I know.. I know.. I haven’t blogged in a long time. What can I say? I got busy with life and it was easier to Tweet things than sit down and write long winded thoughts and what not. So best bet is to follow me on Twitter.. More about later. I promise I will try to get some things up, revamp the site, and get back to my bluntness and straight-forwardness you guys are used to.
Are you wondering whats up with the title on this blog? And why it has got me back to blogging after almost 2 years? I have been in the process of designing new business cards and finally designed my own logo. In the researching printers, I came across DigitalRoom. They have awesome prices and so many options. I have compared them to brink and mortar stores along with other online printers and they are hard to beat. Well, I am sponsored by them now and they have given me the opportunity to giveaway (2) sets of 500 count business cards. Now these are not cheap quality cards with lame logo on the back business cards from a site rhyming with mistaprimp. These the high quality cards I am planning to get once I design mine. Only the best for me, and passing it along to 2 lucky winners. If you win, you can choose between 3 different die cut business cards. I am looking at 2″x2″ or 3″x3″. Change it up a little. The details to have a chance to win a set of business cards are as follows…
(2) PRIZE WINNERS WILL RECEIVE
500 Business Cards
Choose size: 2×3.5″, 2×3″, 2×2″;
Choose paper: 14pt cardstock (matte or gloss coating) & 13 pt cardstock uncoated
Choose Color: (4/4) Color both sides; (4/1) Color 1 side , B/W backside; (4/0) Color 1 side, black backside

To enter, leave a comment telling how you would use the business cards if you won.
I will select the 2 winners on October 1st, 2009. Winners will be contacted via email Good luck! Until then, be sure to check out DigitalRoom and start designing your card. You never know, you might win and all you have to do is click, print, and your prize will be at your door step in no time.

If I win, I will help promote your ‘new endeavor’ by way of twitter links, blog posts, facebook, and referrals.. lets do THIS!
I’d use them as tags/labels on my handmade art-toy plushies…
and I’d make YOU a plushie! (bunny, kitty, cthulhu, or other monster, alien, whatnot.)
If I win I will use these to network at an upcoming conference.
I would use the cards to push my free-lance business.
I’m starting a web and graphic design business in a small town in Mississippi. My aim is to give our small businesses an online presence– at least a one page website if they don’t want or need anything extensive. Also, as a marketing student I hope to give them a digital marketing strategy that will include a mix of webpages, Google AdWords, and social networking websites. As I mentioned earlier,I am a Senior in college so I try to take advantage of any resources I can — the college experience is a very money-limited one :). If I get these cards I will be able to make and keep contacts with more small businesses as well as other entrepreneurs in my area. Thank you for reading my long-winded spiel and offering this opportunity.
I’d use them to try and help find a new job!
I’d use them to bring my design business’ brand up to date with a new professional look and feel. Thanks for the opportunity!
I’d use them for my fledgling baking business!
I’d use these business cards enhance the experience of mingling at professional gatherings by sharing them as tokens of gratitude in exchange for a moment of time. I’d want the design of the card to be meaningful and worth the effort required to hang on to it. The design would have a explanation that might inspire a discussion.

This contest is open for all world?
Me and a friend are starting an online business for college students and businesses at Indiana University, promoting local restaurants and housing over the big franchise corporations. We are Juniors and have zero money or funding to get the name out. Similar to Brandon’s reason, we would use these cards to pass out to local businesses and get them started with our service. Thanks for the opportunity!
I would love to make a card with a leaf diecut! I’ve always had pretty clean and simple business cards, but now that I’m doing more freelance work, I need something that expresses my creativity and personality better! This would definitely help me be more memorable to potential clients.
