt show, theres gotta be some reasoning behind that. Back to the little room for some more rabbed fans. I just hung out, take pictures where i could when they were just chillin. I decided to say hi to the KIIS DJ and the giveaway, make KIIS FM present be known guys. Introduced myself to them, dropping Manny wack butt name in it. HAHA...
DJ Shy was really friendly, cool chick and new resident DJ at the radio station. Talked to the other KIIS FM people. One of the chicks was asking me about my jacket... i swear ive seen her somewhere and she was a little cutie..
More of the cast walking around and what not. You can totally tell that Jessica really didnt want to be there. She wasnt talking to no one and the other way around. I mean the fans were but other than that, not really. I noticed at a certain point she was signing the the flyers in mass production mode.
Enough of that, it was getting close to 7ish and off to the after party. At this point, was friendly with the DJ and her homie, Al. The name im assuming because i totally didnt hear it. I always try to make an effort to remember names.
Left the place, people were taking photos with Polster, and I didnt really noticed him until after that. Back to the car to head on over to the club. When i was walking back, these little girls were asking me where everyone was going and if i knew where to go. Of course, i did. They told me they didnt know where they were going because they lived in San Diego, and i was like oh wow. But then i thought about it, took me the same amount of time and distance to get there, so i shouldnt say anything.
When i hit PCH again, everyone looked like they were turning right and i was the only one turning left. Again, felt i was lost. But i got on my way there. Things looked familar since it was around the Spectrum.
Diablos... In Lake Forest was the location of the party. A week ago, it was only suppose to be 21 and over and a few days ago it changed to All Ages. I figured they did that because they werent going to get much 21 and over folks coming
The club, nothing special. One side with a stage the other side with a dj booth and a lower dance floor. I mean this place is totally dancable place. Anywho, hung around the DJ booth and just chilled with Al. Observing and drinking. I had a Vodka Tonic that tasted soo week, but man when i got a second one, i was out of it. When i left the house to Laguna, i was already thristy, which meant i was dehydrated already. That just ampped the effects of the vodka. I knew by my second drink, i had to take my time cuz me and Al were buying drinks for each other. There was a group of asian dudes filming the DJ. One of them came up to chatter saying how they are filming her for a profile on VHN network. A new asian channel on DirecTV. He was talking it up and saying how they are looking for people to maybe profile. I was like... uhhh... sure... Maybe? Let me hit the gym for umm maybe a year first, and then we could? HAHA.. So not camera ready...
Lets set up this up for yall. Next to the DJ booth was 2 boxes about 20 feet from each other. They had a pole on each, from the looks of it, to hold up signs and what not. A thought came to mind, hmmm maybe some chick could maybe use it like a stripper pole and just dance and what not around it. Maybe you can see where im going. Now here comes a chick that i saw at the church and chillin around the DJ booth here. I see her jump up the box with a look on her face like she got a bicycle on Christmas day. You know... that look..
Im not done.. another set up.. Usually when you introduce yourself, you tell your name first.. Ok keep that in mind. Here she is spinnning around the pole that wasnt really stable to do it. Hey the engine that could... I looked at her, and she came down to me. She explained to me why she couldnt do it, like i was her evaluater or something. Then she said, oh im a stripper and i dance go go. Like i was itnerviewing her for a job and she was giving me a verbal resume. I was like uhh ok, just go up and dance some more. FUN FUN!! Ok i have a photo of her somewhere on this post, not going to point it out though. She did tell me where she dances, and maybe, just maybe ill check it out.
Another thing, looks like a bunch of these girls were in the house. Representing a clothing brand. There were like 6 or so of them. All working for the stripper, fun. They were semi wild but not really. I saw 2 who werent doing anything. OK there was one chick, to me, the most attractive one, and she was fully clothed but her dancing, the sexuality just oozed out of her. Like she was covered, jeans, uggs, and like a weather type thing. anyways!
Nothing much really went on. There were bands and what not performing on the other side. Saw Nehemiah dancing and i went over and said whats up. Looking at MTV site, hes from Rancho Cucamonga. Man if i knew that, i would have talked up some shop about Rancho, but whatever. Talked to him cousin a little bit, who was pretty blingin it. Im assuming hes in the Slimeballs. Whatever that is.
Again nothing relaly going on, around 10ish, Alex Murrell went on stage. That was the other person I wanted to see perform. Her song, "Hello" i really like. Before she got some stage, Taylor was on stage hanging around and a guy in the crowd said, "Laguna Beach sucks." She walked over to him and said, "Are you kidding? Seriously are you kidding?" Man shes a little firecracker. I totally dig that.
Morgan, Taylor and Alex were chillin on the otherside. Stephen came around to MC a little bit. Alex then performed. The first song i didnt know what it was, but i was busy taking photos. The lighting totally sucked and most of the photos came out orangy. Second song was "Best Friend," which i assumed was about Taylor but i didnt catch the lyrics. She was tearing up all emotional, and that was hella cute. A girly girl with attiitude with a natural beauty. Perfect!! If you ask me. Totally perfect. Last song, "Hello" and it looked like myself, Morgan, and Taylor were the only ones who sung along. I like how she sings and how she sounds on this track. If you wanna hear it, go to her myspace at myspace.com/alexmmusic
I ended up going to the VIP area after that. Said whats up to Stephen. Wasnt much going down there. Some of the cast was chillin. I talked to Alex H. telling her she looked bored but she told me she was tired. Talked to her mom and little bit. Alex Murrel came by and i didnt expect a hug but i gave her one and said hi. Totally caught me off guard.
At this point i had a really bad headache, buzzing off my butt kinda hard to walk, and way too dehydated. It was around 1030, and i figured just to leave. The stripper and her posse was still running around taking photos, and dancing on poles. Other than that, the entertainment was quite minimal.
I had fun, and was totally glad i didnt have someone come along. I usually like to have someone come for the ride. But i knew i would have been whatevers if someone was with me and i was trippen out to myself about where i was going. Plus, its really hard to mingle and do your own thing when you are worrying about someone. Solo is usually the best way to go..
I really wanted to ask Alex H. about where Kristin was since they live together. I figure she was busy doing stuff cuz she doing a movie and in a show. (Actually found out that she was there supporting her boyfriend her band. Man was i not paying attention)Talan, im sure he was a little too big headed to be there now. Who knows. I love learning where to go out. I wanna go back to the beach area and just hang out and take photos. Its totally peaceful.

One Million hits to my site... almost...

My site has been around for almost a year, a year closer to the end of January in 2006. Been wanting to have my own .com for the longest time and finally took the plunge, bought it, designed it and so on. Needed a place, an official place to put some thoughts, my schedule, and photos up. I say official, because ive had i think 3 other blogs, blogs that are still up and if you google it. Im sure you’ll be able to read them. Those ones are a lot uncensored than this one you are reading. I have a much bigger audience here than the other ones. However it’s pretty rad to read my crazy thoughts at certain times.
As of Saturday December 17, 9:38PM Pacific Time, I have had 834177 hits to my site. Im sure ill hit 1 Million at least by the first entry. I say that’s a lot for some dude speaking his mind. Sorta. I really wished I spoke my mind about everything .. here that is..
Anyways.. So im sure you see the image to the right. OK let’s do a set up, in my hosting program i can’t see where the people are coming from. Well not coming from, but if they click a link somewhere and it leads to my site, it tells me. Looking through the list, i noticed a lot of random site, which lead to nowhere most of it. However i found something of substance, a link to comicbookconventions.com. I had to mine a little bit and there image is what i found. I didn’t submit anything to them but i guess they just found it and reported it. Heres my gripe, the first part about photos and such, ok cool, but the attitude comment? I don’t know if that’s good or not, attitude as in what a attitude someone punch him or attitude in a good way. I don’t know.
I haven’t gone through my whole list and see where some people are coming from but i shall. If you come here often, feel free to email me and say hi.
No Attitude, and 1 Million hits baby!!

Quarter Life Crisis... Im getting old...
Last Thursday December 8th, 2005
Happy Birthday to me!! Hurray!! 22 years ago I was born and 22 years later I am here mistakenly (not getting into that today). Birthdays aren’t a big deal to me because it’s just another day. I wanted to just lay low and not announce it really. How did I lay low?? Signed off my screen names on my PC and Sidekick, and pretty much had my cell phones off. i so didn’t want contact with anyone at all. It’s just a waste, and lotta of the happy birthday wishes feel so empty and such. Plus i didn’t want any presents or whatever. At least i know i wouldn’t be getting another Bible. Nothing says you need some salvation from our holy savor than getting a Bible, especially on your birthday. Its likes getting something like gum or a gym membership, and the underlying reason is that your breath be kicking and your ass needs to get on a treadmill. And the only appropriate time to give it to you is on your birthday. Like any other time isn’t a good time, but you can put a facade of a gift on it. Goodness. it was even "A New Believers" Bible. Which means, cliff notes, breakdowns, highlights.. Pretty much a dumbbed down version. Ehhh enough of the ranting about that... So over it.
Headed off to the Pasadena Symphony Association to do an audit on their systems. Wasn’t too hard, had to keep track of their PC, Monitors, Printers, and Fax machines. Yesterday i had to go out to Redlands, to Redlands Aviations to install and configure a few things. The only highlight of the audit in Pasadena was that one of the chicks i was talking to have a nice behind.
Afterwards, headed to my dads work to get some lunch. Got some salad and trying to finish up reading "Kitchen Confidential." Almost done, new thing… reading is fun!
Then off to LA Weekly, to hang out with Ben and regroup on certain things. More reading and what not. Wanted to hit up the Jimmy Kimmel show. Walked on over to Hollywood and Highland and there was already a mad mad line. The stage behind the El captain theatre had rehearsals for Fort Minor. Right then I really wanted to check it out. But it was barely 6 and the performance wouldn’t happen until 945 at the earliest.
Walked across the street to the newly opened Virgin Megastore. There’s one over here, and man its pretty overpriced media. What i found really interesting is that they had some UK magazines. Namely Arena, and Kelly Brook was on the cover pretty much naked. i remember doing a few episodes of Smallville, and that sparked my interest. Looked into her spread, and she was pretty much nude. i thought this was interesting, but then again the UK is open with their sexuality, and the US is uptight and conservative about it. i mean c’mon, look at the whole uproar about the Janet Jackson super bowl thing. Shows how really conservative America is on that matter. it doesn’t mean I think America is conservative on many other matters, if you looked at the polls, America is a more than half on many issues Liberal. Anyways, UK open on sex and not on violence, and America is open on Violence and close-minded on sex.

Left out of there after awhile and stood on Hollhwood Blvd wondering how we were going to kill time. Kill time to what? Well Paul Sheer and Aziz Ansari (make sure you go to Aziz site and download funny shorts entitled Shutterbugs)was doing a show at the Upright Citizen Brigade Theatre. A commentary on the R.Kelly Trapped in the Closet video. i had been talking to Paul here and there during the week and Aziz hit me up today. I really wanted to check it out and show our support and what not, but man we had no idea how to kill the time until the showing at 11. We thought of a movie, but couldn’t agree on one movie to watch, so that was out of the picture. Sitting in the middle of the Hollywood and Highland complex trying to figure out what to do. We left it up to fate, just flipped a coin weather or not we were going to wait and attend the show or not. Result? The head of that Indian chick on the 1 dollar coin. Off to dinner and then to home.

Decided to have some dinner at California Pizza Kitchen. its a perfect day in Los Angeles, not a cloud in the sky with a light breeze. Perfect jacket weather. Since its such a nice night out, we decided to sit outside and have dinner there. Having some light conversation. Took me awhile to decide what I wanted. The menu doesn’t really offer much variety, i shouldn’t be surprise since I’ve been there about a thousand times. i really wanted s salad but i had one earlier so i got the typical thing i get there, the Fettuccine with Garlic Cream sauce with either Chicken and shrimp or both. This time i got it with the shrimp since Ben got it with the chicken.
Had a pretty good dinner, and off we go. Left the place and what not. I was deciding weather just to stay myself and sleep in my ride or whatever. But i didnt, i made it home way before the show would have started but i will be going to a future show of Pauls, since Aziz is out in New York. Cant wait. Over all, Operation Low Profile was a great success. Besides me bitchin' at a select people who couldnt even say birthday wishes. Whatever..
Its my party and ill cry if i want to... if i want to...

Notary Seminar and Exam today.. Hurray!! Last night, wasnt feeling all too well. I felt either the cold or flu coming on. Well i mean i felt it coming on the days before but this was the day i hit me like a ton of bricks. Illness for me usually builds up to the actual day i wish i was dead and in bed. Yesterday was the day, however when i woke up this morning, i was feeling real good. Up at 7am however bed at 2. Who knows.. Either i have a really good immune system or the multi vitamin, fish oil pill, vitamin c crewable, 3 cups of green tea, and the pomagrated juice.
Head on over to the Ontario Hilton. There were lots of people. About 100 or so people. I learn lots about being a notary but as i was taking the class. The most you could charge for lots of the services were about 10 bucks. That’s beside the point, i was only there to get my license so i can do loan signings. That’s where the money is at.
Of course there were a few cute chicks and there, but mainly older folks. And then there were older older folks..
Not to be an ignorant person or whatever. But you know how they say that life comes full circle? When you are born you are in a diaper, and when you get older you whine up in a diaper too? Well like some of the adults in this class need things repeated and ask obvious questions and so on. Ehh who am i to judge? Education, well retaining it as you get older is a lot more difficult. So maybe that’s why.
Totally over looked there was a state fee to take the test. A check or money order was needed, so my butt had to go home to get it. I thought it was bad for me, but the cute woman in front of me lived an hour away. There was some lunch feast thing at the cafe, and i wanted to try it out. Oh well.
Headed on home, got the check during the lunch break. Thought to go to Rubios for some fish tacos since it was near by. Haven’t had them in awhile and its a pretty good deal.
Back to class for the last few hours. The 8 hours is going by quick since i am hella interested in this and learning something new that will be give a better income. I am all for it!!
A few more hours, and we are done. Had to go ahead and take the exam. Took about a friggin hour to register everyone. I was going to complain about the wait, well you know what i should. It took me like 2 minutes extra to register because i wanted to have my commission county be associated with Los Angeles rather than San Bernardino. I kinda made up a address area but i just got the office of the main person i was going to work for in Covina. It looked like the Hilton was having some banquet in the hall, and they were setting up. FUN!!
The exam wasn’t too hard. 30 multiple choice questions after learning about it all in 8 hours prior. Shouldn’t be too hard. I mean i had a few questions that took more thinking, got stumped on a few and i know i read a few wrong. However i know i passed, i mean cmon now. If i don’t, i have some really bad learning disabilities, like forreals!!
After the exam, compared some notes on the test with this dude that sate behind me renewing his commission, and this other chick who sat by him. I now know i have a really bad short term memory, i was trying to remember questions so i can ask them over to get an opinion. Took me awhile to recall my second one. Something about making a notarizing a college degree or whatever.
Anywho, off to Leslies to hang out. Got some dinner at Quiznos. Yum. That’s some good ass sandwiches. All toasty and such. All about the chicken club or turkey or whatever else.
A good night for television if you ask me. One Tree Hill and Lost. Oh last night, i got the Ryan Cabrera Live at the Wiltern DVD i was at back in March and watched it. Like dude look for my ass walking up and down the ramp behind the pit in the first 3 songs. I’ve noticed, really recently i been working a lot of concerts going to DVD. I love it. Mad, i missed the Michael Buble one thought.
Anyways, One Tree Hill was a good episode. Doesn’t look like its getting teen cheesy much or the story line has been done before. The new chick who plays Rachel the cheerleader is really hot. Then of course there is Lost. I ALWAYS effin scream at the end of the episode because its cliffhanger galore!! Dane Cook feels the same too and man oh man. Love it!! This episode, they found another piece of the Darpa reel where it skips in the one in the hatch. The added frames said that the computer shouldn’t be used for anything else but inputting the code. Of course when Michael is around the computer, which seems to be right after the video is showed again, the computer is operation to be typed on. Dude he talks on it, and it appears to be his son, Walt on the other end. CRAZY!! I can’t wait to see next week, and 24 is coming back and that’s going to be awesome!!
Enough of that, tomorrow. Long day with a little Chris Botti!!!

xBox 360

Its finally out.. However, dont think im some gamer.. The latest system i own is the Gamecube, and only because it was given to me. I never felt the need to want a PS2 or the first xBox. Why do i want it now?? Dane Cook has one.. He plays online and i wanna find him and PWN him!! Thats the only reason!! I do wanna see how the functionality of the phone thing. From what i have seen, its way way advance. Dane Cook, if you are reading this!! YOU WILL GET WHOOPPED!!!

Jonathan Product - DIRT
My favorite hair product by far. It friggin makes my hair the way i want it with out weighing my hair down. Its perfect. It has a hit of almond, the smell that is and it smells good. Its sold out usually for a reason, because its great. As far as i know, the best place to find this is at Sephora.
Dolce Group Gift Certificates
Id love gift certificates from some of my favorite restaurants in Hollywood. I just love the food and the atmosphere. I still gotta hit up Dolce since im getting 50 percent off there on Mondays and Tuesday.. Yum Yum!! The following are the direct links to the gift certificate forms.
Dolce Enoteca | Geisha House | Bella Cucina
Canon - 580EX Speedlite Flash

I just need me a flash for my Canon 20D. I only need it for red carpets and soon im gonna need it for portrait shots. I d dont do too many of those, mostly concerts, but id like to have it just in case.
Paris Hilton Cologne for Men

I am absolutely in love with the womens line of this scent just as much as i am in love with Victoria Secrets' Love Spell products. The mens version of Paris Hilton perfume is just as HOT! I do already sport a few other scents however i wouldnt mind adding this to the reportoire.
Not asking for too much am I??

Vegas Trip Day 2
Friday November 18th, 2005M

Day 2... Well actually kinda day 1 since I didn’t get into Vegas yesterday until 2ish or 3 or whatever. The top shows we had today were Dane Cook and George Lopez. Last night, didn’t go to bed until 4ish i think.
Got up around 10ish and got ready. OH!! Last night at Pure, i met a correspondent from People Magazine. He told me that Kimberly Stewart was rumored to come into Vegas at Midnight to elope. I remember reading something about her and Ryan Cabrera hanging out. But last night i saw a ticker on E! that she was engaged to Talan from Laguna Beach. They only have been dating for 2 weeks. CRAZY!! Talan has always been a pimp since he dated Lindsay Lohan and now marrying Kimberly Stewart. That’s pretty tight if you ask me.
Headed off to the Caesar Palace to drive and to walk the strip from there. I wanted to hit up Walgreen first because i had a little problem with something. I needed to have it handled cuz i mean im in Vegas and if you don’t have it handled.. Then the trip might turn out to be a bad one. Yes, very vague, gotta keep yall guessing. .
Walked there and bought a few things. Left outside and was bummed rush by a lady to take a small survey. After that, headed on over down the strip more to find something to eat. That survey lady recommended to check out the buffet at Excalibur or Mandalay Bay.. I say Mandalay Bay because ive been there for lunch and its pretty good. Its rated one of the best if not the best buffet in Vegas.
Walked on over there and hopped on the monorail at Excalibur that takes you into Mandalay Bay. Off to the buffet. Walked into the bay and it just gets me a little sadden that i was suppose to be here to see Josh Groban in March. I felt the vibe i should have been here for it. Oh well. Paid 16 bucks for the buffet, which was pretty expensive but it was too big of a deal. The food here is top of the line. You can’t get any better for gourmet food at this price, and for a dang buffet. I enjoyed it, not as much as i could cuz Ben was tired and wanted to go back and we still had the trek back to Caesars Palace.
Trekked it on back, and it seemed a lot quicker... Decided to hit up the media room to see if we could request tickets for other shows. Made our request for all the shows we could. Looks like Jamie Kennedy was request interviews with the comedians for his documentary. Hes a pretty talk guy and a slow talker. Put our request in and headed back to the crappy hell hole we were staying in. We passed by Mesa Grill and saw Bobby Flay hanging inside the restaurant speaking to a group of people.
Ben took his nap, and i just chilled to finish up my last post. Its really hard to keep entries updated on some sort of hour bases with a cell phone in Vegas. I mean the having time factor plays apart, and i rather some sort of Internet connection and hope on my laptop. I know i could hit up the media room and use there Internet access but im kinda stuck with whatever Ben wants to do since he was driving.
Chilled out until 6ish, got ready and headed off to the Palace to see Dane Cook and George Lopez. It was still early, so just hung out at a bar. Talked it up with the bartender. Got me a pineapple and Malibu since I didn’t really want to get buzzed or whatever. Ordered a slice of pizza and it looks like Ray ordered some pizza on the otherside of the place. Its crazy to see all these comedians all over the place in a central place.
Met this dude Vince, who was here to check out the shows. He needed to find out where the Palace Ballroom was, where Dane Cook was performing. We headed on over there and took the really high escalator to the third floor. The doors seemed to be opened for people to come in and take seats. I tried to find whoever was handling the escorting in for photographers and no one was there. Left on back to the media room, and got some help. They escorted us into the backstage area. The escort chick left us and we were free to walk around. I don’t think we were suppose to be back there but after going through a few curtains and seeing the back of the stage. We were in the green room.
The green room wasnt really green. It was pretty red, it had a red tint and the plush round booth looking seats were red. They had a HBO/AEG backdrop for the usual photo and electronic television cameras. I noticed i was the only photographer back there and quickly observed that the other photographers were in the audience shooting out there. Whatever, no one was going to kick us out and this was my chance to meet Dane officially. I saw Dane come from where i came and i saw him, i gave him the Super Finger and he gave it back and we shook hands. Just hung out some more, and took in the green room. I noticed someone that looked familiar, but i thought he was with the camera crew. He was actually opening up for Dane. Robert Kelly was his name, we chatted a few and talked some. He was cracking the jokes and pulled one on me. Im not going to say what he said, but lets just say its what i went to Walgreen earlier for.
Robert performed on stage, and Dane came out for interviews. I took some photos of him. I really wanted to interview him, but i wasn’t really prepared and didn’t have my iPod with the mic. Just took the photos and watched Robert on the monitor.
Dane went on afterwards and of course with rockstar status. The green room filled up with people who paid 1500 for the platinum package for the festival. If you asked me, they were hell rude bumping into me without saying excuse me or even a sorry. Whatever. Grubbed on the pizza they had out and they had some salsa. Drank down the beer and just chilled out, watched the monitor and see Dane performed. The jokes he choose wasn’t as funny as i thought he could have been that night. He did lotta jokes from his comedy albums that he has released. I really wanted to hear jokes where I didn’t know the punch line due to hearing it 100 times over. He did the movie one, which is hilarious. Other than that, it was just pretty rad hanging backstage with him and talking to him.

After the show, he came back to the green room where the people back there jumped him. I just stayed back and took it in. It died down a little bit and Ben wanted to take a picture with him. He went up and talked to him, i whipped out my camera and took it. I counted it off 1, 2, 3 with my left hand and took it. Dane came up to me after and said how he liked the count off. We gave each other the brother hug, and i told him, no cheese, no cheese man. Its a joke he has done before at a show at the Laugh Factory i saw him at. He then said, awww man!! I should have done that joke, lets go back on stage and do it. He held out his hand like what you would do when you go on a stroll up to grandma’s house. I said lets go!! Then that was it, i said take care and went on the marry way. Walked out tot he exit and i didn’t want to leave. I had this high of meeting Dane and wanted to just be in his presence. Ben left to go see George Lopez. I could care less, saw him once and its all good.
Went back to the green room and hung out. I wanted to give Dane my car or even his manager my card. He seemed quite busy, and they both were huddled away in the corner to chat. I decided to leave. Headed off to the Colosseum back area to see if they still were allowing photographers. Which they didn’t since it was about an hour into the performance. The door security told me that he was almost done, so i chilled at the steps in front of the Colosseum. Sat there for a effin hour!! That thing didn’t get out until 1ish. Man i was like, I could be doing other things and having adventures on my own somewhere. But I didn’t have the car, a room key and Ben didn’t have a cell. So im screwed!!
Finally the show let out, and tried to figure out what to do. I resisted hitting the tables or any sort of gambling. Checked out Pure, and lines like crazy. Screw that.. Sat down at a video slots. Didnt even know what the heck was going on. I came to the conclusion that junk is just mindless pressing of buttons and losing your money. Good thing it was only a penny slot, and i lost 1.98 dollars, cashed out with 2 cents. There was this chick sitting next to us. She struck up a conversation with Ben and i didn’t want to be affiliated with her in anyway. Her ass acted like she had my number and knew things about me. That annoyed me so bad, but i just ignored her. Noticed Tom Leykis at the bar talking to some chick, and took a few photos of her.

I didnt know what mine and Ben signal was to abort, but we eventually left that wack chick and her friend and took a walk around the Forum shops down to the end. Rather weird but i would also think a little scary, saw these 2 chicks passed out. They were sleeping at what looked like a aquarium at the end of the forum shops. Kinda odd, but then again this is Vegas. Looking at the shops, man i really wish i had some money to throw away!
After that, it was around 2:30 and left back to the hotel. Unwind, and I didn’t fall asleep until four. One more day to go, lets make it a good one. I missed Bill Maher which i wanted to see, and a few others.
Me and Dane have somewhat of an inside joke!!!

A Little Less Conversation, a little more action!
Wednesday November 16th, 2005
Today... Nothing much of anything besides leading up to my vegas trip tomorrow. First trip just going without family and of legal drinking and gambling age. Its for work in a since of course, but lotta fun though. That's the beauty of my job. Soo much fun!
Why am I going? Ill be shooting the Comedy Festival in Vegas. The first one of many I hope. Just a 3 day festival of celebrating comedy with performances from Dane Cook. George Lopez, Jerry Sienfied, Dave Chappelle, Best Week Ever people, and so much more. Its just going to be loads of fun!
They are televising the Earth to America show. To the best of my knowlegde from some online info and tv commericals, just a bunch a comedians bringing awareness to global warming. Yes many comedians are librerals, get over it. Hahaha...
Oh! So I sealed the deal with illusionblue. A computer consultanting firm headed by an old classmate back in middle school. I was surfing craigslist a few weeks ago and saw an ad for technicians. Checked it out last week, met with the CEO who I knew back in the middle school days as the goto computer guy. it was pretty cool. Here's the catch, in a since I work for them but work for myself. Im renting out the desk, computer and other office amendities for $150 bucks a month. Im sure you are asking why are you paying to work. In my mind I am considering this an investment. I will be sent out on trouble tickets where I do make a good amount an hour plus mileage but the true benefit is another desk, office, computer to go to. The experience I will recieve and can be added to my resume, and dude he has every damn microsoft title among others.. Here's the thing, legally. I need a clean install of windows xp pro, I have the bootleg of windows 2k pro and it doesn't like me. So 150 is a small amount to pay for things invested that will be beneficial in the long run.
Anyways back to today. Went to class, and students are dropping like flies. Its funny, not the class is hard, just people not showing up. I spend most of my time trying to finish off reading books I haven't yet and im currently on michael moores dude where's my country. WOW!. I have farenhiet 9/11 and that got me so angry, and reading into this. The movie was soo watered down compared to the book. Just all the bullshit and lies, makes me mad. However, I do take it with a grain of salt, just bc its written doesn't make it true. Moore does quote other sources which make it a powerful written word. Just the lies, excuses, and just making the american people look a damn fool. I do admit, I supported the war, watching the news, hearing bush, so on and so forth I was for the war, I was for bush, I affliated with the republicians. I ordered the freedom fries. But cmon! Still no sign of weapons of mass distruction. Yes saddam is evil but america has a long reputation for putting dictators to power and supporting them. France supported us since the war of independance, and first to come after septeber 11th. Screw it, im not going to get into it. I do support the rich getting richer, I mean my dad worked his ass off to be where we are. If I stood back as an outsider looking in, we, when I say we, I mean my brothers and mom. Outsider looking in, I have it fuckin made. Beautiful house, food on the table, a working car, and all these luxuries. I take it for granted because im a ungrateful son, anyways more rambling. Yes rich getting richer... But I do have a heart. Yes I know due to popular belief I do have one. Im just not a fan of lies and deciet, a war based on it with american and innocent causalities. I have ben called liberal as an insult, like being on the school yard and caling little Billy fag or as adults whatever insult you can use. I do get angry when called that, but I shouldn't. It means I have a mind of my own to question things and not go with certain ideals because you belong to whatever party. I know someone where they wouldn't even watch a movie, day after tomorrow, because it was propaganda ridden about global warming. Give me a break. I watched it purely based on entertainment, I didn't believe it could happen and I didn't come away thinking dude, I better start hugging trees or the earth is going to freeze over and dennis quiad is going to have to travel from washington to new york to have jake gheyyhal. Ok enough of that.... Watch bill maher, my views are generally paralell to his.
Class finished. Went home. Tried to finish up some errands. Oh so I looked through this folder. Folder that held all my notes, iternary, info sheets and other stuff for my vegas tripped I planned out last march. Where I was going to see josh groban at manadalay bay. Looking through this, got me upset, then sad, then annoyed, lastly relieved. I had this whole trip planned for someone I cared about deeply, eehh unno. Im just happy its over, that feeling you have in your chest that you feel would never go away. However I do believe my plans will be carried out sometime in the future. You can only hope, but what I've said before.. Hope is just blind faith. But I do wonder.....
Hung out at home a little. Left to school to drop classes... Don't ask... Deposited a check at the bank, headed to the victoria gardens to buy another memory card for the fesitval just in case I couldn't dump the photos I take to my laptop. Decided not to, im pretty much a regular at ritz camera. One of the employees, jennifer. Such a cutie, has this punk rock vibe to her but really plain jane. Its really attractive to me. And I recalled her going to high school with me and I just came up with an apifany. In my mind, I recall this like rockablity girl in high school who wore this red dress, something you see back in the day, like 50s. Omg I think its her, she dated this guy. It HAS to be her, I keep seeing this lady in red in my head and it has to be her! Im soo going to ask her next I see her... Oh guys, if you know what a microdrive is, they are coming out with a better model, so make sure you get that instead of the older one.
Alex and derek were at the mall, so I met up with them for 5 minutes. They headed off to Active and I took derek with me because I was heading that way to Leslies house. Went there and left to Pei Wei to get dinner for me and her.
This place totally rules! Best "fast food" chinese food! They actually cook the stuf! Got me orange peel beef with brown rice and Leslie got the Spicy korean chicken with brown rice.
Off to house to hang a little. Oh, Ben hit me up at 7ish when I was at Ritz head over to my house. He was staying over since im right off the 15 freeway to Vegas and we were leaving in the morning.
So I still with Leslie for like 10 mins and I get a call and Ben is over already. It was barely an hour that past and I was figuring 30 more mins. Rushed on home and just chilled out. Went over a few things and yeahh.. I still gotta pack... We headed off to give a tour of my little town. Looks like Johnny Rockets is going to serve breakfast soon.. I wanna how that's going to be like...
Its 3.. And im trying to finish up this entry along with the last 3 you see and update the featured albums, Fort Minor and Michael Buble, before I get to Vegas for your pleasure! Hopefully I will, and hopefully I can blog while im over there with daily updates... If I don't, im either being robbed at the tables, pissed drunk peeing in the belliegio lake, or maybe, just maybe on a hotstreak. Wish me luck.. Don't forget, that's when preparation meets oppotunity. My money is prepped and my butt is opputune on that chair.
Things ill be saying.. HIT ME!!! & ALL IN!!!

Im a nerdy as they come, but so much cooler!!
November 18th, 2005
Portable Media Expo and Podcasting conference day is here. I’ve been receiving lots and lots of releases and requests from the exhibiters for a few weeks now to visit the booths. I didnt really plan on doing much on this event, however when i discovered Leo Laporte was the first keynote speaker. I had to go.
I can pretty say i grew up with him in my technology peak. I remember seeing Tech TV for the first time when i visited my uncle in Jersey and turned it on and saw the Screen Savers on Tech TV with Patrick Norton. I was sooo sucked, all the nerdy stuff i understood. I was disappointed when i got back home and didn’t have the channel. Years later, it finally got on Adelphia and yes. Hooked. However ever since Comcast, which in turn G4 bought and made it G4TECHTV. I went down hill, in a nut shell the network totally sucks now, and they dropped the TechTV, and now is only G4. Video game TV, whatever. I am bitter because some of my favorite television personalities, Leo Laporte, Patrick Norton, Kevin Rose weren’t on tv as much. I mean Kevin Rose still carried on The Screen Savers for awhile but he hightailed it out of there. The show change to Attack of the Show, they now have lame subjects and yeah. They even had a stint where the callers who called in were set up and were G4 employees calling. ANYWAY!! I am rambling. Leo, Patrick, Kevin among other TechTv alumni starting doing Podcasts.
If you didn’t know, Podcasts are basically a radio show in a since put online for you to download and listen on your computer and/or iPod. Subjects are various, name it and you will find it. Especially with the latest version of iTunes, 4.9, it makes them more readily available and showcase and puts them on the fore front. Still not catching a huge audience and with studies, 80 percent of podcasters and listeners are of the male gender, and in the 30-44 age range. As podcasting becomes more popular, it will be more known to the masses.
For myself, i listen to the tech podcasts, mainly this week in tech with Leo Laporte, Patrick Norton, Kevin Rose, Robert Hurand, Roger Chang, and many more. Each week is differnt as the speakers, but its fun to listen to. I started listening to this from day one, and just love to hear the guys speak on subjects i was used to hearing from these guys. Another tech podcast, would be Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht Diggnation. Digg.com is a social bookmarking website, dealing mainly of tech sorts. Diggers digg stories, the popular ones hit the home page for all to the read. Kevin and Alex each week review and talk about a handful of the top stories. Very fun to listen to. Other ones, Tips from the Top floor about Photography, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Roger and Ebert, and lately One Tree Hill Peytons. Even Josh Groban got in the podcasting on his members only club Friends of Josh Groban.
Wow,i am getting way into this and need to just talk more. I totally missed Leo Laportes Key Note since i couldn’t wake up for it at 8. I ws up way way too late the night before. I made it to the Ontario Convention Center at 11 when i finally woke up and got ready. Right when i entered the convention center, i see Alex Albrecht. I didn’t know why really he was there, then again he does have a podcast. I just found it so cool. I was thinking, like when i see him, my geeky side comes up and i do get instead of starstruck, i get nerd struck. I am more excited seeing my geek idols persay, but if i see another celeb, i could careless. i entered the hall, and picked up my badge.
Walked up and down the place. It not what i am used to. I am used to the massive scales of CES and Comic Con, that this was pretty tamed. I say maybe over 30 exhibiters were there. i just briefly walked up and down. I headed off to the Press Room to see what it was all about. Nothing too much. Had the usual coffees, and such. Just picked up a water and headed back out. Did some more walking around, checked out the schedule to see what conferences i wanted to check out. Off to the press room once again. this time they were serving lunch. Samwiches!! Picked a table, got some food and hung out. While hanging out and reading through the program booklet, i hear a familar voice and someone yell out Leo!
Another nerdstuck moment.. sorry. More and more he’s just so intelligent and his vast knowledge is amazing. On an episode of systm, Kevin Rose checks out Leo's podcasting equipment, i didn’t know but he has years of experience in radio and more in computers. Anyways, i couldn’t help but looking back and seeing him, chatting and so on. He was getting interviews from someone there by a videocamera, i hung out and just listened to him talk. I missed the Keynote and i had to just stand there in awe and listen. Such a nerdy moment!
Brief and headed off to the key note.. Just talked about yahoo podcasting service, looks like they are jumping on the podcasting little red wagon. I say that because its not that big yet.. HAHA.. Then ran off to the conference entitled Secrets of iPod and Itunes with Leo Laporte, Paul Griffin, Chris Breen, and Dan Frakes. Again I was here to see Leo talk, and even Paul. Paul Griffin is the head of Griffin Technology where you get the iTalk and iTrip. The conferenece was prettty basic and fun and all i wanted to do was hear the guy. I wish i brought my camera to take photos, i didnt think to but oh well. The thing was done at 3. I wanted to talk to Leo a bit to see when and where he was filming this week in tech aka tWit.
Walked on over to the show floor again and i see a rushing dude, and it was friggin Patrick Norton. Another yet again nerd stuck moment. Just saw him, walked by and left. Pretty much it. Then day 2, i dont see anything of interest but i do wanna see Chris Parillo talk... He was on techtv for awhile when he was hosting Call for Help. I wanna see what he has to say...
Yes i know, i am a total nerd but what can i do??

You are watching MADTV.....
Last last Friday.. October 28th, 2005

Friday... Hurray... The highlight of the day I was hoping will be the MadTV taping...
The morning wasn't fill with anything interesting. My older brother is back in town from Santa Cruz. Bummed it all morning until around 2ish. My class was leaving at 3. My Cinema professor is friends with the Mad TV Talent casting director. I was game to go with, since it was some sort of VIP access.
However I had to get a book at the bookstore for my history class. I've been putting it off for awhile and been doing decent without it, however I've been a lazy ass to go to the library and finish work. I was pretty much ready to go but the plumber came to fix my sink. First it was leaking, then the temperatures were switch, and then the sink seemed clogged.
After that was done being fixed, headed off to the school. Bookstore was still open however they didn't have any more used book and the new book was too expensive. Oh well...
Headed off to meet with the class. It was 3:03 and looks like im the last one there. There was about 9 of us. Exciting!
The drive there was boring.. No one was really talking and I wasn't feeling my outgoing self since I was feeling under the weather. I did learn a new route to Hollywood. We were averaging about 60 to 70 miles per hour and got into LA in 40 mins. Next time imma take the 210 to 134 to 5. I usually drive 80, so ill be there in 20 mins. Haha.
The way we took gave me a new way to get to the Greek Theatre. I've been to so many concerts there but man only distinct experiences stick out in my mind and not really privy to it. Sucks.
I love going a different route to places around Hollywood. I always see the same things because I take the same routes.
Made it to the Hollywood Center Studios. Parked it up in the D Lot and walked to the studios. I love being in studio back lots. I feel like a kid in a candy store. You don't know what shows are being filmed, what big names are walking around. I just love it. I would take the backlot tour at Universal Studios nonstop if I could. I mean I could but people I am with might not like it.
We head to studio 8 which is the Mad Tv filming studio. Pretty much just hang out. We were led in and saw a little of the rehearsals. I see a Wheel of Fortune set and I noticed someone that looks like Pamela Anderson. Dude it was her. I was like wow, she's pretty hott in person. However we had to leave because it was a close rehearsals.
Headed off outside, and just chilled out. I get on the phone to talk to Ben about some business. Couple events were coming up and we had to set some stuff up.
I noticed a guy that looks familiar. I used to be a Jimmy Kimmel show whore, attending and always watching. Im going to attend again next week to see Dane Cook. Whoop whoop!
Anyways.. He's the germen dude that wears glasses and always seems to be in a tank top and shorts.
Other people we saw were Frank Caliendo, Daniele Gaither. The class took pictures with them however again, not really big on pictures with celebs. Just not a thing. Im sure it came off as me being some snotty dude.
Pam came out and looks like she went to her dressing room. One of the PA told us we shouldn't even try to ask to take a pic because she feels all awkward. Oh well..
I just walked around and tried to take in the lot. I honestly just love back lots. So much action, celebs, Hollywood business goes on.
Professor Hill's friend came out to chatter with us. I totally can't recall her name, Kim comes to mind. She's the Talent director, who books the celebs and im thinking the musical acts too. Chatting up some stuff about that, she was really really mellow. I learned a few things but knew of what she told us. Then we got led back in..
At this point audience members were getting seated. Anyways. Ill give the cliff notes.. Don't really want to describe everything. If you are an avid madtv viewer and don't want to know about the skits then don't read on...
250th episode... 11th season... So it was a pretty big deal.. Wheel of Fortune sketch where "Pat Sejack" does things to have Pam bounce, shake, and jirate so her boobs would react. She was wearing this purplely blue cat suit. To be honest her boobs didn't move much since they are pretty umm fake and large.
Next was a summer camp thing. Pretty much worked the angle the head camp conseuler in this all girl camp was a lesbian. Had one black camper and pretty much did the racial black person in an all white surroundings.
Oh yeah... They had pre recorded video to show the audience to laugh to. Had a snoop dogg and pharrell drop it like its hot parody with the song called smoking too much pot. If you asked me, it felt kinda late. The video is like done and over with.
Other skits they showed I don't remember much.
Next... Had the opening skit with introductions. Played the angle one of the actors on the show grandmother was coming. Which was Pam Anderson with a walker and gray hair. Called her a GILF. They made use of the camera phones which will look pretty funny.
Next.. President Bush with a talk show. Enough said.. Typical playing off his stupidity and some scandals going on.
Last skit.. A real lame one about this chick who can't have a guy and their convo. All done in a cafeteria. Totally lame. Oh soo long..
Now for all the stuff in between. Mind you this took 4 hours for all this. Usually at show tapings there a funny guy to direct the crowd and such. Funny guy somewhat. Anyways.. They had a singing contest and this chick who was singing. Before she sang she had to announce she was jail bait.. Umm ok? They had some cheerleaders do a small tumble. Oh so entertaining. So that dude was passing out candy, hats, and shirt. Something he said that I've believe for the longest times. "Guys don't eat lollipops" haha im sorry.. You just don't.. If you do, do it not in public.
Anyways.. The thing ended at 10ish.. They had vip people say and the others go. Dude I thought it was gonna be like a little set tour after show wrap up party. No. It was to bring in another audience to be seat. Oh heck no. Im not gonna be sitting in here for who knows how long. Booked it outta there quick.
Left the way we came in. We were all standing around. I notice Bobby Lee in a Turkey outfit and point him out to my professor. He walks over and ask for a photo with the class. He was cool with it. I told him what's up when I saw him last week. Of course he was like who are you? Haha.. Again I wasnt into the photo. However Bobby was like we gotta get the asian guy in here. Professor was like now you wanna be in it now. I was like nah its cool. Again didn't want to seem like an asian nob. I ended up getting in standing right next to him. Took the pictures and what not... Sidenote... So im reading Bobby's bio on MADTV.com and it mention him being in Harold and Kumar go to White Castle.. Then it rang a bell, he was the Korean student asking John Cho's character about being a bank inventor or something.. That was funny and a couple scenes later you see him with his shirt off with weed.. haha. funny stuff..
Now off to the Van and to get some friggin food. I throw out the idea to go see Dane Cook at the Laugh Factory. Anyways, went to go El Pollo Loco. I actually never been so I was semi ecstatic. I saw the commercial for the tortilla soup and wanted to try. I've been addicted ever since Leslie made it for me.
Again it was whatever. Here's the funny thing. One of the chicks was sitting across from me. She got a phone call, hey I wasn't ease dropping. It was the typical call, pretty much an update on the night. She said something that made me laugh. Here it is.. "Uhh no" then a giggle. Ok it doesn't make sense and no you don't have to be there to get it. I can bet a million dollars what the person on the phone ask. You ready?... "Are there any cute people in your class" and again her answer, "uhh no" giggle... Hahaha why do I think this? Dude everyone asks this, EVERYONE. I get calls and people ask me. I wouldn't be on the phone with them if there were. Trust me. I just found that rather humorous.
Then the ride on home... I felt a little more outgoing and talked a bit more. Other than that. Pretty much a whatever ride home. I nodded off... Hope I didn't snore, but I felt awake..
Tortilla Soup.... yum..

Hold'em!
Monday October 24, 2005
Wow another uneventful day until later on in the night. I mean its a Monday.. You cant really expect much. But ive found myself to have much more fun during the week than the actual weekend, like normal people do.
I just feel like my mind is just rotting away. From starting at my computer screen and watching tv shows and such... I need to start reading more and stimulate my mind..
Anyways... Jovana calls, shes at work and gets off at 10ish.. My mind is only failing me, and making me sleep. Maybe its just my lazy tendencies when i have nothing really planned for the day besides errands... I get ready and head on over to the Gap.. Oh yeah.. She tries to buy me, by purchasing me a Gap scarf. HA!! yeah right! Gap clothing is such poor quality. When i feel the shirts compared to my Express ones.. Ehh.. However i do like the scarfs from Gap.. Anywho!!
Meet up with her, and we try to find out where we want to have some dinner. Mind you, its 10:30 and nothing is really open. Chili closes at 11, the restaurants at the mall are closed... The typical option is Dennys, and thats a very poor one.
I throw out the idea of Dolce.. I was kinda craving it.. However i called over there and the kitchen closes like at that very moment and the bar closes at 12... Totally sucks.. So we just decided to check out Fatburger.. I didnt even know it was open, but Jovana reassures me it is. If its not open, then hey Bostons is right there..
Head on over there, it is open but closing... Well i know where im going to lunch.. I cant believe we got one, its kinda funny since its typically known for being a Los Angeles bases fast food joint.
Went to Bostons, got up into the bar... I heard about the poker game they have for the bar patrons. You get this little computer console, where you play Texas Hold em on against other people in the bar. A flat screen above the bar is dedicated for just that. I noticed a guy at the bar playing, he had over 23000 bucks, and honestly he seemed like a regular. I wanted to take him out, and while doing that, have my name on the high score list. Yes, i know.. I am pretty vain like that..
Long story short.. After losing twice because i was messing around. I decided to play smart and forreal. While i was playing, Jovana was too and learning.. i wasnt too worried about her. It took me about 2 hours to finally beat the guy. After a few good hands.. and going on in.. I finally beat him!! I was glad.. He was pucking me, raising before the flop. Friggin Jovana, i wanted to say good game to him, but she was like dont... He looks sad.. i hope he doesnt know it was you that was playing.. HAHA..
I wanted to stay there until it closes to make sure my name was on record, which it was.. Boston just plays the best music... I figured it was XM Radio KIIS FM station... So yes... My score of over 45000 with my name was up there..
I would say it was a good way to spend a Monday night.. Over 3 hours eating some food and playing some poker... Yes, we did order some food. Im trying to eat light so i got me a salad... I would love to go back to Bostons and play against some other people or with friends while drinking..
I challenge anyone!!!

Spins + Cookies = LOVE.
Last Saturday October 22, 2005
Hurray!!! Highlight of the Day will be the Dane cook comedy show tonight.. Earlier in the week, on Monday.. I was wanting to go to the Katrina Comedy Benefit with him, Jay Mohr, and a few other people. However the people running it wasnt looking for someone from a small media outlet. So this was going to make up for it.
Pretty another day of boredom!!!! Well it got better when it was the evening... Lame ass Nohemi had to go to the mall to get a gift and buy some perfume for the night.. I picked her up and we headed over there.. Wow it was soo crowded.. Then again.. There’s NEVER anything to do in Rancho... So they all come out to watering hole... The central effin watering hole.. Oh ok.. Heres my theory.. If you go to the mall, you are there for more than 30 mins and don’t shop and buy anything. Also if you don’t eat at a restaurant, the food court doesnt’t count.. You are a Mall rat.. No if and or buts about it..
After driving around like mad to find a parking spot. I just dropped Nohemi off at Yard House.. Found a parking spot. Headed off to Coffee Bean to get a Strawberry and Cream Green Ice Tea. YUM!! Met Nohemi at Robinson May, where she got the Britney Spears Fantasy.. Im not a huge fan, i prefer Paris Hilton's scent. I made sure we ran out of that place as fast as possible. So i just power walked it, while she just lagged behind. Cant blame her since she was in heels or whatever..
We made good time.. Whenever i head over to LA. I like to stick to a schedule and such so i don’t get effed over.. Left Rancho at 7.. OH!! While headed to the Victoria Gardens..Nohemi came on testing me and got on my nerve. Ive never felt someone so much on my nerve EVER!! Like i got sooo peeved that i just told her she better just chill the heck out, or i was going to just take her home.. I am usually a rational person, but when i get pushed too far.. Man O Man.. Well i know i calm down when i play some music and sing along. It relaxes me so dang much!! Just turned on the Ryan Cabrera, and we were on our way..
Got into Los Angeles around 8. I wasnt’t too sure where we were going to eat. I wanted to get into Beverly Hills to check out a few restaurants.. Time was a little strained, so i just rolled into Hollywood.. I wanted to check out Geisha House, but i wasnt’t too sure on the wait and we had to be at the Laugh Factory at 9:30 to pick up tickets and what not. I just exited Hollywood Blvd, if it was crowded, we could have headed off to Hollywood and Highland Complex to eat at California Pizza Kitchen or the Wolfgang Punk restaurant in the Renaissance Hotel...
Man i hate driving on Hollywood Blvd... Literally takes a good 20 mins when you exit the 101 to even get to the Kodak Theatre. BLAH!! Finally made it to Cherokee and parked right across the street. It was getting a little foggy over, i love it. Winter is coming!!
Headed on into the Geisha House.. I was hoping it wasnt too crowded since i didnt make any reservations and didnt have the number to call them. We were in luck. There was room at the Sushi bar. I would have preferred to sit in the dining room, since there is much more to see and observed. However we were in a hurry and beggars cant be choosers.

Geisha House Sushi Bar
Since i am the Geisha House conisuier. I ordered our dinner. I wanted to get some Sake and some raw fish. However Nohemi isnt really into it. So if any of you are out there that is into it.. Im soo down to roll.. So we get the Robata-Yaki beef skewers. Robata just means cooked in an open flame. It was Filet mignon, asparagus, salt, pepper with a Teriyaki glaze. That was some good stuff. Mixed Tempura.. Usually zucchini, shrimp, peppers, and sweet potatoes. Then some Calamari. The sushi.. Over the Rainbow Roll. which had Salmon, Yellowtail, tuna, albacore, and shrimp. Then the Hollywood roll. Crab tempura, avocado and cucumber. Nohemi asked for a California roll. That isnt sushi.. If you go to a sushi joint.. and get California roll.. Dont claim to eat sushi.. Speak the truth and say i got a California Roll at a Sushi place and not i went for sushi.. Just a peeve..
Ok ok.. So I figured out why the first time I went to the geisha house and didn't like it. It was after the Alicia Keys at the Kodak theatre. I was feeling really sick all week long and after. I figured my taste buds were just screwed up. Why? When I ate the over the rainbow roll... Omg the fish just melted in my mouth... Its the best sushi I've had... I really wished I got some sashimi... Oh well! Even way better than Sakana in Upland... The best so far.. However I haven't been to Koi, Katana or Sushi Roku...
Well it was around 9:40.. We were rushing out of there because we were told we had to be at the laugh factory at 930 to guarantee seating or whatever.. Towards the end of dinner, the Geishas were out walkign around. They were pretty tamed and clothed, not like the first time i was there when the house DJ had a see through nighty with her wearing a thong. =)
The Geisha House got hella crowded around the bar area. Hella grip of Asians standing around doing shit and not even holding a drink. I guess the tour bus just dropped them off... Just kidding.. Don't be mad asian visitors... =)
It was sprinkling outside a little bit. It was soo nice... In the city of angels with the weather I love.
Got up onto Sunset Blvd, not daring to take Hollywood Blvd.. We made it to the Laugh Factory and dude!! There was soo many people outside.. Im not good with numbers but i say there was over 150 people chill outside in a line.
I was driving all over the place and neighborhood to find a parking spot. With luck, i ran across a valeted car being taking away and there opens a perfect parking spot. You are never that lucky.. Especially on the weekends in friggin West Hollywood...
Walked on over... to the long line.. I wasnt even sure why it was soo long.. Then again.. It is Dane Cook.. We walk to the back, and just stood there.. I was wondering, was this line for the Will Call, where my tickets were? Or just line of people.
Eventually i figured i had to go get my tickets at will call.. Which i did.. I had a vip ticket and a general admission ticket.. Great... The Vip ticket allowed me not to wait in that stupid line, but i couldnt leave Nohemi behind. I went back and gave her the choice of going in first or waiting... I mean cmon, its not a hard choice.. Though it did take her forever to decide.. She took the ticket and headed to the entrance.
While i was standing there.. These middle aged woman were bitching and moaning how they were waiting in a line. How they shouldnt be waiting in line because they had reservations. I catch wind that they didnt even have tickets. So i talked to one of them and gave them my best explaniation of the situation. I said even though you have reservation, it doesnt mean anything. You didnt come early enough, plus you dont have any tickets. So a few of them went to the front to go bitch some more. One chick who was holding a coke can, which i was sure filled with some whiskey, came up to me and said, thanks for fucking up my buzz.. WOW.. i was like.. i think yall stupidity and lameness fuck up your chance to get in. Of course i didnt say it outloud.. I am so passive aggresive sometimes, its horrible.. You are looking at a never honking or bird flipping California driver.. Isnt many of those..
After waiting inline a bit. Nohemi calls me and tells me they are letting people in with tickets. Shoot... I ran up to the front as fast as possible..
We got in pretty darn quick. The door dude was yelling out that people with tickets can go to the front. So i take it pretty much everyone who was out there didnt have a ticket to get in. I dont really get why they were waiting out there. Maybe a chance to purchase a ticket.
Went on into the place and wow it was small. However it was a little bit bigger than the Improv in Hollywood. Since we have one VIP ticket, the seat sat us in the front. Just about 4 rows of seats back. Good stuff!!
Tony Rock was the host of the night. Before i get to him. There was this chick sitting behind us. I SWEAR Ive seen her somewhere. She is soo pretty. Its like this white chick with wonderful eyes and full lips. Honestly i know ive seen her somewhere, and I was fighting every urge to talk to her. Asked her where ive seen her or something. The whole night i kept on looking back.. well not during Dane Cook's set. But yeah.. So so pretty!!
Tony Rock.. Opening dude. He was a black dude and his jokes pretty much only consisted of racial jokes. Surprise? Not really. There were these two dudes in the front who was trying to hassle him. It was totally annoying. I get that you want to have fun and enjoy. But being stupid and dumb is just retarted. They were trying to get attention. There was a dude who just met some chicks there named Daniel. A politian from Washington, like a Young Replication type group i guess. Pimping the chicks. Another subject for Tony was some chicks birthday and her friend who had a boob reduction. Fun!!
First comic, Jo Koy. Funny guy. You might have seen him on VH1 I Love the 80s 3D. Hes the one with the blad head. Anywho.. He had some funny jokes about kids and screwing. What made me laugh the most of the jokes about Phlipinos, about how they speak. He had a joke about they are obsessed with Karoake. How his father cant speak English very well but when he sings hes speaks it perfect. I foudn it funny because i have a lot of Phlipino friends and ive experienced the parties and such..
Up next... Butch Bradley.. i didnt find him that funny, but Nohemi found him totally hilarious. He was joking about scary movies and such. Not too much to get me going. I was just waiting for the Dane Train!!
Dane Cook!!! First let me talk about the Dane Cook hoes. You know.. The chicks who jock Dane Cook because EVERYONE else is. I aint going to lie, hella hot but also rude. It was just kinda funny. So Dane comes out and i gave him a high five. He rocks!! Hes kinda bumming it recently. Saw him on Too Late with Adam Carolla the night before and hes just dressed up in sweats, t shirt, and hat. Tonight isnt any dif. Abercombie Sweats, Colbey T shirt and a Hat.
He had a long long set which i love. I was hoping he didnt do his material from Harmful if Swallowed or Retaliation. His comedy CDs. He didnt do any but like 3 minor snippits of jokes to segway into other jokes I love it!! Ive seen him before on the Dave Attel Insomniac tour! He was talking about relationships and movies which was totally funny!! Everything he said was just plain funny. You guys have to see him when you get a chance.. You just have too!! I am planning to go see him in Vegas at the huge ass Comedy Fesitival!! My title of this post wont make sense to most of you, however go to his show and youll know what im talking about!!
After Dane was done, the Dane groupies ran into where his dressing room was. Highly expected!! haha.. Dane came down the aisle and he shoulder blocked me.. ASS!!! haha jk.. He did though, but its all good!! I wanted to stick around because Dane stays back after his shows to hang with the fans and do the usual autographs and what not. I didnt want to seem like a huge groupie!!
Anyways.. Left.. I wanted to club it up afterwards. It was barely like 1130ish. Then i smelled the street hot dogs!! I was wanting it but my only rules for getting it is that you get a dog after a night of clubbing. You cant leave LA without it!

Bad Boys Bad Boys.. What cha gonna do!!!

Tuesday..
Today!! The Henry's Block Party thing. Pretty was going to be the highlight of my day. For those who doesnt know what Henry's is. Its like a Trader Joes.. but bigger.. For those who dont know what Trader Joes is.. Its like a healthy organic specialty store. However Henry's was more of a farmers market as a Supermarket. Anywho!!
Went to the Post Office to pick up a package which i was sure was a Press Kit from Dreamworks. It was around 3 and the Post Office closes at 3:30. Wow was there so much people... The line was ricdonkulous!! Took around 30 mins to finally get up to the front and get a little package. Annoying if you asked me, but i didnt care really.
Alex tells me he was going to Johnny Rockets and i told him to get me something. I ended up meeting up with them anyways. He was with Christine and Felicia, and i just came to get a salad. I was hella craving it and thats like the ONLY good thing at Johnny Rockets. I kinda liked the shakes but hella got over that real fast.
Got back home around 4ish to check out the Josh Groban chat session on MSN Chats. It took an hour for like pretty much nonsense. Like only 4 questions were answered. However i did learn a few things... The 3rd album is slated for a Summer 2006 release, and a tour to follow in the fall. He has a new terrier pussy named Sweeney. I can only guess Sweeney Todd. Favorite veggie is corn. You can tell hes a total funny guy, when one of the questions was what he was wearing. Josh answered.. top hat, big sunglasses, bicycle shorts and Eskimo shoes. Totally laughed my butt off there. Last thing was that he described his perfect day.. consisted of waking up early with coffee, have someone watch his dog, hop on a rollercoaster, perform a concert, have dinner with family, ride a motorcycle that he doesnt have yet, and sit and watch family guy with a bowl of gummy worms. Sounds like a great day...
The chat ended a little after 5 and i headed off to Starbucks to do some studying and blogging. I need to be out of my house to concentrate, and keep my mind focus. It just sucks that when im out, some point i need to use the Internet to look up something. Im not going to pay 30 bucks for that t mobile Hot spot service but my wireless port is messed up anyways. Got the usual Ice Chai latte.. When outside and read some... Read a chapter from Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain. Wow, i was shocked out a chapter ended. It ended to the effect of a wedding reception in the restaurant Anthony worked in.. The bride came and propositioned one of the cooks and they were getting at it in the alley. Talk about the perfect wife...
Man, im starting to hate smokers more and more. I know i am outside of the Starbucks but these two people kept on smoking nonstop for i swear was 30 mins. It got to me like nothing!! ARRGGHGHH!!! Alex rolled on by to chill and i went back to doing my thing for a little. I was going to hit up Jesse to roll to the Henry's thing... Alex and I decided to hit up Active for a little bit and drove by Henry's. Wow packed much??
Active.. nothing much there.. totally boring and whatevers. It was around 7, so we headed up to Jesses and headed down to Henry's. Alex raced Jesse BMW and yeah.. His RSX beat it. Got over there.. Parking was mad mad crazy. But it seemed pretty awesome.. They had music and lines of people getting food and what not. Took a little lap around.. met up with Ryan. Went inside the store which i didnt even know was going to be open. Sampled it up like crazy.. Prior to going to the block party thing... I already knew i was going to act a fool. I havent in sooooo long.. Man i remember when i used to just do whatever just for laughs, and not even care if i got in trouble or whatever. It was nice, and sooooo liberating.
Walked around.. got some samples.. it was soooo packed!!! You couldnt really walk around... I am the ultimate leader... Other people just walk around and bump and crap, while i lead pretty well.. HAHA.. im way way too used to being in public places.. we ran across the soup bar... Got some soup and walked around the store eating it. SOOOO wrong.. and got this chocolate muffin and walked around with hat. I didnt eat either of them... I just handed it off to Alex.. and Jesse would share with him.. I love this place because of its offering of various nuts, trail mixes, and other yummys in huge barrels. More samples of cheeses.. Sharp White Cheddar.. YUM!!
Got back outside.. Now here comes the fun... We go outside trying to find SOMETHING!! ANYTHING TO DO.. Just took another lap, joking around and what not. Until!! I hear the Hip hop electric CHA CHA!! Like where they tell you to step forward, or slide to the right, jump, stomp your foot and so on... I remember i used to tear this dance up in high school during rallys.. I had sooo much fun and i just thought dude im soo going to dance. So while we were walking around and such.. I would do the dance where i was and if i was walking around i would do the dance and clap to it. One point, i actually was on the dance floor doing it with the parents and kids. However since no one joined me.. I left it.. In the corner of my eye.. i noticed someone in a black uniform follow me... I pointed it out to Jesse and was like why is that person following us. We stopped and she called me over. Now here is the conversation
Her: Where are your parents at??
Me: Im 21.. i dont have my parents here with me. Why would they be with me?
Her: You are 21 and acting like that??
Me: Acting like what?? Im dancing here. The music is on to dance. (Saying this while still dancing in place) Note: As you can tell, not really scared yet... hahah yet)
Her: ::Quiet and looking at Me::
Me: ::Looked at her boob.. just kidding.. looked at her badge and noticed she was a cop.:: (got a little more serious but still playing it off still dancing::
Her: Is this what you do?? Go around trying to look cool in front of your friends
Me: What i do?? Again.. the music is on for dancing
Her: ::Quiet::
Me: ::Pauses:: (Trying to be the smart ass like i am, but i choose to call it, talkative)
Me: I love this store.. Thats why im happy.
Her: ::Gives me a look, like im lying to her::
Me: I always go to the one in Chino Hills, and im happy this one is opening here
Her: Can i see your id??
Me: ::Looking for my ID, and hands it to her::
Her: ::Takes it, looks for 2 seconds, gives back::
Me: ::Puts it back in wallet, and walk away::
OMG!! So i got rolled for dancing!!! I mean give me a break. In hind sight, i wished i got her badge number to report a complaint for harassment. I mean i would have totally understand if i was waiving gang signs, held a weapon, bumped in to people, or was cursing or something. However i was doing anything!! People ive told thought she was hitting on me.. HAHAHA.. i dont think so.. She was pretty young, i would say late 20s, but nah.. That brought my night down a little bit.. Left about 40 mins which was like 830ish..
Driving up Daycreek.. We were racing some more... Jesse burned out at Banyon and i laughed my ass off sooooo bad!! I dont know.. I was just in this high.. I got rolled by a cop... I am sure i was going to get rolled again. I mean dude.. My first speeding ticket i got.. 30 mins after.. i was driving like 80 around the Ontario Mills loop in Del Taco.. There was a Ontario Cop who was chilling there.. HAHA.. He was all saying that it was a race course and he was going to give us a ticket for wreckless driving and exhibition of speed. HAHA.. Us as in me and Jesse.. We were in separate cars... Anywho!!! We were safe.. but so many people were staring and at Day Creek Park...There were coaches and football players staring at us laughing racing our butts off...
Hung out at Jesses a little bit. I wanted to kill time because Steve was getting out of church and we were going to go watch a movie. After hanging a little bit.. Went to go get my car i left at Starbucks and back to Alexs to hang out a little bit and kill some time. Jovana calls me.. well i didnt know she called.. She called at her work which i didnt know the number and yeah.. I didnt get a hold of her after i left Alex. I hung out there, talked to his mom a little bit and told her a little of my run in with the po-po..
Steve calls.. told him the times for the movie we were going to watch at the Victoria Gardens.. Two for the Money.. The showing was at 9:40.. It was 9:30.. was going to be a little late.. headed off to the Gardens and called Jovana again.. She wanted to see if i could take her home.. told her i was checking out a movie. She wanted to come and yeah.. I went to the Gardens and chilled outside of the Gap. It was getting pass 9:40, however Steve calls me and says hes going to another theatre to see the 10:05 showing and told me about the 10:55 one. Jo was hungry so decided to ditch Steve and check out the later showing and get dinner. She wasnt out just yet, and i saw Casey at Johnny Rockets when i drove by and decided to go there for a little. I had to use the restroom anyways.. Got an Oreo shake... used to the bathroom.. headed back to the Gap and she was out... I kinda wanted to eat around the Gardens... but it was 10 and things were pretty much closed.. Headed off around the Mills...
Ended up eating at Bostons because i wanted to visit Nohemi. She wasnt there!! What a punk!! Jovana hasnt eaten there yet, so it was all good.. The food here is pretty decent.. Its crazy how the place stays open until 2.. The bar seems to always be popping. They were playing some tight music.. Music i would soo love to hear while im buzzing my butt off!! They also have like Poker you can play against people in the bar.. Very interesting.. We were trying to rush the eating... the movie started at 10:55 and it was like 10:30.. Some fun conversation.. and planning of Dolce dinner date and our New York Christmas trip.. SOOO cant wait!!!!!
Ran outta that place!! Off to the Edwards theatres.. We were like 10 minutes late.. it wasnt that bad.. We didnt miss much from the movie... Two for the Money with Al Pacino, Matthew Mconghay, and Rene Russo. Oh and Jeremy Piven!! One of my favorite actors.. Love him.. They made him be the heel to the effect of his character in Entourage.. The movie. about sports betting... Thats pretty much it.. Matthew Mconghay is this low Vegas 900 number sport picker until Al Pacino takes him in. I dont have much more to say about the movie, but i liked it.. I love how Jovana is at the movies... Im not going to say what exactly what it is, but i like it! hehe..
Took her on home.. Headed off to Jesse work.. Hung out a little there.. Made plans to hit up Henry's tomorrow morning... and yeah.. Got home around 2 and knocked out.. Pretty much a full day but ended on a good note.. Im planning to do some more illegal dancing this Saturday at the "2 Be Free" 2006 Spring Collection runway show in Hollywood..LA Fashion week coming up!!! I might get in trouble again because Paris Hilton and a few other people will be there, and imma grind grind grind Paris.. hahaha..
Dancing is NOT a CRIME!

I am beginning to think I eat out too much...
Last Thursday
BORING Day... pretty much... Sooooo boring that i had to get out of the house.. Hopped in my car drive around and bumped my Maroon 5 Live Friday the 13th CD. Wasted Years baby.. wasted years.. Driving around is soo nice especially when the weather is just right. Just wished i had a convertible to experience it. Anywho.. Nohemi hits me up, and we make plans to meet up at the mall. I wasnt even decent so went home to get to it. Headed to the Gardens.
Met up with Nohemi.. which we had a little tiff about where to park. Chicks these days.. Always gotta argue and such. Let this be known.. You cannot win an argument against me, even if im wrong.. Im still going to win. Anyways!!
Made 2 stops at Ambercombie and Urban Outfitters. She had to go return some. Then off to Coffee Bean to get me some Strawberry and Cream Green Tea. Some good stuff.. and pretty healthy for you and taste yum yum.
Off to Express... Looks like they were having a swap meet sale. Like all there crap in boxes and you have to look through it. Found me a nifty key chain leather thing... Money clip holder.. Cuff link that would go awesome with this shirt and a pair of jeans.. I own like 50 pairs of Express Jeans. I mean cmon they are out of the Express Design Studio scientific blah blah or whatever it is.
More walking around.. Ummm headed off to Robinson May... So i can make Nohemi buy the Paris Hilton perfume. That is some good smelling stuff. Im addicted to it as much as i am addicted to Love Spell scent from Victoria Secret. We detour on the way there when we cross one of her friends who worked at that sunglass place. Chit chatted a few and yeah..
Off to Macys.. Shopped there a few.. Tried to make Nohemi get the Paris Hilton perfume.. YUM!! But she didnt.. Went to California Pizza Kitchen to visit one of her friends. Saw Mindy.. Love her!! I think she was with mom or grandmother. didnt really say much to her..
Dinner at Kabuki.. Got some sushi.. Unagi and avocado rolls!! Suuhhh good!! Yellowtail.. Philly Roll and some Sashimi.. She totally didnt eat any of the raw fish.. What kind of sushi eating is that.. Im sorry but if you only eat California rolls.. Thats not eating sushi and stop claiming it to be sushi.. Theres a reason why its called California Rolls... Anywho.. Some very very intense conversation.. So intense it got Nohemi crying.. hehe. I laugh because it was a bad thing.. Just some things i told her got her all emotional and such.. Shes such a baby... I love it!! After closing down the place and after some Fried Green Tea ice cream.. YUM!! We left..
She ran into her friend that worked at CPK, and hung out with him. I guess he had a bad bad night on his birthday the night before going to a gay club.. That was pretty much my night... Fun Fun!!
Last Friday..
Didnt do anything!!! Highlight!! Going to the Gardens to get dinner at the Mongolian Grill.. Thats it! OH!! I totally saw my old Geometry teacher.. i think her name was Miss. Merrel.. However it looks like she got married.. I saw like kids everywhere and babys rollers.. It looked like the mall was having some sort of fair thing.. In 2 weeks.. its going to be there one year anniversary.. They are going to have fireworks.. and im SOOOO THERE!!!!
Last Saturday...
Had class in the morning.. and pretty much dont know what happened after that... until that night.. Headed on over to Pico Rivera to Derrick's birthday party.. I didnt really want to go drive out there for a little thing, but Derricks a pretty good friend and besides.. I was didnt have plans. The plans i had with Lisa are always a bust.. shes the hugest flake ive ever met and didnt really expect much...
The drive wasnt too bad.. I was droved in my jeans, blazer, pink shirt. I havent wore it since Tanya wedding, so i though.. Lets break it out.. It was either the pink one or the lime green one.. The party was at the Tammick Inn. Its like this steak house lodge time deal. It was pretty cool.. Everyone was pretty much there.. Alex... David... Orlando... Jordan.. Mark.. Tim.. Jose.. Mike.. and so on... Im not gonna get into it much but lets see.. Derrick has a hot hot mom and sister.. The bartending chick was wack and served me wack Vodka and tonic.. Eww! Grey Goose or bust!! They were doing karaoking and i didnt know how loud i was singing along. I mean me and Orlando were singing, and Derricks mom came over and told me to sing and i was like nah i didnt want to. Mark was set up by Timmy to sing Jimmy Buffets Son of a Sailor which was soooo hilarious!! I was laughing, and of course Derricks mom asked me why i was laughing because i was next.. i found i song i would sing but i wanted to sing it with her.. Summer Loving.. hehehe.. OH!! Mark has a hot hot sister... You can totally tell she got booby implants because dude she put them all out there. I remember i heard about her job.. and whats sweet is that Mark, her brother helped her pay for them.. Aww thats brotherly love.. I know they are Branding Iron whores.. and those would be 2 reasons for me to start going to that place.. haha.. Derrick finally got plastered, so plastered he had to be sent home.. Derrick never drinks!! We have gone to Tijuana and he wouldnt even touch a beer because he doesnt want to get caught because hes trying to be a cop.. Man before he was sent home.. He was drunk dancing his ass off!!! It was hilarious!! Funny guy outside was bumping that Chris Brown song over and over thinking he was tight and a dude was leaning against his Civic and he got all mad like he was leaning against a Bentley or something. It was a toll up Civic.. That was funny.. Derrick cousin is a drunk cutie! hahahah.. Pretty much thats it..
Left around midnight.. So my gas light was on when i got to the place and i thought to just see how fair i could go.. Where the 210 and 57 met, i felt my car loose party and it totally tripped me out. I exited off a street and drove down hoping there was a gas station. Which there was.. Hurray!! End of a pretty good night...
Last Sunday...
Went to the mall with Alex and Lindsay.. I dont have my car on Sundays, and i was hungry and wanted to be out.. Shopped some.. Checked out T Mobile for Alex and his stupid sidekick.. Went to Sephoria to get some hair product.. Jonathan Product Dirt baby!! I was thinking about getting some Lip Venom but i didnt.. hahahah.. Jovana got me into that and its feels good!! Had lunch at CPK, i treated since it was Lindsays birthday a few days ago or whatever.. Headed on home and went to class at 6. Finished watching the Searchers and talked about it a little. Started to watch American Graffiti, which looked interesting.. Got home.. Chilled out.. Had a Laguna Beach hook up... hahaha.. and that ended my weekend decent.. hahahaha... If you know what i mean..
I really need to stay on top of this...

Baby im back!!!
Blah!! I need sleeping pills. Anyone who have some.. please send them my way. Send them to PO BOX 554 Etiwanda, CA 91739. That is my actual box.. Please send whatever you like.. sorta.. thats legal.. in the US.. Sexy pictures are welcome.. anywho off topic.. Got into bed 3 am last night and had to be awake for a meeting at 11 in the morning in Culver City.
Woke up and i was soo out of it. I think it was like 8ish? I had to wake up to finish up a few things. Check my emails.. Had to finish up my Ashlee Simpson article. I am lagging it. Wish i did, i think by far i was very very like commentary instead of summary type. I want to be more of a raw writer. Click here to read it... Its unedited, so no comments on that please..
Left my house at 9:40 and made it there right at 11. Man i think it was the most freeways i have traveled on one day. 210 East... 605 South.. 10 West... 101 North.. 110 South.. 10 West.. 405 South.. Trust me i had SOOO MUCH fun. I had a air con headache.. A headache brought on by too much driving and the air conditioner on. It sucks.. Anyways.. this meeting was with Sergio from Socal.com. An online events site mainly with a editorial focus. I was meeting to see if i could write for them. I got the hook up through Danielle, who i met at the Ashlee Simpson concert, who reviewed the show and i hooked her up with a photo i shot. Met Sergio, long story short.. He covered what the site was all about, the operations of it all. and so on. Something that turned me off.. It was an internship.. Which means... No pay.. Omg it totally sucked, but then again... Im not worried so much about it because this will add to my contacts, and to more events where i could write and add to my resume. More range on what i cover. And of course, i can take photos and sell those off. Its not a big deal, also they will compensate for parking and such. This will work perfectly around my other situation. Which I will talk about a little later on..Socal.com does seem to have a good footing with things happening around Los Angeles. I cant wait to start covering events for them..
Left around 1230.. Wanted to grab some lunch with Ben and hang at the Weekly.. However he had an interview to do. Then headed off to my dads work at MWD to have lunch with him. My whole plan for the day was the meeting at Socal.com then lunch with Ben, and off to ISS Props. The ISS stands for Independent something something. Its the biggest prop house in the world, providing props for such films and television shows such as 24, The OC, War of the Worlds to name a few. When i was working as in box sales.. You know boxes.. Well the industry name is Paper sales.. Anywho.. They were one of my customers, and i had a great rapport with Brian.. From what i remember was the warehouse manager. I wanted to take a tour of the place, i know i would be soo amazed and what not, just to see another aspect of the entertainment industry. However i totally forgot my camera and i didnt want to take my tour there with out documenting it. Ill check it out some other time.
Made my way to the Union Station, which is connect to the MWD offices. Dude this place is sooo tight, it has a kitchen with like a deli section, entree section and some other section. These chefs like prepare your stuff and its a lot nicer than some fast food joint, a lot healthier and faster! Got myself tuna sandwich on whole wheat, green tea and a fruit salad. Hind sight.. which i got a salad or something... Anywho.. Chilled out for a little until 2ish. Left on back to Rancho. I really didnt want to go. I wanted to spend the day out here. i called up Orlando since i was by LMU, and wanted to hang out and maybe see Kristin?? haha.. Or hang with Ben afterwards.. At that point though, I was really out of it.
Just headed back.. I sent my article to the Herald. and decided i should just meet up and have things settled, not have them lingering over my head and the back of my mind. Called up and talked to Russ and yeah.. I got over there around 3ish. Oh, im not going to talk about what happened but it sucked and i was kinda whatevers about it. Dude it was sooo windy, its all peace and quiet, then in Fontana.. soo windy!! Met up with Russ and Anita.. Chatted a few, again long story short.. Doing my thing back there.. If theres an event i want to cover and i cant cover it for the Herald.. my fall back will be Socal.com.. And if that doesnt work.. Hopefully i can roll along with the LA Weekly and Ben.. If i do that, i dont have to worry about covering it.. Just only remembering things to blog it out!
After a few meeting... When to get me some Musubi.. Spam.. Aww the good ol' days working at a Hawaiian BBQ. Sooo good... Being a cook and such.. This place.. Ono was hiring.. But i dont know. I have soo many odd jobs to take up time when im not doing the writing thing, school thing, the hang out thing, and whatever else thing.
Off to the Post Office.. got my mail.. then to the bank... Dude i am soo shallow but it soo true with most guys and its wrong.. Ok.. i usually get the same teller each time.. and each time she had her boobs all out with cleavage and such.. I thought in my head wow.. Shes cute.. Of course it was the boobs talking... However today? I got her to be my teller again.. This time she was covered up.. and.. honestly.. It got my eyes off the boobs and everything else.. and man o man... Not cute at all. Sad to say it, yes i know typical guy.. but like i didnt even notice it myself.. until today!! Oh well.. She just needs to put the check in my account and its all good..
Got home around 4:30.. Rested a little.. Headed back out at 6 to pick up Alex from tutor. I guess the plan was to pick him up, hang out with Lisa and Heather at Coffee Klatch.. Which i found out she owns.. I totally didnt even know that.. Before i went to pick up Alex.. She told me, Lisa that is.. that it wasnt going to happen because Heather had to head off to the San Dimas location. However she still wanted to go do something.. Sure.. i really doubt that was going to happen so i just called back and left a message. Picked up Alex.. nothing was planned at all and it was gay. Headed off to Starbucks. Lameeeee... Dropped off Alex.. Head home, got another call from Lisa.. blah blah blah.. I pretty much was whatevers.. Such such a flake! Thats pretty much my day...
Tomorrow? I have class and i think im going to spend the whole day in the library, try to focus on some schooling, and get back on track on my events again. I got my first assignment request by Sergio... to cover a show type free concert with Brie Larson.. I guess some Disney singer.. Not too sure if i want to just yet.. Well see...
Britney... Simpson pop rocks the House of Blues..
Multi-platinum lip-syncer.. eerr.. i mean singer Ashlee Simpson sold out the House of the Blues in Hollywood. This outing was for her sophomore album "I am Me" due out October 16th.
Of course this hip trendy club in the heart of the nightlife in West Hollywood was filled up with pre-teens girls with their mom and dads. Dawned with their homemade I love Ashlee Simpson shirts and signs, they waited for the now blonde again singer to jump on stage to perform her hits.
Too bad they had to wait for 30 minutes after the opening act, Barefoot performed. I’m sure you are thinking who are they? Maybe even mistake them for the other "foot" band, Switchfoot. However, this new band is on Papa Joe's record label under Geffen records. The Joe in Papa Joe, is indeed Joe Simpson, who is also known as Ashlee, and older sister Jessica Simpson father and manager. Showing that it’s who you know, and not what you know. The lead singer, Chris.. Father was Fraternity brothers with Joe Simpson. I wonder what father was thinking when his son tried to stage dive into the crowd, only to hit the ground, begging for help back on stage.
After the embarrassing display of an amateur rock star and a short intermission. Miss Simpson ran on stage. Wearing an outfit that looks like she raided the now mother, Britney Spears closet. Pretty much the "punk" version of a school girl outfit consisting of a Gray Sweat jacket, white button up with a skinny black tie, black skirt, leg warmers, and boots.
She performed the usual tracks, "Autobiography" "Love me For Me" and “Pieces of Me.”. Her title track from her new album "I Am Me." singing "What she got that I don’t have"/I won’t change for anyone." Simpson explains she wrote this song after seeing her ex boyfriend... cough Ryan Cabrera cough.. with another girl. On a totally bizarre note, she explains writing a song about a ghost she saw entitled "Eyes Wide Open."
In support of Ashlee her parents Tina, Joe and sister Jessica were all in the house singing along. However brother in law Nick Lachey seemed to be M.I.A. Maybe there was a football game on or maybe... the ongoing rumors are true....??
Ashlee proves to be a strong force in the music industry especially after the fall out from the SNL lip-sync debacle. Entertainment Weekly has her on the list of top 20 albums they are waiting for this fall among the likes of Grammy winners Outkast and Alicia Keys. "I Am Me" hits the stores October 18th, of course with the typical television appearances on Good Morning America, Leno, and TRL.

OMG thats like sooo GORGEOUSTH!!!
Thursday... Last Week...
Didnt do crap all day. Woke up and got ready and wanted to head off to the mall to check out the new Borders. Alex calls.. picked him up.. Got to the mall.. Got some food at the food court. Went to the Borders and looked around. It was decent looking up in there, but not really.. I wanted to buy some sort of book but didnt know which one. Until i walked passed a book by Anthony Bordaurin. I love his show. A Cooks Tour and Fox has a show inspired by his book with the same name, Kitchen Confidential. Picked it on up, training must sucked because the cashier was really slow.
Headed off to the Globe in Pomoma, i guess Alex wanted to get some cans. Never been there. Got lost and was sooo annoyed!! Made it there eventually. I get a call from Derek.. He set me up with a hair appointment with his cousin. HURRAY!!
Dropped off Alex.. Got home to get ready because we were goign to go clubbing. Headed off to La Puente.. Got my hair did. My hair was soooo long!! Im glad it was finally done. Watched Dancing with the Stars results and looks like John O'Hurly won, which i thought was kinda bullshit. Kelly Monaco didnt get to enjoy her win with all the crap of voting this and that. Whatever...
Ok heres the thing.. The club we were going to tonight.. Called VIP in Riverside was a gay club. I know im sure you guys are wondering. Is Anh gay?? Honestly.. Yes i am... Im a Lesbian trapped in a dude body.. haha.. Anyways.. if you didnt get that im sorry, and if you believed that i am.. then you must not really.. uhh.. "Hang" out with me.. yet... So yeah.. Junior... the dude that cuts my hair is gay. I came with because i wanted to dance, havent for awhile. Also its pretty mcuh common knowlegde lots of straight girls go to dance there and know they wont be hit on. Hey i was game!
Headed on over there. And wow.. Anything you can think of pretty much happened on a clean level. I noticed a lot of mexican dudes.. then again it was Riverside... and i remember watching Mind of Mencia and he said it true. Latina gays are more flameboyant than others.
Headed outside to the Patio and they had Karoeoke or whatever you spell it. What song was playing?? Josh Groban - "When You Say you Love me" It was being sung horribly, yet still was pretty funny. What else did i observe?? Lotta waxed eyebrows on dudes and lotta umm.. dudes haircuts for the chicks. Funny thing here. I saw Michelle Armstrong... I knew her since middle school and man she was butched out.. But it wasnt pretty a surprise for me.
A new favorite drink.. Grey Goose Tonic!!! Junior was drinking it all night and man.. I love Vodka, and it had a sweet taste and man.. LOVE IT!! I have nothing much more to say about the night. There was a handful of cute chicks.. Pretty much danced my butt off. Talked to Michelle and she was like havent seen you hear ever. Well yeah duh!! We both were there for a reason... To get some chicks.. haha.. Will i be coming back?? Not sure.. But im always down to dance somewhere...

"True love is finding the soul's counterpoint in another"
Wednesday.... Last Week....
A day of class... My Econ class.. bored and not really paying attention again. Its quite sad... After role, about half of the class ducks out. I choose to stay because i didnt get ready in the morning to be in a class for 15 mins. AND the class only last an hour when it should be at least an hour and a quarter.
Headed on over to Leslies hung for awhile. Actually.. man it was like hours!! Its all good though. Its fun and such. Was over there for a few hours... Jovana calls to say whats up and we set a date to hung out at 8ish. Before that me and Leslie go to pick up her little brother. Went over there and picked him up.
Jovana and I were suppose to meet up at the Gardens to chatter and catch up on stuff. However i went to pick her up instead. Headed over to the Gardens. I think i was smelling the Paris Hilton perfume on her. Man, i am soo addicted to it. Its ridonkulous!! Headed off to Johnny Rockets and played musical chairs there. First sat in a booth... then went to the counter but Jovana couldnt figure how to sit in the chair... then movied to the far end which were better seats... Got some onion rings and a Oreo Shake with extra oreos!!!
Proceeded to catch up... Her trip to Mexico.. and my drama.. Got some decent insight.. but nothing i wanted to hear... I wanted to her say.. why dont you just keep the lines of communication open and see what happens.. OH WELL!!
So i learned something!! Like you know the theres like this little 57 on the ketchup bottle.. You bang that against your hand made into a fist thats sitting on the table. It works sooo well!! Mr. Jake there taught us that!! Its soo instilled in my head.. Anywho... a little more discussing.. We made plan to go to Canada, New York, and Washington DC. She met someone who lives in Quebec over in Mexico. So heres the plan.. In December into Christmas and New Years. Jo is gonna be up in Quebec and im sure im gonna still have finals. So im going to meet her up in Montreal.. then take a bus ride over to New York over Christmas and spend Christmas in New York. Its going to be SOOO COOL!!! Snow in New York over Christmas. Thats a REAL Christmas!! Then head on over to Washington DC for New Years with her Grandpa!! Im soo semi excited!! Like a 3 week vacation!! HURRAY!!
Then its like 9. Wedding Crashers was at 940. We walked around and did alittle shopping and checked out Borders. Not opened yet! Off to AMC... before i get over there.. I see Mike Avena... Dude not trying to talk head.. but he gotten soo drugged out!! I swear.. He needs to stop hanging out with my semi former Raving group.. He tells me hes watching Wedding Crashers and going up to San Francisco for a party.. Random much?? Anywho.. he was with a chick. Didnt want to interrupt..
Dude like the movie... There was like no movie trailers!! I was semi kinda mad!! Anyways.. the movie.. I loved it!! It was hilarious!! Very sweet.. and had hot chicks!! I mean cmon thats like a perfect movie.. Rachel McAdams was very pretty in it and her boyfriend played by the dude in Alias and in Kitchen Confidental played a great heel. The tips of the Crasher were interesting too. What made me laugh?? Dude i was like the only one laughing to certain jokes.. shit i foudn funny. Like the part where they crash the Congressmen.. Where the bride and groom was saying their vows.. Stuff about your my shipmate and captian. Omg that made me laugh soo much!! Jovana hits me and tells me to shut up because i was the only one laughing!! Shoot dont hate on my sense of humor!! However she laughed as much as i did to the stupid stuff.. Something else i learn?? Drinking eye drops will screw you up, i dont know if it works, but maybe ill try it sometime to someone i dont like! Im glad i finally watched the movie with someone who doesnt play games...
Pretty much that was the night.. Good to catch up and chatter without worrying about things... So nice for once...
I wanna crash weddings!! I LOVE THEM!! Whos in??

Smile... for me please...
Funny how once you hear a song... It just hits you.... Like wow.. This is how I feel... What's even more amusing is that if josh groban sings it, its like a train hits you... When I found a recording of "smile" sung by josh groban at tanglewood during film night with john williams. It just struck me. The lyrics and voice. Josh groban's voice is simply amazing on this song... You can hear for your self, download it below....
Smile though your heart is aching Smile even though it’s breaking When there are clouds in the sky, you’ll get by If you smile through your fear and sorrow Smile and maybe tomorrow You’ll see the sun come shining through for youLight up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That’s the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what’s the use of crying?
You’ll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smileThat’s the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what’s the use of crying?
You’ll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile
Hear Josh Groban's live rendition from Film Night at Tanglewood by downloading it HERE
Again amazing... I just wished I knew what I was doing. I've ended something special and important to me a few days ago... Finally... And officially.. I've gotten to the point where I couldn't tletmy actions and feelings take a hold of me. Actions of anger and feelings of hope, anxiety, and failure. Failure, feeling as though I've been doing something wrong. Failure of not being good enough. Even though I hid my underlying feelings, a simple unfavorable action from her could set me off. More easily recently. After recovering from the fallout the beginning of the year, which I should say was the darkest in our relationship... We tried to fix whatever we had... However very rocky at first, we talked things out and things were on the up and up. So it seemed.. At a point, I figured it was no use in me trying to put additional efforts, trying to have something, with them wasted. Its quite sad.. I was planning out her birthday... As extravagent as it seemed.. Was fitting for her... Hmmm lets see what it consisted of.. Im going to start a new paragraph, since its THAT long..
Hmm.. form of transportation?? Of course a limo.. The day i said screw it, i recieved like 20 quotes for a rental for about 10.5 hours. Yes i know.. long time and very expensive, but i didnt care. It would have been sooooo coool!! With 3 stops and a possible 4th. 1st stop?? Greystone Mansion and park in Beverly Hills. Why there?? If you seen the "We Belong Together" music video by Mariah Carey. The scenes outside and the wedding and such?? Thats Greystone, and that is the mansion. This place is sooo nice its ridonkuos!! I mean the view of all of Los Angeles and Hollywood? Its soo amazing!! I was thinking about a picnic type deal, watch the sunset, and walk around the mansion. Next stop?? Wavefest at the Greek Theatre. Jazz concert type deal with Chris Botti. One amazing jazz trumpeter!! However, i was planning to have the screens at a point say happy birthday or even have Chris say it on stage. I dont know what extent i can do and what i can have done. I am friendly with the promoter of the theatre, however i am sure at the VERY LEAST a Happy Birthday on the two screens on each side of the stage.. After the concert.. Dinner somewhere.. I was thinking at Katana or Sushi Roku.. Which are both own by Ryan Seacrest. I wanted to see if Manny.. MANNY ON THE STREETS!!! FUTURE NUMBER ONE SELLING ALBUM MANNY GUEVARA!! :) who works with Ryan can set up a private area at his restuarant and such.. I was even seeing if i could have Ryan call her and wish her happy birthday.. I dont know.. something just amazing you know?? Afterwards??? I was just thinking coming back to Rancho.. but i remembered my friend is the manager or front desk or something at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills. Go there and just chill out.. Tomorrow get a massage treatment or whatever and just hang out.. Yes i know.. too much isnt it?? Not really... Well it is to be honest.. But i dont know, in my head i thought she derserved all this and trust me, no one else has ever got me to a point where i thought about all this.. Thats most likely the very reason.. i need to take a break away from her... to get my mindset to being just normal and whatevers... I dont know how long that will take though..
Funny how we've ended it, and it always seems that we can't really ever end it. I just don't get it.. Itd be a first for me, ending something, and can't really do it and coming back. Everything tells me our thing should be much more. But maybe its just me.. Well in our case... It is just me.. I mean I've had so many broken relationships where I've been told I was cold hearted. Im not going to lie, I didn't really care. Either I was fucked over, lied to, or just something weird happened. I could have cared less if we were still friends or talked anymore. Its just so different this time, this time its my lost. Before, I would say whatever their lost, which honestly it was. Im a great person, not to toot my own horn, but im there and usually reliable. However, every time something goes awry and I choose to stop our friendship. I am lost... And I miss the girl... Really who does that? I've never really had a relationship like that, let alone a friendship. I totally will admit I need her in one form or another. Its just sad and depressing to know you've done everything you could to make this girl happy and give her things no one else would. All trying to go pass that friendship to something more and meaningful, only to have her only think as you as a friend and only a friend. I've done Floor seats to josh groban concert, who I introduced the music to her and introduced her to the man himself. Super thoughtfull birthday and christmas gifts. And of course all the little things inbetween. All in the name of somethign more than friendship, and her accepting them as gifts from a friend. Honestly, if friends were like me, I'd want some of those friends. And if this is what friends do for her, wow, she is indeed the luckiest girl alive and I never had a chance in the first place.
It just sucks... I finally figured out why I don't commit. It took a book to tell me what's wrong with me. Yeah yeah im sure you are all thinking.. Self help, how to find love blah blah. It wasn't even like that at all really.. Am I gonna name the book? No.. Because it makes me sound desperate and not that's even close. However, I've gotten by many friends, we'll not friends but ex hook ups? I guess you would call it. You are afraid of commitment, blah blah. Watch you'll commit when you find that girl blah blah. Here's what I figured out, im not afraid of commitment, im a afraid of failure. It was a friggin apifany. Everytime I get called on being afraid of commiting, I say why commit when its gonna end. And pretty much end bad. Why? There's not point. I couldn't believe it was that simple. After I figure this out, I wanted to finally commit. Commit to someone special, plus the fear of failing was apparent at first. That's what caused the inital problems in the relationship, along with the frsutration of not going anywhere. My fear went away after failing the friendship after my frustration was apparent which in turn cause her frustration numerous time. But every single time, recovering from it and being good against. I was like in awe and in shock.. This has to be different. Special.. Unique.. True.. As ryan cabrera would state.. But still... Nothing.... :(At least... I can boil down the only reasons why we had fights and arguments as friends and I hope she understands those reasons. Its just funny how our relationship was in the infancy... Lets just say, it just how it should be if we ever cross that line. But I don't know. Only the future knows what's in store for us. I do know what I wish the future holds for us. Inside joke alert... And if it takes 10 years... So be it... :) I just wish whatever I decide isn't going to be a mistake... Either keeping the distance for however long it takes for her relieze that she's needs me in her life as much as need her.. Haha yeah right... In that process It could lead to resentment on her part towards me and I totally made a huge mistake.. Cue my favorite movie... The Family Man.. Starring Nicolous Cage, Tia Leoni, and "lets hug it out" Entourage super agent, Jerermy Privin. On which, it would encounter my very first regret.. Next to that one night in tijuana with that hooker... Just kidding.. Or I can say screw my feelings.. Keep the lines of communication open.. And friendship wall up and erect... Try not to get your feelings hurt everyother day.. Be there for her.. Keep her happy while you are in agony... And maybe something will happen naturally and eventually... Haha yeah right... She's not going to change, ill be in this friendship, wondering what im doing wrong and why certain things aren't happening... So I honestly rather pass... Its really not worth it... No point in staying a relationship where its going nowhere and feeling worthless.... Hmm... Decisions decisions... Whatever I decide.. Will all depend.. I wish I had that risk assesment program ruben fiffer uses in along came polly to assest things. Well until I decide... More laguna beach hook ups.. Back to the old anh... And.... "She's out of my life/I don't know rather to laugh or cry/ I don't know rather to live or die/and it cuts like a knife/she's out of my life. Yes I know, another josh groban song.. Can't you tell by now im a huge josh groban fan? Just don't call me a grobanite... Im about 40 years away from that and of the incorrect gender.
"I feel myself surrender/Each time I see your face/I am staggered by your beauty/Your unassuming grace/And I feel my heart/Is falling into place/I can't hide/Now hear my confession."/
I know another Josh Groban song... There's no other song that describes EXACTLY how I feel about this wonderful girl. Oh well.. :(

Everyone is a critic...
So while trying to update one of my site, i decided to check out my comments and see if anyone left any. Most of them are from spammers who are trying to endorse their poker websites. I dont know why its poker but it is. I ran across a commenter who kinda got me a little heated, however not really. Heres what he or she had to say...
Thank you for the interview. However, if you wish to call yourself a journalist or a writer, then please use correct grammar, punctuation, and capitalization. Maybe even make use of the spell check tool once in a while.
Your article is riddled with misspellings, incorrect sentence formation, awful grammar. It is a sad commentary on those in your profession if they do not take you to task for the lack of professionalism and pride in what you write and publish.
Better yet, how about enrolling in a journalism class, where you would learn the proper and correct way of sentence construction, and much more.
I am sure that I was not the only one that cringed while reading through the interview of Josh Groban and your observations.
Sincerely,
AAD
Now here goes my response...
Hey AAD,I just ran across your comment about the interview I conducted. I wasn't too sure if you were referring to my article or the post on the website. If you were referring to the article, then I do need to enroll in some classes and so does my editor, who has been an editor more years than I am here on Earth.
However if you were referring to my blog aka post on my website, you can kiss my ass. Pardon my French. This is my personal journal, therefore I don't need to correct spelling, check grammar or anything else you commented on. I write my entries as I think of them and how I speak, which isn't always proper. I am not getting paid for you to read my life, which means I don't care about the errors. Especially if I am my own editor, publisher, and writer. I don't proofread my entries because I am trying to crank them out asap and I am busy writing the actual articles, and going on with my life. Funny how you seem to be the ONLY one who has a problem and the rest of the world who visit my site can see what its all about.
Again if you are referring to my article, then I will have to enroll myself in a class along with my editor. If you are referring to my actual entry, once again bite me. However if you feel the need to argue with me after I explained to you my position, please feel free to email me.
Thats pretty much all i am going to say. I guess i should be happy since you know what they say, its when they stop talking about you is when you should worry. Not too sure if that saying even applies to me. Anyone else who has a problem with my website, i dont think you can find my contact information on the site yet, but here it is, anh@anh-nguyen.com Feel free to email me with your questions, comments, and concerns. Ill gladly address them.
Going to take night classes soon, what subject?? English :P

Take me out to the ball game.. Gimme some cracker jacks and such..
Los Angeles Dodgers vs. New York Mets
Dodger Stadium
Los Angeles, California
August 13th, 2005
NY: 5 LA: 1
I am posting this thing up soo late, but im just gonan do a little commentary like i always do. Not much details. Watch, it will be like 100 paragraphs like my other posts.
I thinki went to sleep like at 4. Im not sure if i had a long night but to be honest i doubt it. Just most likely stayed up watching tv and listening to my iPod. I cant sleep with my iPod like i used to, well actually music in general because i have to pick and choose and yeah. Its hard to sleep. I get a call to go to the Dodger game like at the buttcrack of dawn. Not really, like 11ish. Still its friggin Saturday and i like my sleep. But if you know me, im down for whatever.. You call me and im not doing anything, ill go do it. Unless i dont like you, or something. Then yeah..
My friend told me i got only like 30 mins or an hour, i dont remember. Got ready, went up to Lugos house. He called Liz to go, im like whatevers. Liz, i had a crush in her in high school. Dont ask me why, guess she had something different. Then again, i had about 100 crushes, 200 hook ups, and 500 no comments.. hahaha. She was doing something, i dont know, eventually picked her up by 12? Game started at 1? The drive wasnt too bad. Drove through Chinatown and such. On the way over there, listen to Dane Cook new album and its hilarious!! Ill have it up to listen to soon, whenever i get around to it.
Got to the place.. First time at the staduim, and first time at a real baseball game. Ive been to the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes games, which are kinda lame. I m ean Trevor from O-Town worked as one of the dancers.. So thats good?? Maybe?? perhaps?? Had pretty decent seats. Lower section right under the other the seats above us hung over. So the sun was right which was good and it was still a good view. Section 42?
Highlights... Ive watched the Food Network and they have those ballpark food specials. So i was kinda excited. Too bad i am a broke mother.. SHUT YOUR MOUTH!! hahaha. Didnt have too much to spend. Just got the garlic fries and peanuts. 2 staples you gotta have. I mean you gotta have the dog and beer, but ive had the Dodger Dog at City Walk, and beer? Well im not big on drinking at all.
Celebrities in the house?? John Elway and Wilmer Valderamma. Wilmer was doing this dance taking off his clothes off. I was kinda pissed because i coulda chatting with him at the Gphoria Awards, and the next day at the Teen Choice Awards. I dont wanan talk about those events. HAHA.
Nothing really bothered me, well actually. This dude that sat next to me, who didnt have a ticket to sat there. I swear this dude smelled like ass. I couldnt even describe it. It was horrible. I thought it was me, but i took a shower and put on some Very Sexy from Victoria Secret. Like when he lean forward, i leaned back. Because i think the wind of coming to the left of me, so i wanted to get out of the line of smell. Everytime i moved forward he did, i was like ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Anywho..
The game was pretty much fun even though i was dead tired, even though they were losing. 7th inning stretch, i guess you get up and stretch. I learn so much.. haha. Im sure there was other stuff but i totally dont remember anything!!
Think Blue.

effin BEAUTIFUL SOUL!! continued...

Im gonna give a cliff notes on the Saturday..
Audition at 1:00. Got ready for it and put on a blazer. Dude it was hella hot but i had to dress the part for this job. Got there, and stood around most of the time. Got a comment that i should be hired when i pointed a gentlemen to the fitting room and told him i was interviewing.
Doug, this asian dude where my friend said he had a little queer vibe was trying to start some conversation with me. He asked me what shirt i was wearing and i hesitated because i didnt want to say because i could ruin my chances to get this job, however i just gave it a second and said Versace..
Met Sandy who is one of the managers and im sorry but she had a really low cut shirt, and im sure you guys know how that story ends, well rather 2 story ends.. cough.. anywho..
Watched a video, i thought i had the retail thing pat however, at Express its more hands on and zoned. Its good that its zone, so that you only deal with your certain area. I am used to running around a store to help customers.
They then threw us on the floor. To do customer service. Did it, done it. Was whatevers, what i didnt get the hang of and what they want is that if you direct a customer to the fitting room you gotta get there name and then you get on the mic and tell whoever is in the fitting room that "Billy Jo," or "Sally Sue" was heading back there. It was really brief.
Then off to the fitting rooms. Haha.. good times. i remember when i had fitting room duty for Sirens. Im telling you, the pros weigh out the cons. Pro, chicks asking for your opinion on clothes, con.. putting back the clothes they dont want. Another thing with that is that if they dont like the size, you get on the mic and get another one for them. So pretty much a full service type thing. Ok the chick i was there with was Tracy and she seem pretty fly but she went on break after like 5 mins.. then her replacement... The chick i noticed the night before, and wow... She was honestly hella bomb. She had the elegant casual business type dressy look. However the thing is, her hair was up. Im not a big fan of the hair up, well i mean her hair wasnt down, it was like in a ponytail. She was hot no doubt, i wonder how old she could be though. I would say around my age, but man she had these eyes. I wanna say its like Winnie from Wonder Years but they were softer with a little Kristin Kreuk vibe. Anywho, introduced myself and that was about it. Oh her name is Veronica...For now... :)
Then i was then shifted to the woman's clothing for a little bit. For about 10 mins and Sandy took me back to the back for the interview. Very simple thing, you know how i said the stories came to an end. They soo werent, we both were sitting in a chair and yeah... She would read the question and i mean it took awhile and yeah.. They were just up in my face.
The interview was a typical thing. Which i hate, about 99 percent of my jobs, ive never interviewed for. They been offered or i just got into it and thats about it. Accomplishments, something you are proud of blah blah. One that through me off was what fashion mags you read. I just answered answered GQ and Details, which i do read. But most of the magazines i read have some form of fashion like Rolling Stone, FHM, Maxim, Interview, Cargo, and Men's Health.
After that was done, i figured i nailed the job. I leave, say whats up to Doug and i really wanted to go say bye to Veronica. Then left on home.
Went out to dinner, hit up the mall which i didnt want to. Well went straight to Lucille, hour wait. Then headed off to Old Spaggitti Factory because a friend worked there. Had food, and it was nice. After, picked up a friend, dropped one off. Chilled and thats about it..
I say it now, if i get this job, more clothes, more money, more chicks, and more Veronica.....hopefully..

Coachella!!
Wow.. only had about 3 hours of sleep. Woke up at 7 because there was some big sale at the Good Guys in Glendale. 50 percent or whatever. Wanted to go but it didnt open until 10 and i had to leave at 10 to Coachella.
Got all ready and what not, put in on my tight ass Beatles shirt i got from Target yesterday. My homie showed up at my house and i noticed his shirt right away and i was like aww cmon give me a break. Since we were at my house then i had to go change and blah.
Headed on out.. headed to the gas station.. wanted to pick up some water and to check if my article was put in the paper since i didnt see it online.. Moved to the entertainment section and there it was. My Rob Thomas article..
Jumped on the 10 and headed East. It was a hella nice day, wished i had my car, top down and all. I found it hella funny certain cars full of chicks were all waving and what not. I wanted to play a little phone game with em and stuff but whatever.
Got there around 12. Got my press passes and tickets for both days.. haha.. saved me about 400 bucks. 80 dollar a day which is worth it but its worth more its free. I was there to see The Kills, Bloc Party, Z-Trip, Coldplay, Weezer, and Keane. Well guess what i didnt get to see any of them. They were playing really late, Coldplay hit the stage at 11pm. Left around 3.. i was soo dead tired. Walking around in the sun beaming down on my head and having 3 hours of sleep. Most of this was late minute like always. Im sure i would have had fun, next year it needs to be planned a lot better on my part.
Coachella a bust, but i didnt drive or pay for tickets so it was ok!!:)

Sh Sh SHAKIN!!! SH SH SHAKIN!!
Note - Them pictures below of Rooney were not taken at the concert, they were taken at the The OC Viewing VIP Party/Concert with Rooney at Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood when the episode entitled "The Third Wheel," featured them playing at a concert. I friggin left a movie premiere red carpet... Chasing Liberty for this party.. HAHA.. Good times.. on to the post...

Friday, friggin Rooney concert... it was either this or Family Guy Live, and i choose this because i bought tickets because Jovana wanted to go and the publicist behind the Family Guy Live didnt get back to me, so i didnt get free tickets to that. However i still had a chance to get tickets to Rooney for free, but i wanted a photo pass. I never been to the Glass House and wasnt sure if cameras were allowed or not.
Anywho.. all week i been trying to get in contact with whoever is in charge of Rooney. I had a contact with Geffen, who i contacted to see if i can get review tickets to Ashlee Simpson with no use. Bouncing me back and forth. I am in talks with her to get tickets to Snoop Dogg/Game, and which she told me i had already which is good. Anyways, she didnt know who is in charge of Rooney because they were an indie band until they got signed to Geffen. It was Friday and havent heard anything, so i decided to do some research and went onto the B2B, aka Business to Business intranet and digged up some press releases and it got me the name of Rooney's publicist. Contacted him but he couldnt get a hold of their management. Deadend once again.
Headed over to the place around 8ish, after Jovana came on down. That morning, i downloaded The Floor track off of iTunes, and man that track is hella hot and i was hoping they were going to perform it. The car ride was interesting, first thing i noticed. Well actually first thing i smell was her. I like to think i know my scents, and off the bat, i was like you smell good, its Victoria Secret huh. She was like yeah, and before she could name it, i was like LOVE SPELL. How did i know?? A chick i used to date wore that, and i hated it after we stop dating, however, Michelle wore it a lot, and Michal wore it, and sometimes i think just to get a rise out of me, but whatever. I shouldnt pass judgement just because of someone wore it. It smells hella good, kinda reminded me of the Ryan Cabrera concert, i think Taylor was wearing, but then again it smelled like lots of the girls there was wearing it. Jo was talking about being a publicist and how to do it and what not. I sorta wanted to do that, but havent looked into much, i mean i deal with them everyday and i mean i can ask them whats up and what not. So im going to look more into for me and her. She can be my partner in crime in Hollywood. HAHA.
Made it to the Glass House lotta people out there and what not. She asked me no sweater or sweater. I gave her the look down and was like, definitely no sweater. :) Im sorry but yeah.. Picked up my tickets at Will Call and went inside. Dude it was crowded and hella hot in there. Jovana was hungry and i was kinda feeling it, so i met up with my friend to see whats up. Nothing was really up with him. So me and her just left to Casa Jimenez. We wanted Sushi, but i didnt know the area, so we were out of luck. I hella wanted Sushi, but oh well. Just made sure we didnt get anything heavy there. Rooney wasnt going on stage until 10 and 1 act already performed and another was coming up. I think it was the Red Walls, and if i knew it was them, i woulda checked it out, but its all good.
Walked on over to the restuarant, and for some reason the door was trying to mess with us. It said use the other door and we walked around to both side of the building and there was no other door. Finally figured out the sign was retarded , went in, and the noone was there to seat us. We were there and was like what the heck?? So we walked to the back and the chick was cleaning was trippen out and i wasnt even paying attention. I mean they closed at 10, who knows.. whatever..
Dude, it was freaking hot, i was sweating like a whore in church and it sucked but oh well. Got a bucket of Coronas and was looking for somethign to share. This place doesnt have nachos listed. Like chips and all the stuff. It had to be speical order and i was like wtf?? But got it though. The waitress was a lot nicer than the chick that seated us. Anyways, tried to work up a buzz and it was nice. Jovana was hella sorta buzzed too.
Finished around 10ish and headed over back to the Glass House. Got inside and of course it was still hella hot as hell. Tried to make our way to the front and Rooney hit the stage. They are hella tight. Played new tracks from the upcoming cd comign out soon. There was these 2 people who were like jumping around loud which is what is suppose to happen, but man do i get stuck with them everywhere i go. Good thing they left. I noticed this chick who was standing where they jumpers were standing. He was pretty cute, i dont know why but i noticed the earrings, well i know why but yeah. Nice earrings.. but yeah..
Rooney was soo tight, they are great live. They have improved so bad, and there sound is so uncanny. It was great finally seeing do a whole set. Jovana said she was gonna rock out when Shakin' was going to be performed. Man we were rocking out. You know whats gay though? Me and her were the only one doing the cell phone lighter. You know instead of a lighter, you use your cell phone. I so could tell this wasnt an LA crowd because i didnt see anyone with a Sidekick but me.
It wasnt until the encore song, Simply Because where it turned in to a rock show. We moved to the balanocy, man, people were jumping on stage and stage diving and what not.. It was crazy... i am surprised a mosh pit didnt break out. Night was all good, next stop is Rob Thomas with Jovana, if i get my passes, but it aint no thing, cuz the same person who handles Ryan Cabrera, handles Rob...
You don't know me so well
I think you know that now
I'm unbreakable
There's no need for fragile stickers
You're too young for me
But I can keep a secret
I'm in total control
Of the situation

Because i can.. haha.. nah.. i got a few dollars sitting around, well more than usual, so i thought i pick this up. I need a light iPod for the gym and such. Wait, dont you have an iPod Mini that you use for the gym you ask? That iPod Mini i have... the pink one.. wasnt really suppose to be mine.. eehh.. ill talk about that a little later in another entry.. Bottomline, i got it for the gym, its pretty tight, and i needed a portable storage device. I highly recommand getting one if you are a music freak like i am.
Next on my to buy list?? The iPod Photo. Why? holds photos, is color and it shows the album cover on what you are listening to. Thats soo cool, i am selling my 40 gig ipod, that retails for 400 bucks and i am selling it for 250 for whoever.

The Worth of Friendship.
It has been a week since Valentines. The ultimate Hallmark holiday, but its always nice to spend the day with someone, doesnt matter who. Just the idea of hangin with someone cool. Ok thats just the intro into whatever i have to say. So yeah. I sent some friends some flowers. They were some really nice flowers, multicolored roses with a box of chocolate and such. However the thing was i ordered them when the person i was sending it to and i were on somewhat good terms.
I had this perfect quote i felt at the time, it was so perfect but ill talk about that in a bit.
Anyways, the closer it got to Valentines, the more things just fell apart and things just were what you would say? wack? Who knows. Yeah yeah i know, i promised an entry about it all but to be honest my thoughts are not clear and cut and i just pretty much ramble and what not. If you know my password, i wrote a few things and its sitting around on my website. Anyways. Bottomline? i pretty much decided to end the friendship because i wasnt happy anymore. After i decided that, i looked back on the whole thing and i had an epiffany, which im dont want to talk about at the moment, but to summarize? I knew what i was getting into, and i totally tried to stop it. Tried to stop it sooo many times, but i was promised things and what not and yeah. but thats about it for now.
Ok, now here comes the funny part and if you believe in karma or fate then heres a good read. Valentines came around and i assume the flowers were delivered since i sent flowers before but with a local florist who didnt seem to have a problem finding the address and what not. So i assume the address i gave them was correct and used that when ordering the flowers through 1800flowers.com. To be honest, i wanted to canceled them because i didnt want to be giving the wrong idea at all and see if i can get what i spend on them credited back. It would kick start my saving the money thing. It seem like it would have been too much trouble so i just let it be. Anyways.
The next day, i got a call saying the flowers werent delivered due to the incorrect address. I tried to call 1800flowers and they were hella busy. Then i found out fedex were the one to deliver it but it was pretty much pointless because i didnt know the correct address, so i didnt bother with it.
At this point, i was thinking again, should i even bother? I mean its kinda and pretty much pointless. But again, its already been paid for and yeah.
Wednesday comes, and i give them whatever address i think it is. Well first i call Fed Ex to give them the "correct" address and they tell me that the package was told to be destroyed. I was thinking what the fuck? i didnt drop 50 bones on it for nothing. I hit up 1800flowers and they said it wasnt destroyed and gave them whatever address i thought it was, but not without being on hold for 20 mins. So i thought to myself, thats done. Whatever.
Oh its not over. I get a call on Friday. Wrong address yet again. At this point i was pretty much peeved as fuck. I just said screw it, gave them the house number and have them call the house and hopefully someone is there and gives them the correct address. Saturday comes around, i go on the Fedex tracking and found something rather odd. Heres what it said:
8:48 - Left Fedex Facility
8:52 - At Fedex Facility
I thought that was hella hella odd. But whatever. I am over it. She either got it or not. We all know i am on an allowance, so i go to my online banking and move some funds around for shopping and lunch. I noticed that i got an extra 50 bucks and some odd dollars and change. So i figure it didnt get delivered which is a good thing and i got my money back. So what i wanted happened. But the thing is, was it some sort of sign? haha. making sure that these flowers dont get delivered? who knows. i am not really trying to think too hard about it. What i am thinking hard about is with the 50 bucks added to my allowance, when can i get my Chucks? haha.
Now to what i wrote on the card. I ran across this quote and felt so strongly about it at the time. Keyword... at the time.
"No distance of place or lapse of time can lessen the friendship of those who are thoroughly persuaded of each other's worth."
At the time, im not sure but i decided to take a break from the relationship because my head wasnt in the right place and i dont think hers was either. So im sitting around going through my day wondering how it could go back to how it was or something like that. But when i would see whats up with her, she would say things like she hasnt given it much thought and it hasnt crossed her mind and such. Here i am agnozing about it and to be honest i didnt want to anymore. Thats why i decided to take the break, so at least something can be in my terms, i can control some aspect of something.
As the quote says, no distance or amount of time can a friendship lose its value if both person know of each others worth in the relationship. WOW. I mean can this be true? can this be real? Im sorry Nsync song, haha. but yeah, if this is true then whenever our break is done or whatever, we can go back to how it was. At a certain point, im not going to lie, i needed this person. I needed her like a fat kid needs cake. hahahaa.. you know what im saying. At a certain point, she told me she needed me. However with recent things that have been happening, and her stepping all over my feelings, the feelings she doesnt know about only because i choose not to share most of it. I just dont know where i am at anymore. I want to value our friendship again, i mean. It was really nice, and our Vegas trip would have been really nice. I had so many things planned. I had an amazing dinner with a breath taking view, a trip to a chocolate factory, yes a chocolate factory, a Monet art exhibit, a folick in beautiful conservatory, with a nice limo down the strip goin back to a funny conversation we had on our first date and of course Josh Groban. Right now, none of that will happen, well a lot on my part will. I am still goin, im not goin to give up a trip because the person i was suppose to go with, dont know what its at right now. Well i do, its pretty much over. On my terms. I dont know how i feel, i wish i did. But i dont. I usually know but now i dont. Im not worried, ill have a fun time and then i can go back to saving my money. But yea, listen to that quote. Thats something i will preach but wont practice, because i dont believe in friendship much, lost faith in that a long time ago, and i think i lost it much more permanetly recently.
Only person i can trust is the person i see in the mirror

Nice stuff now? or Nice car later?
As most of you know, i have been without a car for nearly a month now. It sucks balls. One of the main thing that gets me about it is that i have to depend on other people to get to work and back home. Then if i need to run errands or something i cannot do it. it sucks so bad. I havent dry clean my clothes for about a month, good thing i have like 100 of dress shirts but still. So i decided to pursue a new car. I have had about 5000 dollar saved up for a long time, however havent been pushing for the car. Why? i dont know, i had one, didnt want to spend it yet until i knew what i am getting myself into with payments and insurance.
So most of you guys know i want a MINI Cooper Convertible. You can click on the pictures above to check the one i want. I been to MINI USA lots of time designing my car. Usually it comes out to around 24000 which isnt bad at all. However when i am looking at the estimate payments, for a 5 year payment system, 60 payments, 12 a year. It comes out to 369 for a 5000 down. Isnt that bad, i can handle that, but its way too unrealistic for me. Why? Oh cmon, its spring, the spring line is out. Gotta get new clothes. HAHA. I have horrible spending habits and a much worse saving habit. I cant stop spending and i cant start saving. It sucks. However not having a form of transportation has restricted me from spending which is good. I am making more money since the year started off my probation and what not. I am not spending 100 bucks a month on dry cleaning, 200 on gas a month, 200 bucks on dinner dates and shit. X amount on clothes, shoes and electronics. I mean i can save cant I? I will have to if i really want this car, and if i plan on moving out with Jovana.
Ok, so i figure i need to come up with another 5k for a 10k down and payments will be a little more reasonable. Which it was, it took about 100 bucks off. 100 bucks i can spend towards the gas, insurance, rent. Who knows. but yeah. My goal? to save up 5k as soon as i can. so i can get this damn car and start rollin through sunset like i used to. It took me about a week to get 1k. So if i stop spending and shit ill be fine. hopefully. Well no more eating out for sure, no more concerts especially fuckin josh groban ones. God i spend about 1500 on josh groban related concert shiets. I mean im still gonna go, just shitty seats or work my magic for free ones. or not, i cant really enjoy his music anymore right now. long story, but you might read it if i post it. Anyways. No more iPods. haha. i wanted the new one, but i can wait. The only thing that will tax me soon will be my new phones which i will talk about in a bit. Speaking of tax, i hope my tax return is big. SHOOT. That would friggin help out. Man i soo need a pair of Chucks.
100 dollar allowance and THATS ALL!

PF Changs Rancho Cucamonga Victoria Gardens.
Finally. Our little downtown we call Victoria Gardens has open its PF Changs. Hurray. No more driving out to Pasadena or Irvine to enjoy some pretty damn good chineseish bistro food.
I had lunch over there today with a friend because i been meaning to hit this place up all week, however lack of transportation made that kinda hard.
First thing i noticed, it was hella hella smaller than the other ones. Ok i lied, the first thing i noticed was the hostess. She was fione! Very nice hair and i have to admit but ever since someone brought earrings to my attention, ive been noticing them more often on chicks and such and she had some nice earrings. But she was hella cute. Anyways, when we got seated, i noticed all the damn tables pretty close to each other and man does that really kill the mood you usually get from other PF Changs. Granted Pasadena and Irvine had tables fairly adjacent to other however there were pillars and such in the way to limit the line of sight. Anyhow that didnt matter much when the hostess came in the dining room, it was very nice thing, everytime she came to sit other guest down.
Of course, EVERYWHERE i go, i see the homies. Caught a few people i know working there. It was hella cool and such to see them like always, but the typical small talk commenced.
Got the usually appetizers, lettuce wraps and crab wontons. Decided to try something else for the main dish and got orange peel beef with brown rice. Thats my new thing!! Brown rice. You heard it here first. I been eating brown rice for about 2 months because white rice isnt as nutritious as the brown and brown has a crunch and texture that isnt the norm for me, since i been growing up with the white rice for 20ish years. We got hooked up with Orange Peel Shrimp. So nice. Everytime i got to this restaurant i get something free and shit. Its wonderful.
Lunch was really nice. Service was really good. Most def i am coming back. its inexpensive. 35 bucks and it was split which was even better. The person i ate with fucked up my fortune cookie. She handed me one which you dont do. I went for the other one and she touched my fortune so i couldnt even eat it. The waiter was watching us and he even knew whats up. Saying she had no fortune cookie etiquette. Yes there is etiquette when you open a fortune cookie. So she got a good fortune but she decided to open mine which pretty much negates her. The one she fucked up was the total opposite from the good one. It was funny, i dont know what it said because i didnt want to hear it but yeah.
Split bill came to like 17 bucks and her CHEAP ass didnt want to tip so i tipped an even 13 bucks. which was 75 percent of my 17 and 37 percent of the 35. I ALWAYS try to tip 20 percent at these kinds of places because i enjoy the food and want good service next time. Plus i tipped horrible once when i had dinner at California Pizza Kitchen. it was like 1 percent, maybe that even that. I felt so bad, if i knew i wasnt going to watch a movie after then i would have tipped more but yeah.
PF Changs, great food, great service, great looking hostess however layout kinda sucks.
Trendy Chinese food ROCKS!

Life: New Friggin Lunar Year!!
Wednesday February 9th, It changed to the year of the cock. I mean Roaster. Somebody keeps referring it to the year of the cock which is true however their inneudo is noted clearly. Did i celebrate any at all? Well i was at work most of the day, and someone at work got some like this rice thingy cake with meat thing from her nail doing person.
Of course, her nail person had to be vietnamese which us people, well like 90 percent of us do that shiet. Dont ask me why. Whats even funner is that i was wearing red for some reason today and like red is like the good luck color and such.
Oh another thing too, someone else at work was all like do like vietnamese chicks. I was like umm, ive never dated one before and yeah. Shes like these girls at my nail place, bla bla bla, they are funny and cute and blah blah. I didnt give it any thought and yeah.
So like yeah, Saturday. Went down to a family party thing. The thing is, the house it was at was the house i grew up when i was younger. When i was living in Kansas, i remember this house i was at when i traveled back and forth to California. I spent so many weekends here way back when with my cousins after church. It was totally weird. I dont know, so many years back some family drama went down and my grandparents werent living in the house anymore. i dont know, not a huge huge fan of the family thing but yeah. I house was wow, i remember the gargage we used to play around in, seems so dang small. Ehh i dont know but whatever. Had to make the appearance to appease my grandparents and uncles and aunts. Had some food and got my money.. heheeh.. in them little red envelopes. That was pretty much that.
Happy New Years to all who the statement is valid for. So does that mean my resolutions start again? At least i can start over with certain things.

Life: free sex?
Ok, you know them bracelets with the colors and such? Like those ones where you cross them or whatever? Well i been semi looking for them for a long as time and i was at Ontario Mills yesterday shopping and such and they had a good ass deal at Zumiez. It was like buy 2 get 2 for free and they were already cheap. So i picked them up, got black, red, light blue, and clear.
So today, I look up online for something. Well i was looking on style to wear it and such. Yeah i know its gay but yeah. I then google the bracelets and of course.. Something had to come up, i guess it seems that these bracelets and these colors are suppose to represent some sort of sexual inneundo. At Sex Bracelets.com, there are certain meanings and acts to the colors. It ranges from the innocent hug to the full on thing and everything in between. I am wearing blue and black at the moment. You can click on the link and see what they mean. So i guess its some sort of game called "Snap", theres an article at CNN, granted it is 2 years old. I still found it interesting. So if you are wearing these bracelets, you could be putting something out there you dont want to. Just make sure no one is trying to break your bracelet, or you 2 could be doing something you might not want to be doing.
If you are wearing these bracelets, you most likely are wearing the black one, which means, sex. Just some food for thought. Am I going to stop wearing these? Cmon what do you think? However i am goin to wear whatever color i want even if it represents something a little too whatever or something. I like it and thats all that matters.. WHOOP WHOOP!!
I got 4 black bracelets on, who wanna snap them?? and i got like 50 more at home. :)

Life: overprices.. but theres a cost for it... haha..
yeah ok.. whoever said beauty isnt cheap is friggin right. i cant believe how much the combined total of the hair product i got. I havent had a car for awhile for most of you already know that. So i havent been using any styling product and i been using my little bros gel. Ok, gel is wack and like the queer eye guys say, its so 80s. I dont like how it makes my hair look and feel anymore, and i havent spiked my hair for about 2 years.. So i been using pomade and fiber. The American Crew shit that goes a friggin long ass way and such. That shits been running me kinda high but its all good. So i decided to try some new stuff. I heard from some one this bed head wax and paste stuff is good to use and like makes your hair like nice and shit. So i go and pick some of the stuff up.
Ok now, what sucks?? Bed Head who is apart of TIGI, i look for the product and it doesnt even go by wax or paste. Its like all this weird ass names like Manipulator or cool stick. I mean cmon now.. Jeeze.. So im there staring at the products with help from all the chicks in the store, like sayin this is good for your hair and this and that and that and this.. I was focusing on the bed head shit and i ended up just getting the bed head shit that looked like that stuff i wanted and when i came to the check stand. The total ended up being 60 bucks. Ok thats the more than i pay for my haircut. Granted when me and jovana go get our hair done in la, its goin to run 200 to 300 bucks but still. Right now, i dont got dough to drop on hair shit, when i got a trip to vegas planned soon and the cost of that is goin to suck. WHat sucks even more is that im not sure if i am goin to vegas anyways.. oh well. we shall see, and tomorrow if my hair doesnt turn out what i think i it should look like. I am goin to be disappointed and good thing i got my Crew Fiber, so not too much worries!
Shop til you drop!
